As someone who has used both planet fitnesses nearby I prefer this one. It is smaller so it gets crowded faster but you can always check the app for crowds. The staff does a great job at keeping the gym clean and are all pretty friendly. Only complaint is they aren't 24/7 in this town anymore, hoping they go back to it.

The staff is great attentive, assertive, and even the owner handled a tough membership problem that I had because I was traveling from Wisconsin to Springfield for a week I didn't have my membership card keychain and my PF app never linked my home gym.... after working with the staff and the owner and proving my current membership they let me in to workout for the week I was in Springfield. When I got back to my home gym in Appleton they logged me out of the app set a new password logged back in and linked my account by my phone number previous attempts would never link the app but now we know and I hope the owner sees this because they were truly amazing and now we all know if we can't link our home gym on the pf app logout reset your pw and try again. Thanks again everyone in Springfield for your patience with this confusing situation where I wasnt discoverable in the pf system! You guys handled me great!

It's not bad. It would just be great for at least 1 planet fitness gym in Springfield, to be open 24hrs for those of us who do work nights. 4am/6am is just not early enough for me to be able to make it. And I pay for my membership. But I can't use it. It's disappointing say the least.

Great gym! Machines and overall gym are kept clean. All of the machines work. They gave me a tour of the gym when I first signed up which was very helpful to know where I can find things. Each machine has a QR code that you scan with your phone and it shows you how to properly use that machine, which is awesome. Employees are kind and welcoming. Always greeting and smiling. Just an overall awesome gym!

I've been to over 15 gyms from this company, but this one hits different.
The vibe here is super chill and homey.
Locker rooms? Spotless.
All the machines are in top-notch condition and working perfectly.
The staff? Mad friendly and welcoming.
Totally recommend checking it out.
So far, this spot is #1 on my personal Planet Fitness ranking.
They just need to throw in some new chest machines, and it’d be fire.

I am training at this gym since may last year and never had a problem, but today when I was training somehow the assistant manager, named Phil, had a problem with the way I was training.

He came at my with a threatening attitude and told me to “ stop smashing the weights “ even if everyone else was “ samshing” them around me but I was the only one he came at.

I would like to be contacted by support team to talk about this employee behaviors and the training he had because I am sure that is not how is supposed to act.

Lovely gym in an excellent location with excellent staff. Typical to Planet Fitness, the locker room was freezing cold. The shower I used had a wonky handle and it was hard to determine how to even get the hot water to run. I can't imagine showering there in the winter!

The 15$ a month is a lie and they will upcharge you along with the 80$ charge. Then when you cancel they will charge you another 26$ because they wanna put you in the last month too.

I'm a newer member. I recently did the design your workout. I was amazed at the time and effort the trainer, Jess, put into this. She was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I'm just starting out, so I know absolutely nothing. Despite this Jess made me feel comfortable and welcome. Because of her, I feel like I'm on the road to better health. They needed my bank account to sign up. Now that I'm trying to cancel, they need a physical written letter in the mail! Yeah it's a low priced subscription but they screw you over to make up for it. The monthly is 10$ per month but they make you pay 6 times that as a sign up fee.

I am a member of the Planet Fitness gym on North Kansas Expy. I am a 65 year old woman who is in treatment for breast cancer. I always feel welcome, never judged and that is so important to me. This facility is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the equipment is functional. I appreciate the diversity of the staff, and the members. I have asked for and received training on specific machines and they were kind and knowledgeable. Absolutely a 5 star experience for me and I’m 3 months into my membership. This is an important resource for my health. So glad I joined.

All the employees at this planet fitness are kind and quick to offer help if you need it. They help create an atmosphere that fosters inclusion and encourages all people to begin or continue their fitness journeys. I frequently recommend planet fitness, and specifically this location, to everyone both experienced lifters and especially people just starting out. The affordability, positivity of the staff, and variety of machines with easy to use diagrams would make a person who’s never lifted before feel more comfortable taking the next fitness steps. If you’re a more experienced lifter they’ve got smith machines and dumbbells with enough weights to handle most peoples strength training needs.

NOT like all the other PFs I travel to on my Black Card Membership! Low customer pop is good cuz no wait on machines. But... staff didn't know how to operate this different model screens than I'd seen before. From 3 mins less on reg 10 mins aqua lounger times... hair balls & dirt cover tanning beds that I requested re-cleaned... to lack of locker room amenities like air fresheners, wall mount blow dryer & shower safety matts.
Tho this location is in a hub part of city/state where ppl steal food off pick-up shelves & trash collection items at restaurants... sooooo... this PF may have been victims to that kinda crime & therefore must limit items openly available to members... just say'n

This place has soo many run arounds and excuses when you ask to cancel a membership. It's a good gym, clean and the employees are polite and considerate. But if you ask to cancel your membership because of financial issues, they literally DO NOT CARE, they (the company and their standards, not employees) they will continue with the harassing phone calls, and they will keep debating your account, even after you try to cancel. This is the absolute WORST business model ever. Soo, with that being said, I want to clarify, that the people who work there are awesome and polite. I understand they gotta follow protocol. But the corporation is garbage and they feel as if they couldn't care less about us.

Staff is totally clueless on how sign up works, and then a year later I find out they are even more clueless on how cancelation works.
They only allow direct access to your checking, the app is a nightmare to get set up if you have ever had a membership in the past or are trying to use the free teen summer program, and cancelation is literally right on the edge of illegal with how difficult they make it. Don't believe me, just Google planet fitness cancelation and read page after page of horror stories.

I know it's cheap and you want to be healthy, but I strongly recommend finding a place that doesn't do everything they can to squeeze ever last penny from you and make it near impossible to get them out of you checking account.

The staff is awesome there. They are so kind and welcoming. It not usually too busy there, which makes working out so much better. My friend and I are going together and have been able to kick some butt with our workouts here. They offer so many different machines and weights. I love the atmosphere here and they play great music too (in case your headphones die or don’t wanna work)

The locker room for the women, always looks clean and so does the rest of the gym.

Love that I've been here a little over a year and I've lost 85lbs the equipment is in good clean condition staff is always friendly and helpful when having questions. The only thing I would change is on the app not all the floor equipment is listed and I'm not able to figure out how to add some of them or my time and etc other then that I love all of it.
