Professional, friendly and caring. My child has been attending Inspirations’s Academy for 10 years. Three years with the competition team and this was her first year in theatre theatre program. The teachers are so patient and knowledgeable. We love Inspirations.

When looking for a dance class for my two-year old, I found Inspirations Academy offered a TuTwo Twirl class, where most don’t offer classes until 3-4 yrs old. It’s perfectly paced for a beginning dancer/tumbler. My daughter throughly enjoys Mrs. Nicole’s class and looks forward to it each week. I like the fact Mrs. Nicole also has patience for the sometimes tired, scared, or tantrum throwing 2-3 yr olds. She rolls with it and doesn’t place harsh expectations from them, which that age needs. My daughter loves showing her dance moves off to friends & family and looks forward to her recitals. We couldn’t be happier.

Years ago, I would've rated this place higher, but in the last few years it has become apparent that the owner values making money over quality of business and relationships with the kids. Dance is no longer her sole focus, and unfortunately it shows. Staff members have been dishonest on several occasions, and policies will nickle and dime you to death. Sorry to have to leave this way, but kids should be valued more than any financial bottom line.

My daughter has ten plus years at the studio. Ive watched her grow not just in her dancing , but her self esteem, confidence , and support for her peers , She has learned so many more more important things other than just learning to be a great dancer. My favorite thing about inspirations is not only do we take pride in building our studio peers up but we also do a great job in supporting fellow peers at other studios. You often here our girls compliment other girls whom they don’t even know when we are at competitions instead of seeing the envy of them being better at something or having a prettier costume. My daughter first got started at Inspirations this past summer with a “My First Dance Camp,” and instantly fell in love and started regular classes a few months later. She is still loving her classes and I am loving the “family feel” that the studio provides. The staff truly cares for each and every one of their students. Our daughter has been going to Inspirations for going on 3 years now. I was apprehensive at first because our daughter is extremely shy. Her first class was with Miss Mary. Mary was so wonderful with her and not only got her to open up in class but, as time has went on our daughter has become less shy. I think her having such amazing dance instructors allowing her to open up and have fun with her peers has really helped with that! We drive from St Joseph and could easily choose another studio that's closer but I promise it's worth drive! Thank you IDC!!!

Friends, it's important to give feedback on experiences you have had with a business. Let me share mine with you.....10 months ago, I spoke with 'Mary' the presumed owner/manager of this dance studio. I asked that she help me and my soon to be husband with some dancing for our wedding in Oct 2017. She delightfully accepted and we had a pleasant discussion of what I wanted- even down to the songs/style of music. Since the wedding was several months away, she specifically instructed me to call back in Aug of 2017 (this month) to get it scheduled because it would take a little bit of time to learn the dances.

So I did....in fact, I just got off the phone with her. Boy that didn't turn out the way I expected. Let me tell you what we discussed.......I reminded her that I was the one who called last year and was ready to set up my classes...and she agreed that she remembered speaking with me.

However, NOW I find out that she has no one to teach 'adults ball room dancing' AND that I should know that adult dancing is NOT their businesses focus (and apparently has never been, but I am just finding this out now?!).... well, unless you happen to be lucky and have a teacher present at that time that wants to teach it.

Gosh, Mary it would have been nice to know this information last year, UP FRONT so I could have scoped someone else out and not been disregarded at the last minute that what you agreed to 10 months ago would not happen now (and of course no big deal to you).

It's not the way to run a business or treat potential customers. Honesty and transparency on our first call would have been much more appreciated and respected. I live in our small community and try to support local businesses, but I also share my experiences with others (whether good or bad).

And to the friends reading this, to top it off....at the end of our discussion, she promptly hung up on me after she was done speaking. Not a goodbye....nothing. I guess it was good that I didn't have anything else to ask or discuss........That was really the icing on the cake. I'd think twice about using this business. And, if you don't believe me, go ahead and google them. They only have a 3 star rating vs. many other dance studios in the area that range from 4-5 stars...no surprise there.......go figure.

And one last thing Mary....you might want to change your 'focus' ages on your advertisement to what you told me on the phone: kids-to 18 years .......you might want to remove 'adult'
