After you sign up for either a 59.99 or a 79.99 membership you still have to buy a mat and towel that HAS to be from them for 130 dollars…… or you can rent for 5 dollars everyday. Not very fiscally responsible if you actually plan on working out a lot and just very scammy overall. Wasn’t really specified that that was the case beforehand, and the guy that works there kept talking about giving a “discount” for membership payment or for rentals. Then tried to exercise my right to cancel within 3 days per the contract and Missouri Law and they said they can’t accept cancellations this late in the month? Then, once I explained further the poor girl working the front desk said she would contact her manager, who never contacted me. So, I went in person to cancel within a written notice of what I was doing. After the poor girl was so stressed out and didn’t know what to do the manager finally said our names would get written down and we would finally get it cancelled. Now, the kicker. I told her that I called another Hotworx that wasn’t going to make me rent, and she said “oh which one?”. I said “I’m not going to tell you which one.” THEN, she said that they were now willing to give us pre owned ones for free? I said “no it’s too late for that.” So, basically, Hotworx is a great place to workout, but call around and ask if they’re going to force you to rent from them anytime you go and be wary of weird situations like this where they are just about money. I get it, everybody needs money, but I just gave you some and am just looking for some basic hospitality that the other Hotworx understand.

During my trial, a male staff member at this location tried to pressure me into purchasing a membership by using negative reinforcement and speaking poorly about Yoga6. Quote, “Yoga6 sucks so bad and you should just get a membership here instead.” Unprofessional, uncomfortably passive aggressive, and just turned me off from ever getting a hotworx membership.

I thought this place was okay. I've been to quite a few HotWorx. One lady, who was the owner, was welcoming and friendly. But the other staff that I dealt with on a different day, I really did not care for. It felt like I was interrupting her when I asked for things. She didn't know the difference between the fragrance room spray bottle and the cleaner spray bottle. Also, I am not sure how true this is but another member told me that I had to ask staff for room fragrance spray and that the studio charges for the usage. However, I wasn't charged and it wouldn't be something that I would pay for.

***Update, the owner called me after she saw my review. She apologized for the experience I had with her staff member and she took the time to explain to me the issue with the room fragrance spray. According to her, HotWorx will be fined for leaving those bottles out which includes the room fragrance spray bottle and that they must be handle by the staff. She apologized for the confusion. She also took the time to explain that the member most likely misunderstood my question. The studio sells small fragrance bottles as a retail item. I really appreciate the owner taking the time to call me. That shows to me how much she cares about her studio.

I just got my membership in January and I’ve been coming at least 3x a week. I love that it’s different from other gyms. Staff is honestly always friendly and welcoming and the one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever been to.

I just love HOTWORX!! The infrared saunas feel literally amazing and there are SO many different sessions to chose from so I never get bored! I cannot rave about this ENOUGH!! Holy smokes I never even would have thought a place like this would exist but it does! Working out for 15 or 30 minutes fits wonderfully into my schedule. I have already noticed my entire body is toning up and really losing those unwanted pounds! Staff is EXCELLENT!! The retail is ADORABLE!! Just woooooow!! :D

The staff at this location is literally the best!! I absolutely feel like I'm family every time I walk in the door!! This is the best facility I have been to they always greet me and all my friends with a hello and a smile and always asking how our day was. Couldn't ask for a better team!! They are definitely the reason I joined. I have a very demanding and stressful job so when I come in the workout it's self is a stress reliever but the staff always puts a smile to my face. I am obsessed with HOTWORX, and especially the Creve Coeur studio!!! The employees and owners are soo sweet and always welcome members in with a smile! They also make you feel at home, by creating a relationship with you. I love that I can come in and sweat it out for either 15 or 30 minute classes on my own time 24/7! Coming from someone who is intimidated by a typical gym setting, HOTWORX is the perfect environment for me, and I have come to LOVE working out all thanks to this studio!
