About the Club

Our goal at Max1 is to create an atmosphere where athletes & adults reach their max potential through mentorship and elite training based on our philosophy, emphasizing speed, strength, agility and endurance. We offer services such as 1v1, small group, return-to-play from injury and remote/online training programs. Our performance staff has years of experience training athletes & adults of all ages, sports & levels of competition. We utilize our scientific based knowledge & data driven results to create training programs that will ensure you reach your max potential!

Matt has been a great asset in our daughter’s soccer journey. In the past, we only trained during the summer, but this year she transitioned to training while in season and you can see the progress and confidence on the field. Matt really understands long term athletic development and injury prevention. Jordyn, our daughter, appreciates the small group set up, tracking the progress, and his feedback-correcting her form. We are all excited to see where she will be a year from now.

Matt has been an incredible trainer for my daughter, Olivia, over the past two years. He played a huge role in helping her prepare for college soccer, and she is now in the best shape of her life. His training style really pushed her to improve her speed and endurance, and the results were amazing—she became so much faster and was fully prepared to take on the beep test with confidence.

Olivia absolutely loved working with Matt. She always looked forward to her sessions and his ability to motivate while still making training enjoyable made a big difference. As a parent, it’s been so rewarding to see how much she’s grown, both physically and mentally, through his guidance.

Heading into the summer, I was weak and recovering from my Tommy John Surgery. I hit up Matt not knowing what to expect. Right after my first session I knew that the workouts and his 1 on 1 coaching were gonna get me back to where I wanted to be. Matt’s focus on Speed/Change of direction and strength evolved my body and the output on the mound. I can say nothing but good things about Matt and his training. Simply put if you are looking for a strength and conditioning coach /specialist for your child(ren) regardless of their sport.... Matt Firth should be your first call. We have two student-athletes that have been working with Matt for sometime now. Our son plays college baseball, and our daughter is starting her Senior year in high school and plays volleyball both for her school and club.

Our son started working with Matt about a year before first of college, he had goals of becoming not only stronger, but more athletic and faster on the bases. The changes that we saw in our son's athletic performance far exceeded our expectations. His claim to fame is he was the first member of Matt's 20 mph club!

Our daughter started working with Matt shortly after her brother did, and she had similar goals of not only becoming more athletic, but she wanted to be come more agile. She also had a need to work specifically on a nagging shoulder issue. Again, the positive impact of working with Matt again exceeded our expectations.

Personally, I have worked with a lot of trainers over the years and large majority of them only focus on the task at hand. I can tell you first hand that Matt becomes not only invested in your child's athletic performance, but he becomes invested in them as a person and their overall development. To me this speaks volumes to the type of person Matt Firth is.

Coach Matt is as legit as they come. My daughter has worked with him for a couple of years now and he has not only fixed her form but well greatly improved her strength and speed. My daughter has trained with Matt Firth off and on for over a year. During just the first couple of weeks of training, a correction to her running form resulted in an immediate speed increase. 1st class training from Matt. He trained my son through high school and into his Division 2 baseball pitching career.
