Lotus Care KC is a dedicated Yoga Therapy & Wellness Studio focused on teaching therapeutic yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, embodiment, meditation, myofascial health practices, modern pain science, stress recovery & preventative health. We offer small group classes, private sessions, massage therapy, acupuncture & a variety of bodywork. Infrared Sauna Therapy is included in our memberships.
We are a highly-skilled team of IAYT-Certified Yoga Therapists, Yoga & Meditation Teachers, Licensed Massage Therapists, Acupuncturist, Healing Practitioners, Reiki Master, RN & Holistic Educators. We partner with your healthcare team to support your healing & well-being.

I walked in with very limited yoga experience in 2023. I now happily consider myself a yogi. All of the instructors here are fantastic and they all take the time to help you get the most out of your session. I love my early morning classes with the Amys. I recommend the Wall classes to anyone interested in wanting to "just check it out," it's super fun! I came because of foot, back and neck pain. After my Thai Yoga Session with Julianne she recommend at least one class a week to help resolve my issues. After about 6 months I definitely started to notice a difference. I now attend 3-4 classes a week and feel a million times better. I can definitely notice a difference when I take time off. They offer different levels memberships that make it super affordable. Lotus Care isn't just a yoga studio, it's a yoga community full of loving, caring, awesome people. I'm so thankful to be a part of it.

Lotus Care is a tranquil studio with fantastic instructors. As a beginner, I found Rachel’s Tai Chi Chih class inviting and so enjoyable. They’re very experienced, knowledgeable, and such a great teacher. I have issues with balance and they were able to tailor the movements to make them more accessible to me. Meanwhile, the experienced students were just as engaged. After the class I felt invigorated, relaxed, and very hungry! Highly recommend!

I have been attending Lotus Care for over a year. It is a phenomenal place to practice yoga. I have learned so much about my body and self care. I had knee replacement surgery in October and it was this surgery that introduced me to a new aspect of Lotus Care. I saw Julianne for a one-on-one session because I was struggling with so much pain from the surgery. After our session, the pain went from a 7 on the pain scale to a 1. She was able to show me how to care for my much neglected leg muscles and to gain more mobility. I am so grateful for the care I received. It was a significant moment in my recovery. I cannot recommend enough.

I can't speak highly enough about Lotus Care KC. I mainly attended restorative/therapeutic yoga classes, as I'm recovering from a back injury. I am grateful to the instructors and community at Lotus Care KC, all of which were very welcoming and patient with me as a rookie. The restorative classes significantly improved my pain levels and mobility after the first 1-2 sessions. Additionally, the breathing exercises make short work of stressful work days, and I can fall right to sleep after an evening yoga class. The quality of life changes I've experienced in my last six months at Lotus Care are well worth the cost and time investment.

I’m began my journey with Lotus Care KC in December and quickly fell in love with the smaller, intimate classes and community.
Julianne is truly a gifted teacher and healer. Her Thai massages have helped me and countless others gain mobility, strength and awareness in our bodies.
As a “Full Lotus” member, I have been able to enjoy unlimited yoga, infrared sauna and monthly body work services.
Each teacher and provider has amazing talent and expertise & I haven’t had an experience I didn’t benefit from.
My absolute favorite day at Lotus Care included a Thai massage with Julianne at 1pm, followed by an hour in the sauna and Yoga Wall 2 with Prema at 4pm. During class my body was able to hold a “reverse butterfly” pose while I trusted Prema to assist me. I was being held literally and figuratively and skipped for JOY out of that class!
Oh, and I’ve had the chance to connect with some amazing students along the way. All good vibes and an open, safe space to call my yoga home. 🪷

I was new to yoga in January, I attended one class with Julianne and I was hooked, I enrolled in the monthly unlimited yoga membership. I absolutely love it, yoga has changed my strength, balance, and body image. Wall fascia is my favorite class. Julianne, Prema, Amy and Kristin are amazing, helped me with learning yoga in general and tuning in on bettering the techniques.

No one could resolve my issue until I met Julianne at LotusCare KC in Gladstone. Ohmygosh, my hips and shoulders feel so much better after experiencing her expertise. I have had these pains for years and her work absolutely helped me. The way she combines her nursing background with Thai massage and yoga therapy was just amazing for me. I will be back soon to try the wall yoga and energy healing!

I loved my time at Lotus Care KC. The owner Julianne became a quick friend. She is very caring and knows her craft very well! I saw her a couple times for yoga therapy and I have gone to several yoga classes. The wall yoga is amazing but so is the stretching yoga. It immediately makes you feel better. She is very kind in her teaching and instruction. She makes you feel very comfortable!!

After attending Julianne’s neck/posture/spine workshop a couple years ago, I can testify that the practice and techniques worked wonders! I improved my posture, reduced my headaches by reducing how much weight my neck was carrying, my posture improved and naturally with yoga, became more flexible. My masseuse even noticed a difference in how relaxed my lower back became.
If you also get a chance to try the Thai Yoga Therapy, I highly recommend it as well.

I am so excited to see this professional yoga therapy studio with a great selection of classes and amazing talent of instructors opening in our area. My pain management and rehab specialist referred me to the rope wall for an injury several years ago. Julianne’s Therapeutic yoga and bodywork has been a wonderful compliment to physical therapy and honestly has provided better outcomes. It has kept me able to live an active lifestyle and continue doing the things I enjoy into retirement. Safe yoga helps me maintain the only body I have,move comfortably and breath deeply.

Lotus Care KC is a new & excitingly different place to experience steps toward wellness. I am drawn to the individualized and therapeutic ways of these yoga instructors, with small group instruction, different from the large group traditional class.
