Fit City is the best gym ever! I used to go to competitor gyms, but got tired of the lack of gym etiquette. Fit City is so refreshing! Members re-rack their weights and Fit City runs a tight ship! Love it!!

Absolutely amazing gym. New equipment, nice bathrooms, cute sauna! I love how many unique machines there are! I wish I could take this gym back to Michigan with me. Whenever I come back to St. Louis, I'll be back here!

The gym is the absolute best around, but the kids club is severely lacking for any child over the age of 3. Could use some older kid activities like coloring pages, crayons,100-piece puzzles, larger seats for kids over 3, Magna-tiles, etc. Currently only caters to infants and toddlers as far as toys and entertainment. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the kids club staff, though! They’re amazing! Gym is super clean and welcoming. Tons of machines to hit every muscle possible.

This is really an excellent gym. It is very clean. Well equipped with everything you can dream of. AND everyone is so nice and greets me with smiles when I come in. I’m starting over after a hernia surgery and everything is available to me at my current lifting levels, and I am ready to use everything in the future! I have already met people on the weight floor who wave and say Hi when I walk in! FitCity is the type of gym for a gym goer that has a powerlifting friend, a bodybuilder friend, an Olympic weightlifting friend, and a friend that just wants to be healthy. Equipment is brand new, and very nice. Though lacking in a legitimate Olympic Weightlifting platform. Big enough to not recognize some people but small enough for the staff to remember your name.

FitCity Cottleville and St. Louis are the perfect cross between a local gym for the gym obsessed people and a gym that anyone could go to. Members are friendly enough to lend you a spot when need be but also recognize when it's time to work hard. Another thing about this gym, everyone has goals. Everyone is working towards something. When you've got a group of people working toward their own goals, that group becomes a community in a way.

In my opinion, anyway you look at this gym it's a solid place to be.

My 3 stars are based solely on the lack of amenities. There is no womens room or group classes. ( some enjoy those options for suppirt and motivation in a gym).

The suana is small as well.
They have really nice equipment. Most of the staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and nice.

The price is too high for what is offered, and the required 12-month contract is unnecessary. They charge an additional $50 for a maintenance fee once a year. I find that ridiculous.

I found the gym to be a bit cluttered between the number of people and equipment.

Lastly, I've spoken with several staff members over the last 3 weeks, and they seem to bad talk Club Fitness franchise while promoting this gym. You shouldn't have to put down another business (that's much bigger and better known) just to promote your business.

There are many pros and cons and it comes down to what you're looking for.

Pros:
• GREAT equipment (very specialized and rarely seen elsewhere)!
• Aesthetically flows (not a hodgepodge of colors)
• Jeff, the owner, is fantastic and it's obvious he cares about his customers.
• The staff always are nice and attentive.

Cons:
• This location often feels like a ghost town
• There is more equipment needed but the space is maxed out
• Membership fees are a bit high for what's currently offered.
• Albeit no women's room or group classes, the exec leadership for this location appears more corporate-focused, and based on recent convos it's apparent. It feels like the gym is shifting away from being a local community hub toward something more akin to a big-chain fitness center, with more bureaucracy and less personal touch.

Ultimately, business is business. While the equipment is outstanding (earning the 3 stars), the diminishing sense of community and growing corporate vibe detract from the overall experience, costing it the final two stars.

Incredible gym. Plenty of excellent equipment for both bodybuilders and powerlifters. Deadlift bars available on request, you only need to check it out and return it to use it. Squat and bench specific bars are marked so that they are not used for the wrong application. Smaller weights even down to 0.25lb are available for those specific needs. Friendly staff who are helpful, professional, and friendly. Both the owners are friendly and helpful as well. Understanding and accommodating. 10/10 all the way. Clean and well kept too.

I watch the takeover youtuber train in this gym. The equipment is top notch from what I've seen. I live in joliet IL and vasa, planet, cfx and la fitness all have the same equipment just a different name and location. It's either lifefitness or hammer strength. I wish this company would build a gym here in Illinois. I'm so jealous lol 😂 😂 😂.

This gym is nice and new! Not many members yet so it feels like you have your own personal gym when working out. A lot of unique equipment you won’t find at commercial gyms. They offer a student/military and/or first responder discount on membership which is a nice plus

THE BEST GYM IN THE REGION. The absolute best equipment, the most helpful staff, and an amazing community. As a powerlifter, I have been to many, many gyms around the Nation and this gym is hard to top. The recovery is awesome for my arthritis and I highly recommend the premium membership just for that reason alone. Highly recommend this gym! It is not your typical commercial gym and blows any competition out of the water. The biggest variety of machines and equipment I have seen and the gym is open and spacious. The quality and care that went into this gym is evident and really shows that they care about their members and want to give the best experience possible for all customers. The staff is also the best! They are very welcoming, attentive, and helpful.

By far the nicest gym in the entire state. The equipment is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Waiting around for a piece of equipment is not an issue as they have about 5-8 different options for the same muscle groups. For powerlifting they have every single speciality bar, kilo plates, a monolift, combo rack, competition grade benches and a whole lot of squat racks. They even have a yoke, log, sandbags, and farmers handles for the strongman. On top of that, they have recovery equipment like infrared saunas, normatec compressions pants, red light therapy and more! This gym cares about every single athlete equally, regardless what sport they compete in. But it’s also a warm and welcoming environment for everyday beginners as well.

The staff are all incredibly professional and attentive. As soon as you walk through the door someone is there to greet you and assist with whatever you need. Bathrooms are spotless and the lockers are spacious and have customizable combination locks built into them. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Best Gym in Cottleville/St. Peters hands down. Top of the line equipment, very friendly staff, and overall a great gym environment. So far, other members have had great gym etiquette and are very friendly as well. Highly recommend checking it out for yourself.
