The people, trainers, and atmosphere are so positive at Donovan’s. The workouts are constantly changing so you never get bored. The trainers also will modify exercises for you if you can’t do something yet. They push you to become your best self. I can tell I’m increasing my strength and making my body healthier. I've been going to Donovan's Strength and Conditioning for three months. Today I hit a new PR that I didn't think would be possible for a long time. The feeling of reaching this new number is hard to describe! It's exciting!
Tommy and Michele have pushed me, demonstrated proper form, and explained nutritional recovery. My hips were very tight/weak when I started, and my body now feels strong. DSC is the best gym in town! I have been to most of the gyms in the area and none have compared to this gym. The coaches are not only top notch professionals and experts in their field, they are compassionate, motivating, and encouraging. If you want to get stronger, and need someone to tell you what to do to make it happen... this is the place. Tommy, Michelle, and Pete are great at keeping me coming back for more, lots of laughs, and you will definitely get stronger. I love the atmosphere, I am 50ish and fit right in. Donovans is set up for weight training, no treadmills, members are at all levels of weights, extremely well organized. Highly recommend!

Always worked out with a personal trainer BUT this is much better!! I go 3x/week and the 45 min sessions are very reasonable!! I love the individual attention, the fact that we don’t use machines, always upper and lower body options, and of course accommodations. Definitely recommend for all ages! I’m 64

I’m not your typical gym person. I’m older, out of shape and need to lose weight. The trainers have met me right where I am. I can’t say enough good things about Donovan’s gym. There are men and women in all different stages of fitness. It’s inspiring to see those who are able to do everything and it’s also inspiring to see those who are beginning. And everyone encourages each other. If you’ve been afraid to walk in a gym, this is a completely different atmosphere. The trainers work personally with each person, making sure they’re doing the most that THEY can do. I’m thankful each day I found them. I’m getting stronger and more fit each week.

The coaches there are great! They challenge me to go a little heavier and will give correction when needed, but will also give recognition when you nailing it.

I started going to Donovans in April 2021 after not having been in a gym for more than a year. I was ready for personalized training but I am a social person so having a small class atmosphere was really important to me. The class sizes range from just a few people to about 12 people, with sessions in the morning, evening and Saturdays. Many of the gym family have been attending for years and have always been welcoming, supportive and inclusive.
I had no idea where to begin and the trainers have been amazing from day one. With their guidance, I've learned so much about increasing my strength according to my body needs. .
If you are looking for a strength and conditioning gym with a fantastic atmosphere I highly recommend Donovans. They'll give you a free trial period to check it out too!

Excellent staff and programming! All workouts are designed to be scalable and small group sessions enable the coaches to assist and guide you through each workout. The full spectrum is here and everyone is supportive of each other. You can even check it out for FREE and participate before committing to one of many different plans. Very effective atmosphere. Fitness can't be a one-size-fits-all approach. These guys know that. Small, organized classes that allow you to spread out, get in the work, and ask questions when needed. Tommy and his staff put together well balanced workouts that will benefit everyone. You can go at your own pace, but you WILL be pushed into that extra rep that you probably wouldn't have done at home. That's something you just don't get in the "purple building" or some fancy "club". You won't be on a treadmill for an hour, that's a promise!

The other members are always welcoming and friendly. I've seen some of the staff joining the classes on their off days. With the in-house nutritionist available by appointment, there is zero doubt you can reach your health goals with this gym. If you're committed, give this place a shot. Talk to Tommy and he'll give you some quality direction. The hardest part is showing up.

I've been lifting weights for several years, but since being trained at DSC my results happened so much faster! The trainers are super personable and are extremely knowledgeable on how to safely perform movements so that people don't get hurt. I really prefer these classes to personal training because I have other people training alongside me who motivate me to do my best and to keep showing up. I've trained at other gyms and truly none compare to Donovan's Strength and Conditioning.

This place has been amazing! It is a great place to go if you are a beginner or have hit a plateau and need help taking it to the next level! All of the Coaches are not intimidating at all and really care about your personal success! Safety is one of their top priorities and they are very educated when it comes to training. They are going to make sure you don't get hurt and will make the proper modifications needed if you have any injuries. They are always motivating us to do our best!
