As a cardio addict I was reluctant to start strength training. My only regret is not starting here sooner. The coaches make it fun and the small gym environment is not intimidating for someone new to lifting.

Awesome gym with excellent trainers who are very educated and care about your goals and your progress! I’ve tried every boot camp and big gym in town and RNS has helped me be in the best shape of my (long) life ;) All ages and fitness levels will be challenged and excel. Bonus: their own app for easy scheduling

I could not be happier that my husband and I made the decision to start using River North’s training. We have been working out with Ryan S. (and occasionally other trainers) for well over a year. Ryan does an excellent job keeping us engaged, finding our strengths, understanding our weaknesses and encouraging us to work harder. The consistency of our appointments and the well planned & whole body workouts with the best equipment are just a few of the things we love about River North!!

If you are looking for a trainer that gives you a well-rounded workout, pays attention to your form and always helps to move you towards being stronger and more fit, this is the gym for you. There are 4 trainers in this gym and they are all fabulous and make you feel welcome and actually make working out fun! They have hours that can work with anyone's schedule. Give yourself this gift and give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

RNS has the best strength coaches. They are incredibly motivating and educating. They explain each workout in depth and they form each workout to fit their clients’ needs. They have helped me reach goals I didn’t know were possible, and I’m more confident in my self and my abilities than ever before. The space is always clean and you are able to shower after (they also have things like face wash and spray deodorant that you can use if you forget your own!) Highly recommend this facility!

My family started going to RNS a few months ago and I have been so impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism and personal support each trainer provides. The trainers all have athletic backgrounds, are highly educated in their field and are very conscientious of safety and proper form. I love the clear instruction and effectiveness of RNS training sessions. My teen son loves working out at RNS! He had never worked out in a gym prior to this experience and his strength, flexibility and coordination have all improved. The trainers are kind and not intimidating and make things fun and engaging. I wouldn’t trust just any gym for teens but I definitely feel RNS is safe and supportive. The trainers are positive role models for my son, as well. Super clean facility, convenient location and tons of options for appointment times. App on my phone makes scheduling easy for multiple people, family members all linked to one account. All welcome, all abilities, no judgement!

It's amazing what the trainers at River North Strength can do in 50 minutes! They are continually keeping the workouts fresh with varied exercises and good banter. I can tell a marked improvement over my self-directed workouts at a local gym. My only regret is not signing on earlier. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As an international athlete, I learned quickly that strength training with a coach who understood technique and knew how to tailor training to what each athlete needed for their training, was imperative. When my family moved to St Louis, I checked out a few other gyms and was not sure I would find that here...until I found River North. I have absolutely loved working with the team there, and have seen big improvements, not just in my strength, but how my body works cohesively as one unit. Strongly recommend!

River North Strength has been a wonderful addition to my fitness/wellness routine. As an active person who has always played sports and worked out, I thought I knew the best way to workout. After my initial consult with Ryan I knew I was in for a change. A change in my physical ability, and a change in my knowledge of how to lift/workout correctly. The workouts are always changing....keeping them fun and engaging, and the trainers are very attentive to my form and pushing me just enough (but not too much) to help me improve. They are more than equipped to train people who are already in good shape, and those that are just starting that journey....no matter the age, size and ability.

Started working out at River North Strength in June 2022 after a few years at a franchised work-out facility, mixed with local gym time and the changes have been amazing. It's a much more tailored and thoughtful program than any I've experienced since my (long ago) high school days that works for any level athlete--even us regular people! Highly recommend!

If you want to get in a real workout in a proven and effective way, this is it. Worth every penny. Not a typical gym or crossfit gym. No experience needed and Ryan has been super easy to work with, glad I gave it a shot.

Way more than a circuit/HIIT workout, this is legit strength training that is personalized and supervised to address your current ability and goals. In and out in 50 minutes, it's focused, hard work that will make you stronger. Ryan's knowledge, skills and energy are awesome! Plus, brand new facility (with showers!) and convenient location. Worth the investment.
