You sign into your profile to do it. You also can't call customer service to request it. You must send a letter or seek the email address of the location manager and request it. Otherwise your bank account will continue to be debited.

Went to workout and dropped my kids off at kids club 12/31/19 @ 10 and the lady was extremely rude and unfriendly. She never made eye contact. Very unprofessional and not a staff member that should be working with children and families. I would recommend posting a schedule with first names of kids club staff members so gym members know who is on duty that day and choose whether or not to bring kids that session. I had a great experience with the kids club member the day prior and totally opposite today.

I was turned away for my free trial because I did not have proof of my residence in the area. I just moved in with my auntie and so I literally had nothing to show but I literally live here. This was so disheartening and there was no attempt to try and work around it. The only thing I could do is give my address and you can come visit my place. Ruined a day of working out for me.

This gym has a large number of aerobic machines, weight machines, free weights & a theater with aerobic machines.  Additionally, includes full gym, pool, & jacuzzi. Everything you need for total body workout. Plus the staff is always friendly. The one thing that's in great need of an urgent update is the coed sauna.

Horrible customer service. Equipment is dirty (I saw a water bottle and paper towel on the same machine for days). They are more concerned with acquiring new members than keeping the members that they have. And don’t try to cancel! Became a member here, loved it. Moved near another location and started going there. The florrisant location decided to keep billing me anyway even after my membership had ended. They sent it to collections without ever notifying me. I had to call and come in multiple times and was never resolved. I just got another email saying I owe hundreds of dollars for a period of time I was not a member. Turns out my friend from the marines has had the same issue. Beware of this corporation. They treat their customers poorly and take advantage of veteran's.

Do not ever use Gold’s Gym! They continue to charge us our monthly rate even though we cancelled our membership in April! The manager thought she got it fixed a couple months ago and yet, we were charged again for the month of August for no reason!! And none of the workers can ever give you an answer. They will definitely steal your money and it takes forever to fix! Save your troubles and your money: Don’t go to Gold’s Gym.

Edited 6/23/18 to add latest fiasco trying to deal with this business (read to the end to see initial review and the manager's response to it:

Regretfully their policy of “get ‘em in the computer or get ‘em out the door” is still in effect. In today’s world, where identity theft is a real and frequent occurrence, one might think businesses would do more to prevent it instead of stockpiling customers’ and potential clients’ personal information. The only reason to demand any personal information before helping a potential customer is to make money from it without the individual's consent.

As the manager requested I contacted him via email several days ago to ask the same questions about the facility and their participation in the Silver Sneakers fitness program for those of us on Medicare. This is not a “free” program – it something we pay for through our Medicare insurance premiums. Instead of answering some simple questions not answered on their website, Mr. Dill determined my request was unimportant and that it was all about his wants and preferences.

Thinking I might have failed to effectively communicate my needs with him I decided to try it his way and responded to his insults by letting him know I’d be by to discuss my issues with him. Mr. Dill made it clear that he was too important to meet with riff raff like me, but he did provide the name of one of his employees he claimed would assist me.

I arrived at the appointed time, introduced myself to the employee at the front counter, and said I was there to see _____ (name withheld because I was not permitted to see him so have nothing to say about him), the person designated by Mr. Dill to assist me. Although the employee who greeted me was personable and friendly, her only mission was to pump personal information about me into their system. She refused to contact the person I was there to see until/unless I acquiesced to their invasion of my privacy.

I don’t know if it is a failure to communicate within their organization or just the example set by management, but trying to deal with them is about as distasteful as anything I’ve done in a long time. This is not faulting the employees – they are doing their jobs as the boss tells them to.

Initial review: This location is designated as gym that participates in the Silver Sneakers Program (old farts' medicare gym/health program). I stopped in last year to ask a couple questions about the gym and the program and the staff refused to answer any questions unless I provided personal/private information to be held in their computer network. The staff wouldn't even say if they actually participated in the program or not without collecting personal and private information. I am not exaggerating.

Good gym, plenty of parking, very good selection of weights machines and cardio. It's a little pricey for a visitor. I mostly go for the pool and the water was too cold on the day I went. My feet cramped up after only 30 minutes.

I am very disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the facility as a whole, but in particular the locker rooms, showers, and pool area are, quite frankly, disgusting. There is always a very unpleasant odor and overall grimy feeling in these areas. I recommend hiring employees that actually value a clean and sterile gym environment, and maybe install some ventilation in the locker rooms. Honestly, if it weren't for my individual circumstances with where I currently work, I would never go back to this facility ever again. I will not be recommending this gym to anyone anytime soon. Please, have someone from corporate down to inspect; it's really bad at the Florissant location.

The equipment needs cleaning too too bottom inside and out . During the warm days their bugs inside the building. The equipment is always broken and takes too long to fix . Wish people would put weights away when their finished and why do you think theirs trash cans ??? Hardly anyone uses them . I got friends too join and they won’t be back and theirs words were yucky and showers don’t work right plus shoots out cold water and pool water was cold and the jets didn’t work and in the locker rooms and bath area toilets nasty and some don’t work. The roof leakes in places . ( is it because we live in North County??? ) I now drive out too St. Peter’s, O’fallon and Dorset and will be going too Florissant civic center too workout.
I’m sad too see that some of the good trainers and I don’t blame them . ( Club Fitness locker rooms are a lot better and was told that the gym is a lot cleaner by another friend who goes their & they were going to sign up with Gold’s gym until they look at locker and bath area and said no . ( I recommend if you go to Gold’s gym before you sign papers go into locker rooms and bath area because they don’t show you that when the sales person takes you on a tour)

I'm an LA Fitness patron and got a day pass for this location. It was my first Gold's Gym experience. All in all I was pleased with service and facilities. There's lots of space and lots of machines, can't imagine how I'd ever have to wait for any of the multiple same machines. A few minor complaints, was that some of the cardio equipment was producing a high pitch drone that began to grate on my nerves. Also didn't care for all the echos and reverberating noise in the gym. LA Fitness has carpet and this is non-existent. At this location I appreciated the higher ceilings in showers. Benches for lockers are small and there's not much space for bigger folks. I'm 6'5", it was cramped. I will definitely check out this location and any other location when traveling.

Had a good first month back with the gym until tonight when as I rushed out of my house to get there I left my wallet on the counter. I wasn't allowed in because I did not have picture ID. I pulled up my bank statements verified by thumb print, car registration, and insurance card but the lady still refused. I asked to speak with a manager on the matter and she refused again to even get one. Being the most expensive gym in the area one would think staff would be more friendly, I will go across the street and pay $15 less a month.

Overall Golds Gym is great! Here are the pros
Nice atmosphere, multiple things to do in the as far as equipment and classes. Staff is friendly(if you are a regular).Bathrooms are clean. Location is close to my home. The best part is that I have left valuable items on equipment and in bathroom and NEVER experienced theft. I feel so comfortable ans safe in this gym!
Now for the cons. Sometimes it takes a while for equipment to be fixed, they should do s better kob at cleaning sauna, pool, and Jacuzzi. This gym has alot of traffic. Probably one of their busiest ones. So they should invest in proper maintenance and upkeep. That is my only complaint. The Golds gym by Scott Airforce base where I signed up at was cosmetically beautiful! With a women work out area. Notes on elliptical machine to get best experience and two-story theatre to workout in. I cant wait til our gym can expand and get the same!

I'm a 2 yr member. I just had back surgery and couldn't drive for 2 wks. I tried to freeze my account over the phone and got 3 different story's over the phone from 3 gold's workers. None worked. Finally able to go in and showed my discharge papers that said I should do NOTHING but light walking. This was not enough info for them to freeze my account. I got dr excuse today and unfrendly operation manager said it would be 30 days payment to freeze my account. She ignored the 2wks I have been trying to get this done. I wanted to go back to the gym but there MONEY grab and poor service makes me think about canceling service. BEWARE corporate greed. Will file complaint with BBB

Mahogany is a complete witch... If you're traveling and you're trying to use your travel pass, she will make you jump through 15 loops to use the facility. I pay for my pass at another location, it should be an easy smooth transition to get in the gym but she definitely doesn't make it easy. I don't know why she takes her job so seriously but she seriously sucks at her job. Side note: if you're trying to get a friend a trial pass, you better bring your birth certificate, social security card, finger prints, get a retina scan and a dna test to be sure you qualify to enter her gym even though it looks like she's never used the gym a day in her life.

I have been a member of the Flor. gym since they opened. I work out, use the cardio machines, and attend classes. About 3 months ago, I approached one of the fitness trainers, Stacey, about working with me on my shoulder diagnosed 10 years ago with bursitis from 30 years of pitching underhand soft ball (poorly!). She has expertly worked with me and after carefully and slowly moving and strengthening the shoulder, I am no longer lopsided! Both shoulders are strong and capable! I also love Elena and Francis's Body Flow classes and Linda's Step and Yoga classes. I thoroughly enjoy every minute I spend at the gym!

I find there site misleading: listing plans it posts "$59.99
Enrollment $15.99 Bi-Weekly Dues Month-To-Month". However , on the next screen after asing for credit card information it says "initial payment is

I have been a member of Gold's Gym since they first opened in Florissant, MO. When I first started, I concentrated on using the machines. Now, I attend classes too. Body Pump with Dave is my favorite class. Dave is a true professional and personable. He pays attention to each class member and takes time to correct positions while maintaining the vigor and rhythm of the class! Body Pump with Dave is a great workout. I have experienced improvement in muscle tone, stamina and overall strength. After 4 knee surgeries, this is truly a blessing! Thanks Dave!

I joined Gold's 5 months ago. I've been to every gym in North County, nothing compares to Gold's.
It is so true that motivation is a group effort.
The variety of classes is amazing. Zumba, Body-pump, Gx Worx, Muscle-mix, Step Aerobics, Aqua Fitness, Spinning, and Body-Combat. All so much fun.
Not to mention so many floor machines, ellipticals, free weights...and you never have to wait for a machine. Oh and don't forget the Theatre room.
I'm getting great results that I never achieved at ANY other gym. My favorite is Body-pump with David. He is a great motivator. 10 pounds down and still losing!

My "men of the morning" really help me with reaching my goals... with David in body pump and Francis in body combat and body flow, I feel like with their guidance I can push myself harder than I ever have before and I love it!!! I checked out several St Louis area gyms before settling on Gold's Gym. Not only are the facilities far better than Club Fitness & 24 Fitness, but the staff was incredibly friendly. There was no hard sell when I walked in the door like the other places.

This location (not all) offers a medium-sized indoor swimming pool, a sauna, hot tub, plenty of weights and aerobic machines, and a movie theater to watch movies in full surround sound on a big screen while you job/cycle. Don't forget the basketball court and the training rooms. (I haven't used those yet.)
