My name is Stephen and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach through Westside Barbell. My goal is to help you get stronger more than you knew was possible and teach you how to do it! Whether if you are a beginner and have been wanting to get strong or perhaps more advanced and are looking to compete in powerlifting or strongman, I can help you achieve your goals!

I’ve been training with Steve and have made great progress in strength and performance. He really knows his stuff when it comes to powerlifting and building strength. Every session is focused, challenging, and built around solid technique and muscle control. We focus on strength and performance, and Steve pushes me the right amount while making sure I’m lifting safely and correctly. I’ve gained noticeable strength and better control over my lifts. He’s a great trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and knows how to bring out your best. Highly recommend him to anyone serious about getting stronger.

When I first started working with Stephen, I didn’t know how to use 90% of the gym equipment. After 4 wks I feel confident using all the equipment at my local gym (and some equipment they don’t have). Stephen took the time to learn my goals (and help me determine some new ones) and tailored a program to fit what I wanted to achieve. You can tell that he puts a lot of effort into creating your program, unlike a lot of other trainers/coaches that lean heavily on AI.
I love the emphasis Stephen puts on safety and proper form and how many alternative and variations he gives based on ability and equipment available. I’ve been making noticeable improvements in my strength and fitness. I highly recommend Stephen to anyone who wants to work with a trainer that cares just as much about them achieving their goals and they do.

I’ve been working with Stephen for a couple of months full time and a couple of months prior to that with strongman training. He has a functional and adaptive approach to training that really builds on my experience. He explains ways that make my lifts better and help improve form and function. I can’t wait to see what another few months means to my training and gains. Plus, he listens to my good natured complaints about the training and is always willing to answer questions. Call up the Centaur man himself and get started with a personalized plan for you and you only.
