Its a great class thats more strength oriented than cardio, though it did get my heart rate up. The emphasis is on form and quality reps- the instructor is great about answering questions and giving you guidance. Its a great way to start a Friday morning!

I have been going to Core Strong for a couple of months now. The classes are challenging and never routine. The coaches will suggest modifications if needed and push you when you need that too! Going to a new gym can be intimidating, but I can honestly say that I have felt welcome from day one. I really enjoy the comradery of the coaches and members. It may sound cliche but this is a gym family, they truly care about one another, not only at the gym but outside the gym as well. Everyone is encouraging and the accountability keeps me going back. My original goals were to get stronger and improve my balance and Iβm proud of the progress Iβm making.

Adding to my review to share how great the new facility is - I've been attending in person classes for the past year. Walking into the atmosphere at Core Strong KC is unlike any other. It's super clean, organized, and designed so you can get right to business with your workout.
I went from attending classes once weekly via ClassPass to becoming a full member and working out with CORE Strong KC daily. The new gym space really puts them over the edge.

Hands down best gym in KC. The variety of classes throughout the day give you all kinds of options to come in and get your workout. Coaches are all amazing and do a great job not only pushing you but also making sure you are correctly doing the exercise to prevent injury. Iβve been coming here for three years and I have never felt burnt out, always something new you can do to challenge your ability.

This gym is different then the rest of the gyms Iβve tried going to to get in shape. They have a strong fit family that is caring, motivating and understanding of all goals, fitness levels, and even personal lives. What I love most about core strong is the fit fam that I have there, weβll hang out outside of the gym and actually build friendships. Before My first class, I was a little intimidated because I wasnβt Sure what to expect and hadnβt ever used TRX bands. I can honestly say it was such a fun experience. The circuits were a little hard to follow at first but other people in the class Are more than willing to help you even if your too shy to ask. They will notice you struggling and stop their circuit to assist you. The class instructor is also walking around to assist anyone having trouble or needing some extra guidance. All in all, I felt A strong sense of community from day one. I highly Recommend trying it out because now Iβm addicted!

This is the absolute best place to be. Not only did I do the 90 day challenge and lose 27 pounds, but I also learned how to do it the right way. Which means.. What do you want? A good total body workout? Do you want to push yourself to your limits? Do you want to train for the unknown? This all can be had in the Core Strong Fitness class. Yes, I said class. The workouts are setup such that you can really go at your own pace and get out of it what you want. Regardless of your fitness level, at the end of class, all had a great workout no matter what. A real community of non competition fitness and, dare I say it, just for the fun of it.

Mark Campbell is an incredible and well educated trainer and classes are so much fun! I was introduced to TRX suspension training when I set a goal to run my first half marathon. Within the first few sessions I could already tell a difference in my strength and my running. Injuries stopped holding me back and I started enjoying training again. I completed my race and continue to set new PRs for myself as I get stronger. I have done personal training as well as classes with Mark and both have been an amazing experience. Don't get me wrong, you EARN IT, but it's a very encouraging atmosphere and Mark's extensive knowledge of the body, muscle groups and even diet (my husband and I do his 90 challenge/diet and have seen INSANE results, all while still eating great foods!) is worth so much more than you could ever pay. Knowing him and being a part of the core strong family has been life changing. The least you can do is check out a class and I encourage you to comit to one month and see how your life changes!

The Ultimate full body workout. I was so nervous at first..I was certain I would look like a fool. I didn't!! Mark who is the coach is so passionate about what he teaches. You feed off of that and can't wait to get to another class. If you do get nervous with classes he does private sessions..however I have a feeling once you get the basics down you'll be excited about joining the Core Strong family. Earn Your Better!!

Tried TRX after an injury to regain strength. I've gained it back and then some! Mark is great. The workouts will always test new muscle groups. You WILL find muscles you never knew existed!

I went to improve my upper body strength and got so much more. I've been going for 8 months and continue to look forward to it every week. Our trainer, Mark, goes above and beyond to ensure a great workout. His knowledge and experience allows him to give each individual the best workout for their fitness level. Class is like getting together with family.

Having gone 4 times now I feel like every time has made me want to go even more. Mark has been a blessing, he gives personal attention and is always there with an encouraging word. TRX is a great full body workout. I am coming from no exercise at all to enjoying myself doing TRX with Mark and anyone else who shows up. It's been a great experience. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
