We just had a birthday party here for our daughter. Kate was amazing. She made life way easier helping with everything from presents, to drinks, to cake. She was very sweet and friendly to all the guests. I wish there was an option for a little longer play time but other than that this was a home run

I did gymnastics here for 5 going on 6 years, but it was a while ago. I loved gymnastics with all my heart, but I should’ve stuck to it. One of the front desk ladies sometimes went down to watch, and ill i will say is she was the most degrading person i’ve ever seen to a 6 year old. I tried my hardest, I paid attention, but while the other kids could make many mistakes any singular flaw was pointed out. I was also once degraded for my weight (even though I was reasonably skinny). I hate to say the reason I quit my long term sport was because of a rude staff member, but it’s true.

We love this gym for open gym and birthday parties. The gym is clean and has the best set up we’ve seen locally, with an ample amount of stuff to do. I don’t have much experience with the staff at this point but will update once our kiddos start gymnastics.

Edit: We just had our first class with Jillian and I felt compelled to update. Our daughter was very nervous and I wasn’t sure if she’d participate. Jillian was so encouraging and kind and our daughter hopped right in. She ended up loving it! She walked out of the gym with a smile, a boost in confidence and excited to come back next week.

We have been to Mercury several times for other birthday parties and we were able to have my kid's birthday party here. the party was great, the kids loved the facility, and Kenzie was very helpful with our group. That part would get five stars. However, we had a less than pleasant experience with the management. Because of potential snow, we were told when we got to the party that all of the Sunday parties were moved to Saturday (since Mercury doesn't cancel, it is up to the parents). So instead of having an hour of private party time on the floor, we got thirty minutes. Then a group of 15+ 8 year olds joined in with our group of 3 and 4 year olds for the final 30 minutes before we had our private room for 30 minutes. I asked when the party was over for a discount because we did not have the private party we had reserved a few months in advance. This request was denied. They said we could have canceled when we were told about the change and that is why it was denied. What should I have done? Cancel my kid's birthday party 20 minutes before the other kids arrived and they also get to keep my deposit?

So if you book a birthday party with Mercury, hopefully it is not when there is poor weather or else you might be paying full price for 2/3 of the party you reserved.

Mercury Gymnastics is great! It is really a well run place, that produces some really good gymnasts. They also have a small, but wonderful, pre-school. Everyone who works at both the gym and the pre-school really know what they are doing.

We've done just about everything Mercury has to offer and I have no complaints at all. The gym is large, clean and the staff and coaches have been great. My kids love going there! My daughter would move in if she could, and my younger boys have so much fun at Fit and Fun Fridays!

Went here for my nieces birthday party yesterday and the party host little Miss Peppy Patty (unsure of her name) was just a bit too much. When my niece was opening her presents she began to pull the stuff out of the bags for her while her mother was standing right there. There was no reason for her to touch the gifts the way that she was. Then she kept telling my niece to tell everyone thank you for her gifts. Again both her parents were there so it was not necessary for her to grab things out of gift bags and trying to be the parent at the party. I do not recommend this place for birthday parties.

Came here many years ago for a church youth activity. There is quite a bit of gymnastics equipment allowed for folks to use. I have had several friends who bring their kids here and enjoy it. I think it is neat groups can come here for events (parties, etc) and that the gym can still cater to the needs of their students. Maybe one day this gym will produce the next Simone Biles 😄

Very organized, clean facility. My daughter goes for the unstructured playtime so I couldn’t speak as to the lessons (they are always full!), but the staff is great, the enrollment process is easy, and the COVID precautions (like the drop-off/pick-up process they’ve adopted in the last year) are an example of how they go above and beyond to take care of families. My daughter absolutely loves going to Mercury!

A great place to keep your kids busy. Big facility with lots of stuff to do on open gym nights. But if your looking to build your child’s skill set not so much. Our daughter was on a competitive team in Florida but was told she had to do recreational first. They said they would talk to the parents once a month but we have not heard any feedback. They put the kids through the same course every class to the point my daughter said she doesn’t want to go anymore because she is not being challenged and is not learning anything new. The instructors are high school kids who seem to just be going through the motions. My child craves a challenge and wants to learn more but this place has not talked at all about progression. We will be putting in our notice that we are leaving and looking for a new gym to get her into. Like I said before we will be back on PTA nights for open gym but she wants to go somewhere else to further her skills.

My daughter absolutely loved it here her first summer session. That’s why I give it 4 stars! My only concern is the fact that we tried to get into an evening class for fall and they were already full after a few days! We can’t do mornings because I have work and school! So we had to end up going somewhere else! However, her new instructor gave positive feedback and said she was advanced for her age! I gave credit to mercury! It’s just a little upsetting that I paid an annual enrollment fee in the summer for her not to be able to attend all year! However, if you can get a spot, they are worth your time! Thank you for giving my daughter her summer session and the break through to become a good little gymnast!

One of the better places to ha e your children learn the ropes, create new skills, hone in on what they want to do and much more. Very family friendly and always looking out for the community. Would recommend checking out for a night of play when it's open or for your child to be a participant on all levels, novice to traveling competition.

Simply the best open gym in the Northland. I’m a mom of two toddlers and my girls love coming here for Power Hour. Clean, well-kept, and they have coaches there to help. A bit expensive for just an hour of play. But in the days that we need more than an hour of play, we prefer going Fun Run in Liberty.

Not as pricy as some popular birthday go-tos, but only having 30 minutes for cake, drinks, and presents... it's tough and not enough. I think play time should be 45 minutes and the other 45 minutes should be presents and cake. Ideal if your guests have small children that use the floor and the adults sit back but when grandmothers etc show up it seems that they get kind go bored waiting for an hour before presents/cake happens.
