I’ve been a member of Club Fitness for almost 4 years now and have gone to multiple locations during that time, but the Arnold location has always been the cleanest, most friendly, and has always felt like a family to me. The staff is always efficient, helpful, and friendly and the members are the same. Overall a fantastic gym. Good clean equipment and very friendly staff. Great trainers who help you to accomplish any and all of your fitness goals. The fitness manager is very knowledgeable and friendly. You can really tell she cares and wants to help you surpass your goals. That’s not always easy to find. Everyone is professional and courteous. My husband and I were Golds members. When they closed, Club Fitness took over our membership. We have been very happy. It’s interesting that when they move , we will be right back where we started with Golds in 2014. I just wish Club Fitness would have kept the pool.

Too small for amount of traffic it gets and music playlist seems to have been picked by a 12 year old girl. Also it is DBAG CENTRAL. I have never seen so many idiots with practically no muscle mass flexing about and wearing cutoffs while crowding the equipment. Hopefully the new construction will be better.

I’m am not one to complain, but I just had the RUDEST lady on the phone today. I have been to this gym 1-2 times in 2016. They put a collections against me in December 2020. I did not JOIN this gym, but they are collecting money from me. The lady wouldn’t even dispute the action with me. She cut me off and said, “You have a good evening, bye” & HUNG UP!!!! I have worked in customer service, and you do not do that. I’m a nice person, and was so sweet on the phone and this lady was just rude and careless. So sad. Not professional AT ALL.

Went to this gum on Saturday. It was a very pleasant experience. Equipment was clean, the music was not too loud and it was not too crowded. I really could not ask for more.
But wait, there is more… they are planning the expansion and will now have the spinning and the pulse room. I really can’t wait for those.

a Fitness Manager and Their Fitness Trainers should not have a belly I understand covid19 may not have had the best of diets on people but a person that is training someone should at least set the example of being fit not saying they may not have knowledge on muscle groups but it's hard to take someone serious whenever you see others around you way more fit then the person you are paying to get you fit

They stole hundreds of dollars from my bank account with charges they never mentioned. They claimed they only charge once a month but they were charging me every week and it was way above the agreed to price. Called to get it fixed and they hung up on me. I reported them to the better buisness Bureau and they retaliated by canceling my membership and charging me 200 bucks for a cancellation. They are criminals.

It seems only about 20% of the people in the gym decide to wear masks. Despite the sign about masks on the door most people just walk right in without one and no employees say anything to them. Also every time I use the restroom I seem to be the only one stopping to wash my hands afterward, where many others just walk right out and then touch the drinking fountains and equipment. It’s disgusting regardless of the pandemic.

The woman working the tanning salon counter assumed I was using a tanning oil. I showed her my lotion and said no I use a lotion because I know that oils are bad for the tanning beds. I eventually stopped tanning here all together because every time I tanned while she was working she would still assume I used a tanning oil and was more forceful about how I have to tan with a lotion and not an oil. Giving it more than one star because I love Gary the pilates instructor. Overall pretty good gym terrible tanning workers.

I am a college student who was a member at the Arnold location from May 2020-July 2020 because I was only in St. Louis for the summer. I tried cancelling online and was told I’d have to come in to cancel my agreement. I came in that day and had to sign some cancellation forms, to find out that since July I have been charged “Club fees” since I’ve been gone. I called curious and was told my cancellation was never logged, and by the payment company and Club fitness that they didn’t handle refunds? I just want to sort this out.

Used to be a place of iron, guts, and glory. Ever since reopening since the pandemic managers have been overbearing on things that never mattered. No im not talking about masks because they don't even tell members to wear those half the time. I've been told to be using equipment and not be on my phone while I'm in the middle of tracking what im doing between sets. Didnt care if we used liquid chalk now that's not allowed even though we throughly clean the bar after. While also not leaving clouds of dust since ya know its liquid. Just overall mismanagement 1 allowing things while the other doesn't. Only few employees seem like they care about there job others just stand around doing nothing. So yeah this place has gone downhill.

This once awesome gym has since had a severe drop off. Prior to the shutdown in March 2020, it was amazing. During the reopening they were still doing good. In the months following when they returned to "normalcy" they since went sharply to a very bad place. Charging full price for a membership they only halfway deliver on. Rampant mismanagement at the local and corporate levels. Simple solutions to the issues they have seem to elude the management here. From the slack in what little employees they do have to the quality of the "trainers" they employ. They need a stark and immediate change in their corporate and local management out of respect for their members and to take themselves seriously. Beyond disappointed in what's happened to Club Fitness at large.
