I really like the community here. I typically take the Beats N Power Flow class, but have also tried some Slow Flows as well. When I started attending classes here, I wasn't too excited about doing sequences that are typically the same each time because I worry about getting bored. However, I soon learned that each instructor is capable of putting their own spin on each class and some are so good that I get lost in the flow and don't get bored at all.

Don't be too scared by the "hot" label. I've been to other places locally and elsewhere in the US and I would describe these hot classes as more of a warm option, especially in the winter. I imagine the summer heat will help heat the classes during those months.

I especially love Mary Jo and Sydney's classes. They are true Flow Masters! They are so eloquent in their sequence edits and their ability to make each class their own unique style. I love their playlists as well.

I've also had a chance to take a workshop here and loved it. I generally look for studios that do workshops to allow people to work on the more difficult poses, and they are more difficult to find than one would expect. The headstand workshop here was so great and the instructor made something scary feel so much more approachable and doable. I plan to attend many more of these workshops in the future.

Great Yin class. Mark has a lovely calming tone and the pace was perfect! A great way to end a full day or ground yourself before a busy week!

I took a beginners yoga class with Jamie at Gateway Yoga and really enjoyed it! The music was great and the lavender towels at the end were a very nice touch! If you place one of their stones near your mat you are able to receive hands on guidance which is another great benefit. I can tell they have a wonderful community of instructors and members at this yoga studio! Highly recommend!

I have been fortunate to have been a member of Gateway Yoga for many many years.
This studio brings me joy every class. The community here is one of the main reasons I come. The Teachers are excellent and really know their stuff.
Because of this studio, I continue to be strong and love working in my garden, pushing myself, and do things most people my age stop doing.
I feel welcome every time I walk in the door.
I had shoulder surgery last year and as soon as rehab was over, I returned to yoga and never have I felt better.
If you want to be part of an amazing community, Gateway Yoga is for you.

I unfortunately took a yoga hiatus for about 3 years and I wanted to start up again. I'm so glad I found Gateway Yoga! Everyone there is friendly, helpful and accommodating as I dive back into yoga. I love the variety of classes to choose from and every instructor I've had is wonderful. It is truly a wonderful yoga community!

I’ve been looking for a new yoga community since my local fave closed down (RIP Practicing Yoga). Saw a Facebook ad for their 6 week challenge and signed up in April. The challenge was fun, and I could feel improvements in my physical and mental well being within a couple weeks. It’s now mid August and I’ve continued going twice a week as a supplement to cardio and strength training (my favorites are the Beats & Flow classes!). I love how lean, flexible, strong and just β€œwrung out” I feel after class. Reminds me no matter how my body is feeling (postpartum or tired or bloated or weak or heavy etc), I’m always stronger and more capable than I think, and the connection between mind and body is so powerful- and effective, when utilized. The community here is wonderful- everyone is so friendly and the instructors are supportive, welcoming and fun. Sign up for the challenge! Then stay because it’s awesome.

This place is magic--on so many levels! I sought out yoga to support my running habit and it has been a game changer. I love the community and support and the expertise that is a part of every class. I cannot imagine my world without them now!

I am thrilled to have found this studio! Being relatively new to yoga- I am grateful for the guidance, patience and openness of the instructors and the entire community. Whether it is sweating in the studio or being amongst nature in Kirkwood park, I leave class physically and mentally recharged!! I encourage new students to take advantage of the 2-week unlimited promo-- I promise you will be hooked :)

UPDATE: It has been 2 years since I joined the Gateway Yoga family and my practice with this community has become a staple of my weekly routine. I am stronger physically and mentally than I ever thought I could be. Hope to see you on the mat!

I’m grateful that I found Gateway Yoga a few years ago. It’s been one of the few things that have been somewhat constant in my life, through numerous ups and downs and growth. When I am unable to attend for a while, owners Brittnie and Beth always welcome me back. They have built a fabulous community! If I’m feeling social, fellow yogis are friendly and easy to talk to. If I’m not feeling great, I can still pop in and out with just a few hellos and good-byes, and I leave feeling better just because I shared space with kind people.

I love the types of yoga that Gateway teaches and I have liked every single instructor. I started with cool classes and at some point got a wild hair and tried a hot class; I was shocked to find that I actually enjoy it! I believe they heat the room to about 90 degrees, much more reasonable than the 100+ at some other studios.

I love Gateway so much that I pay for a year at a time. That’s how convinced I am that I need it my plan for stability and happiness.

Between the instructors, the variety of classes for all experience levels, and the welcoming community, Gateway Yoga is AMAZING. I started out super confused on how to do any of the poses, and within a month of taking Yoga 101, I felt so much more confident. Over the last year, I have moved up to some of the harder (and hotter!) classes, and I look forward to them every week! I can't recommend enough if you're curious about yoga.

The website needs updating. There is no phone number that works. As a business owner and just moving here from a large city this is disappointing. I am looking for a studio and this one comes across as unorganized.

Great place and an awesome instructor. We did the hot yoga and I've done hot yoga before at a different place and didn't like the smell. Gateway yoga was very clean and no smell it shows that they take good care of the facilities. All around great experience.

Beth is a very positive teacher. She takes the time to help you find a good modification for a pose and then congratulates you when you get it right. I took yoga 101 for beginners, so it wasn't heated and isn't a "power" class. It was still a challenge for me, in a good way, and I felt confident that I can make progress.

I have lived and practiced yoga in many places, and this is truly my favorite studio ever! My favorite part is the sense of community. The owners, teachers, and other students are all so welcoming and supportive. I also love how they offer many different styles of yoga and special workshops too. Amazing studio for new and long-time yogis!

I've been so please with every class I have ever taken here. When I come consistently, my body moves so much freer, I have more flexibility, and my spine even decompresses-- to the point that I regain lost height (usually about a quarter of an inch). Thank you, BPY- St. Louis for offering such a great variety of in-person and online classes.

I'm in St. Louis for work quite often. As a result, I've checked out BlueBird Yoga (closer to the office but parking is tricky!), Yoga Six (awesome shower facilities!) and then I found Metro Power Yoga - who have now become a Baptiste Affiliate studio - Baptiste Power Yoga St. Louis !!

The studio has ample parking and has awesome early morning yoga classes so I can get Journey Into Power into my morning before the work day starts.

SO GOOD!
