My sister and I worked out here for several years until we started using other gyms. Consequently, we hadn't been to the gym in months. We didn't cancel the membership, which was our fault. However, in June of 2023, the card that the membership was being charged to was canceled. Instead of our membership being canceled, they chose to send every payment after June to collections under my sister's name. As far as I'm aware, we received no notification that Complete Fitness wasn't receiving payments.

I'm under the impression this is within their right to do as a business operating in Missouri and I'm sure there is something in the initial contract we signed years ago that also enabled them to do this. However, I do feel it is a predatory business practice, especially with no phone calls, or written notification that payments were no longer being received.

If you read through other negative reviews, you can also see that most of them complain about their billing practices. I realize there aren't many great options in the Crystal City area, so if they are the best option, do what you have to do for your fitness/health. With that said though, I'd recommend going with Club Fitness or another gym.

The place has horrible reception that blocks your internet and doesn’t allow you to cancel when your 1 yr contract expires they just keep billing you. Gonna have to literally shut down my bank account in hopes they will stop charging me. Take your business elsewhere.

i will leave my old concerns in the review but i am changing the review for various reasons.

The internet on your cellphone will likely not work here, but they now have WI-FI and it works very well so you can listen to music. i recommend paying for a year membership upfront and not signing a contract for billing as I'm not sure this problem has been fixed. all those things being said, you should come and workout at this gym if you're taking fitness seriously no other location in town has the equipment or atmosphere to succeed like this gym. the staff is friendly.

The location I personally feel hurts the business (its out of the way to work depending where you live) but it's good for you the customer because you readily have access to every machine when you need it and it is rarely crowded in my experience. Don't throw your money in the trash at liberal planet fitness come experience the gym any experienced gym goer would choose. i really don't want more people to show up but i do want the owner of this business to have more customers because he is the only person in town who understands the value of creating the ideal gym atmosphere.

Very dirty tanning beds, unprofessional, kept billing me monthly after I already cancelled my plan (i did not pay these, and they were sent to collections). My advice: stay away from these scammers and go to a legitimate business

Great small town gym without all the hype. Personal trainers, workout classes, tanning and daycare. I have worked out here for several years. This gym is great for anyone looking to start a fitness journey or anyone who is looking to push their fitness to new levels. Check it out and a support your small town gyms.

Best gym around time! Everybody is like a big family. Plenty of equipment to use, the best part is the steel weight free weights.
They offer everything from childcare, classes, personal training, and tanning.
The atmosphere is one you will not be able to get at any other gym.

Great, friendly, helpful staff and the few people I've spoken to have been the same as well. My granddaughter had her very first daycare experience in there a couple of weeks ago and didn't want to leave and that says it all for me. :)

Place is nasty the new owners kept the crappy reviews of previous owners and only good reviews of them from their friends on fb. Never gets cleaned(staph central) benches ripped were foam is showing that cant be cleaned. Out dated equipment that you pay maintenance fee for that never gets fixed. kids running around. Treadmills that stop when your in a dead run bc they don't clean tracks. A 12 month contract with hidden auto renewal and if you want to cancel you have to wait 30days they charge you for that month and the following and you don't even get to work out the following. I do like the free weights and hammer strength and how they approve of grunting and slamming weights that's about it.

I do love going to complete fitness. They offer classes, have a wide variety of workout equipment and also have tanning beds. It's a bit pricey, more then I'd like to pay but worth it if you go a lot throughout the month.

I gave 4 stars for a couple of reasons. In my opinion there is not enough room for certain hiit workouts if you don’t use a machine. I think there needs to be two benches when you want to bench press as I always have to wait on it to open up. I also think they should have more HIIT classes (or any for that matter) at least twice a week, maybe even some strength training classes.
Now for the good. The staff is awesome, they have free daycare with membership. They are open 24 hrs. They have free tanning with membership. They have a wide variety of equipment. Friendly atmosphere, and the owner is awesome (FYI she has never stolen any money from me lol) all in all good gym, but I wish it was more of a get involved gym with classes and all and more space.

I have NEVER had an issue with customer service, the owner and staff are and always have been friendly polite and helpful. I recently moved to Arnold and will continue to come here because i cannot find a gym that beats Completes atmospheres.

The Gym itself was not bad until we wanted to leave! We were out of contract and went in and signed the cancellation form and they denied it! How do you deny somebody trying to cancel! Then they proceeded to try and keep charging us for months and late fees! We still trying to get all are money back! Horrible costumer service! NOBODY ever calls us back! They won't let you talk to the owner! And they doing the same thing to my brother! Would never recommend this gym to anybody! STAY AWAY!
