Probably the least well-maintained branch I've visited so far. The workout floor is great, machinery is fine. But the women's change rooms are below par. Old rickety lockers, missing hairdryers, one hand drier doesn't work, and worse of all, dirty showers with floors that hadn't been scrubbed in who knows how long...it takes a while for soap scum to build up. Disappointing.

I went in for a tour to help me decide if I would join or not. I think I'm going to pass. The women's locker room was disgusting. There was trash everywhere and it reeked of urine. There were also weird stains all over the floor that I don't even wanna know about.

I am not a gym goer by any means. I utilize the tanning beds and relaxation area. I would not have felt as comfortable if it wasn’t for Taris(z) I am sorry if I misspelled her name. She was like a family member ready to help and get me settled. She’s a peach! The other staff were just as nice. However, she had the touch. Thank you so much!

There are barcodes on every machine that tell you how to work the machines plus their people all around who will show you how to do it if you’re not able to do it on your own
Even when it’s the most crowded, you can get on the machine you want and it’ll only take a lil bit and then you get to rest yay

Never want to go there again as long as Dwayne “the manager” (light skinned male with long hair) works there. Since the day I walked in he’s given me some side eye look as if I stole his girlfriend or something dude’s weird and it’s because of him that I’m not stepping foot in that place again as long as he works there. Furthermore, just so people don’t get the wrong idea I address everyone as sir or ma’am unless we are on a first name basis and nobody at that gym can say otherwise. I treat people with respect and, like most people, get upset when I don’t get it in return. That man doesn’t know me and neither I him. So as to the reason why I get looks of such disdain I don’t know because outside of hey sir or have a nice day sir I don’t speak to that man and he don’t speak to me!

I started my Black Card membership here around 2019, and at some point, they started double-drafting my account. I called to ask about it and was told that nothing was wrong. I forgot about it for a while and dug into it recently at another Planet Fitness, and I was being charged twice monthly for the Black Card membership for several years. Place and staff is nice. Sometimes the guests are on their phones talking loud. Also staff doesn't enforce the 30 minute workout area rules.
Update.. well now they have taken out the 30 minute workout all together. At least 10 people that I know used this religiously.. no other location has done this because I called at least 5 locations. So ..well now I am at the florissant location. The staff isn't as friendly but they have what I meed even tho it's further away from.my home. Smh.

No Internet on the WiFi, sounds like nothing until you drain 70% of your battery trying to stream music. Message beds down for 2 weeks now. The good news, NOBODY IS THERE. No wait on any equipment ever. Last 3 times I was there, less than 10 people, including staff......who stand around doing the least possible.... including eye contact.

I've been to many different planet fitness locations and Ferguson's is BY FAR my favorite for a few reasons. When you walk in, the front desk associates actually greet you instead of sitting on the counter on their phones, annoyed every time a member walks in. (Yes, I'm talking about you, Overland.)

There are multiples of the same machine so you're not having to play hunger games for your turn at the leg press.

There's plenty of room and the equipment is spaced out perfectly. And the layout of everything makes sense! (Unlike the St. Peters location that literally put their synergy 360 unit right next to a damn wall...cause that makes sense?)

The paper towel dispensers actually have paper towels in them and the sanitizer bottles are actually filled! (I'm often having to hunt these down at other locations.)

Although these might seem like minor details, these can become inconveniences that eventually add up and have a huge effect on the overall experience.

10/10 prefer this location above many others in the St. Louis area.

I've been a member with this gym for a couple years and the times I've been to the gym were good. Most of the equipment is available and the facilities are well maintained.

Unfortunately, due to the rules within the gym, I cannot bring my family to the gym in order to use the locker room and bathroom. The reason my family needed to use the locker room was due to a pipe bursting in our house and flooding our home. As I am a member, I can use the showers and bathroom at the gym, but that does not extend to my child. Even under parental supervision, the gym will not allow my daughter to use the shower at the gym.

In short, if you're looking for a gym to work out, it has what you need. But if you're looking for a gym that has heartw ithin the community, I'd suggest looking somewhere else.

I came here with a friend as a guest. Left my Samsung Smart watch in the shower room and then when I called them back they said they found it and its in the safe.
When I send my friend to pick it up they said someone else came and picked it up.
I called them again next day and asked about the person who took it and they had no answer. After calling few times and email to the Planet fitness they were like sorry it was with the manager in his safe.
Again I send my friend to pick it up and they said the watch is not in the gym not giving us any reason.
I never got my Watch back. Pathetic service. Very disappointed

I do enjoy coming to.this gym but there are some things I don't care for: I don't like these gym hours especially for Friday. Also there is a locker in the men's area that's been stuck close for over a year. Lack of maintenance to the lockers. Never the less paper towels seem never replaced when out especially in the center of the gym. Staff too busy on their phones to check dispensers. Other than that I like this gym.

I joined PF when the Ferguson location opened up around 2016. I go to other locations but always revert back to my Ferguson PF. Although there are pros and cons to every location. Ferguson is home and feels homey and inviting.
If I could make one suggestion it would be that the personal trainer Tyler make classes fun and less redundant. He is a nice guy but not energetic or very engaged in his own sessions. This isn't meant to shade the trainer he just needs some training. So that members will want to take the classes and get the full benefit if their membership. At one time under the trainer Paco classes were packed because they were exciting. Paco was engaged and challenged us at our level. However. I love the environment, the location and the employees are really nice.
