We love Dance Expressions Studio!!! My five year old has been attending classes the last year and a half, and has performed in 2 of the recitals. Jensyn, the owner and one of the teachers, is truly amazing. The environment is warm and inviting, the instruction is excellent, and my child is always leaving with a big smile. We absolutely LOVE Dance Expressions Studio! Our 3-year-old loves attending classes here and it has quickly become her home away from home. Her confidence has grown so much, and it’s amazing to watch her shine and thrive in such a positive and encouraging environment.

She adores being part of the competition team, and we’re so grateful that the studio offers so many wonderful opportunities even for the littlest dancers. The teachers, staff, and families are all incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive, and you can feel the warmth the moment you walk through the door.

Another huge plus is that they offer classes for every age, from 1-year-olds all the way up to adults, which truly makes it a perfect place for the whole family. And the lobby has the cutest toy room, which is such a thoughtful touch and makes waiting so much easier for siblings.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at DES! My son absolutely LOVES coming here so much so that he counts down the days until his next class. The energy, the instructors, the community, everything about this studio is welcoming and inspiring.

The instructors are not only talented dancers, but incredible teachers who know how to connect with kids. They’re patient, encouraging, and know how to bring out each child’s unique potential. My son has grown so much in confidence, discipline, and joy through dance and I credit this amazing studio for that.

What I especially appreciate is how Ms. Jensyn makes every student feel seen and celebrated.

We’ve had a great experience at DES! The Tiny Tumble class is a great combination of dance and gymnastics for little ones. DES is also one of the only studios I’ve found in Columbia for the littlest kiddos. Highly recommend!

I LOVE Jensyn and Dance Expressions. My little one is almost 2 and LOVES to dance. We tried another studio in town, and they would not let me in with her. She screamed. It was horrible. When we found Dance Expressions, parents are able to go in with their littles and share that experience with them. We are so happy we found them! Also, I as a long time dancer myself, was able to find an adult class for myself to get away once a week, and have fun again doing something I love. Excited about continuing for years to come!

A new, spacious, ballet studio with a non-competitive multi-genre component. A lovely, talented, welcoming studio director. It's near everything shopping with a gym next door. Easy access from the freeway and safe parking. My daughter really appreciates the respectful, knowledgeable teaching method in the only class for teens/adults for now. The instructors have beautiful ballet lines and can demonstrate correctly. We are still looking for an established classical ballet studio, but this one is perfect for her transition back to in-person ballet education. Try this studio.

My daughter and I have LOVED the Parent and Tot class at DES! Miss Jensyn is a fabulous teacher - she is patient, fun, and has tailored the class in a way that is developmentally appropriate for toddlers and also adaptable to the needs of each student. My daughter loves to dance but can also be quite shy. She feels so comfortable with Miss Jensyn. She is encouraged to try new things but never pressured to participate if she’s not feeling up to it. As a former dancer myself, I really appreciate Miss Jensyn’s approach and feel like this is the best way to ease a young child into the dance class environment. I am so glad we found DES and I cannot recommend this studio enough for young dancers!!
