I really love visiting Planet Fitness in Washington! The gym equipment is in great condition and makes workouts enjoyable. The women’s locker rooms are always clean and well-maintained, which I truly appreciate. The tanning beds are new, and they change the bulbs regularly — something I wish was done at my previous Planet Fitness in Springfield, MO.

The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. Austin, in particular, is like a ray of sunshine in the evening when I come to work out. He’s always very kind, cheerful, and ready to help. On days when I’m tired and not really feeling motivated, his positive attitude really inspires me to keep going.

Overall, I’m very happy with my experience here and highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a friendly and well-maintained place to stay active!

Update: I have been going back to this location now for another 30 days. In this 30 day period They have seem to figure out how to schedule their machines for red light therapy. I have spoken with regional manager and local managers and they assured me, they are working to fix the problem . I leave this update because I do believe they do genuinely care and are addressing the issue. Hard for me to raise it to a five star, because of the issues that were there. But it is much much much improved.

I have been working out at planet fitness in Washington, Missouri for three weeks now. I’ve exclusively done the 30 minute express workout and it does provide me with a good workout. However, I started using the red light therapy bed, and the Hydro lounge Ayres after my workout. You have to sign up for these services when you walk in and I do sign up for a 740, and an 8 o’clock.

At 7:41 they had already given my appointment away to another guest. This is the second time in a row. This has happened with me in the building walking towards the desk from the 30 minute express room. The woman at the counter has no explanation why they would give it away. She just said I’m sorry mistakes happen. Well that’s not good enough people are on their own schedules, and I have things that are important to me to do, so I can’t sit and wait an extra 20 minutes while someone else uses the machine that I have reserved for that specific timeslot. Shame on planet fitness in Washington Missouri. Sounds like they need some new staff with some common sense and customer service skills. Will not be back!!! Time to find a new gym.

The fact that you're right next door to Starbucks is a huge win for me!! But then I went inside and I still can't believe it's two stories with an elevator. The showers are wonderful it gives you a little section to kind of get your life together before you walk out of it and I really liked that about it!! 10/10

Tanning beds need to be maintained. I went today and half of the buttons were not functional. Face tanner could not turn off or even down. Start button is half ripped off. Bulbs definitely need changed out.

Really sweet staff. The ladies in the front are the absolute best. A guy just sat there playing on a tablet, and the other guy was learning. Didn't get to finish my tour bc of an emergency with my daughter..

UPDATED. Everyone at the counter is full on attention. If you're to tan, you must recheck in. I'm guessing it's bc the gov only will allow you to tan no more that a 24 hour period... So I guess that computer check in counts your 24 hours down. So sick of the giv butting in EVERYEHERE, it's almost Commys.

I give it five stars from the last time only ever had issue once with young Guy on days however when I went in late at night Becca is there and she is very nice Alex on days she also stands out she has also been very nice and knowledgeable actually all the staff there has been great except for that one guy who wanted to argue with me last time I was there boy I wish I could remember his name (I think he was a manager kind of tall black brownish curly hair) during the day, hence the reason why I canceled my membership. I shopped around and for the price the beds are decent I didn't realize tanning had gotten so expensive as with everything else in this world. But I would still always pay more to be treated with respect, understanding and courtesy

Beds suck. You think they're good until you go somewhere else and realize how weak their bulbs and beds are. Not to mention half the time they are malfunctioning or broke don't walk back there and then find out your bed is because you won't get your time back Interstellar compromise the gentleman would rather argue with you I can't remember his name I think it's Gill I don't know but anyways all the other staff was great very friendly and courteous and if I ever had an issue they were sure to rectify it instead of wanting to stand there and argue with me the customer who pays SMH seems like that's a common occurrence nowadays in customer service establishments

My husband and I have been visiting Planet Fitness Washington MO, for over a year. For the most part our visits have been pleasant. Tonight my husband and I wanted to use the tanning salon. For the first time in over a year, I was asked if I had eye wear. I thought I did however I change purses frequently and they were in my old purse. I told him I did because I genuinely thought I did. He asked for me to show him!! Keep in mind there was a lobby full of guests and I felt like he was calling me a liar in front of a lobby full of people. If that wasn’t bad enough, I go back to the bed I was assigned to, to find a dirty bed!
I think all of this could have been handled way different and I’m contemplating canceling not only my but my husbands membership as well.
I wish I asked for the “gentlemen’s “ name but I didn’t, he was the only one wearing a black planet fitness polo and seemed to be more excited about discussing what he and his buddy would be ordering from door dash then cleaning equipment for new guests! Do better Planet Fitness!

I'm here from another state visiting family and have frequented this facility in the weeks I've been staying and this is by far the best Planet Fitness I have visited. The staff was super friendly and the facility was very clean. The tanning experience was my favorite, plenty of beds to choose, ranging from standard lay down beds, stand up, bronzer and hybrid beds! I have highly enjoyed my experience at Washington, MO Planet Fitness! Thank you 😊
*** side note: my home facility does not clean up after patrons.. black card members clean tanning beds (which are old and out of date) & hydro beds themselves. Most times you will observe employees on their phones or sitting on counters.

First of all, the staff is AMAZING! They are incredibly welcoming and friendly! They take the time to learn our names and greet my wife and I when we walk in! There is always one or more staff cleaning and they are extremely thorough! Even the manager gets out there cleaning and making sure everything is spotless! I tried to cancel before getting charged for July. I went in and the nice male associate said i needed to cancel between the 10th and 16th. It was the 16th. I was told i still could not cancel for this month and to email Alax Hickman, the general manager, who could help me. I immediately emailed Alax and received no response for over a week. He ignored me. So why would i ever recommend this place or sign up again?

Nice gym. Out of the dozen Planet Fitness locations throughout the country I’ve used, this location was the best thus far. Large (2 stories), open, clean, and newish machines with no rips or noticeable wear on benches and seats. The bathroom was large with large numerous showers. On Monday at 10am, it was pretty empty.

I love the facilities and equipment. Just don't like the hours. They are effective, though, for working hours. I was just headed there after 7 on Saturday and Sunday thinking they were open until 9. They discriminated against me and my daughter on the spectrum I checked in and checked in my guest and had my other daughter with me that I already signed a waiver form a year ago that I was allowed to do so and Alex the new manager threatened to call the cops on me.. I've been going there and taking both of my girls to the gym I have multiple witnesses that this has been happening and they allowed me to do it signing a waiver as well she threatened to call the cops.. I feel very discriminated And without them even knowing they were looking at my daughter that was disabled and screaming at her saying that she needs to check in and they had not absolutely no idea that she was low verbal and was unable to communicate back to them.. very hateful and rude . Then they tried to sign up my daughter that's on the spectrum a membership through her adult disability insurance and they had no idea how to do it. It was such a mess I was so upset and I just walked out I've been going there for so long and doing this and Alex was so rude so disrespectful so hateful and they were grumbling and mumbling under their breaths..

First time at this planet fitness while I was in town. I worked out, used a tanning bed and a hydromassage lounge. Employees were all actively cleaning and the place was impeccable. Pleasant staff and efforts are clear for safety when I first met them.. since signing up, every month is a billing issue and lies exposed.. didn't hold true to what was communicated during the sign up. Very regretful for recommending others to look into it. This last month they charged double the agreed amount, up until now only a few dollars more.
