We were going to be new students, they are super nice by phone, but when we got there no one help register us. I asked a teacher in the studio, she identified herself as a teacher, and said she would go find someone who could help us. We were there almost 20 min waiting, an older lady cane out just said hi and went around doing stuff. My daughter was looking forward to her first dance class, shes 5, but honestly the people there couldn’t care less to help new students, or at least it was my experience. It wasn’t until I got my kids to walk out the door that the older woman said did you need any help? It was a very disappointing experience.

I was initially happy after enrolling my daughter in recreational tumbling at Ronda’s. It seemed like a great transition for her from acro at her old dance studio. As time went by I noticed a few things I didn’t like, but I let those things slide because they were little things.

Then one night a male coach body-shamed my 10 year old. She didn’t tell me right away, but when she did I was fuming. I sent an email that same night (12/15/23) and asked to receive a response from the owner.

I understand it’s my child’s word against the coach, but I will absolutely, EVERY time, believe my daughter when she tells me about ANY interaction with an adult concerning her body.

She is a child. She is growing and developing physically, mentally, and emotionally. She doesn’t need a grown man in a position of authority criticizing her body. Children develop self-confidence issues quite naturally, just from being around their peers and watching TV. Comments from adults should be encouraging and helpful, not insulting. Especially from coaches!!

The thing that makes me the most angry is that no one ever responded to my email. I emailed again (12/22/23), called and left a message (1/5/24), and even sent a message through the website. I don’t understand why at the very minimum, SOMEONE from the studio hasn’t responded that they are sorry about our experience. Complete silence is an insult, not to mention extremely unprofessional, and an unacceptable way to run a business.

In hindsight I wish I had pulled my daughter out sooner. They have very poor communication skills if you ever find yourself needing to speak with someone. Also, children are allowed to walk out with anyone. There’s no one checking to make sure they’re with the correct adult — or even with an adult at all. I had hoped that would improve after they moved to their new location, but it did not. It has never felt like a safe place to leave my child and I cannot recommend Ronda’s to anyone because of that and my daughter’s negative experience with her coach.

Love this studio! My daughter has been dancing for 5 years, we have been with this studio for a year and a half now and she has learned so much in that time then she has anywhere else! The teachers are amazing and love all the kids! I couldn't ask for a better studio!

Absolutely amazing studio! So positive and so much support! We are so thankful to have found Ronda's and would recommend it to anyone! *Update- getting ready to start our 6th year with the studio (hard to believe!!!) I grew up dancing and doing acrobatic gymnastics at Ronda’s and now I have 3 little girls doing the same! It has been such a wonderful studio to be a part of we couldn’t ask for a better experience! The teachers and staff are highly trained and each child gets individual attention to learn and grow.

We love Ronda's! Our little one has been attending since she was 3 years old! Over the past 3 years she has grown so much and has learned the value of teamwork, persistence, and what it means to work hard to get great success! The coaches are amazing and always go out of their way to make the kids feel safe and valued! We would highly recommend!

Just finished our first acro competition season and are SO HAPPY we made the move. The coaches and owner really take the time to find your athletes strengths and truly build their potential. Our 8 year old literally said it was a life changing experience. Don’t hesitate! It’s sad thinking we wasted so much time elsewhere

We’ve had 3 children grow up through this studio & on competition teams, and one currently an athlete there now! It has been an amazing experience for all! My children have grown with their technique & love of both dance & sports acro! The teachers & coaches & staff here value & care for your children & want to see them succeed in all they do!!

We have been at CJ Dance Crew for 2 years now. I can't say enough good things about this studio. I've been to several studios in blue springs and never felt my daughters dance education was advancing to where it should be. Crystal is an amazing person and coach. She pushes them to be not only good dancers but good people. She believes in them when they doubt themselves. The Dance moms are great as well and we've both made tons of friends, it's not like the Dance moms you see on TV. Everyone truly wants what's best for every athlete rather it's your child or someone else's. My only regret is we didn't find this studio sooner. If you are looking for a dance studio you won't be disappointed and Everyone makes you feel welcome. #OurHomeAwayFromHome

Such a great place! My daughters love going to their classes here. The staff is all so friendly and the studio is so clean. I love that they have so many classes available for the girls to take. My daughters have been attending for the last 4 years and love it. I’m amazed by their growth. My youngest is a member of the competitive team. Her instructors have all been professional and fun…not to mention really talented. I really appreciate how dedicated the whole team is to giving kids a solid foundation, building confidence, and providing them with a lifelong love of dance and acro.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a school.

My daughter started with CJ in August and I can't believe her growth in that amount of time! Her level of dance has grown in leaps and bounds as well as her confidence in herself. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming and professional. The coaches also teach the girls to be respectful and responsible. I'm excited for what the future with CJ will bring!

My daughter has been going to Ronda's since we moved here in 2017. We could not ask for better tumbling and dance coaches or owners. She is part of the CJ Dance Crew competitive team and there is no comparison!! Best studio hands down!

If you are looking for Dance, Acro or Tumbling for your kiddos, you should try this studio. We started with the Rec classes and my 7 year old daughter has moved up to competitive. The coaches are professional and amazing at what they do. My daughter has been taught exceptional technique, but also she has gained so much confidence. I would highly recommend you stop by and try out a class.

This studio, all of its coaches, dancers and dance families are amazing! If you're looking for a studio as am introduction this is great, if you're looking to be one of the BEST in KC, this is it! Not only are our coaches and dancers THE BEST, but all the families are extremely welcoming, and very supportive. Not to mention, our Production is UNDEFEATED!! Ronda is amazing with Acro, cheer and tumbling and CJ, Chelsea, and Jessica ROCK IT on the dance side!!!!! Come try it out. You won't regret it!

This place is so unorganized. Our 3 year old went to trial a class, was instructed to come back in 2 weeks to sign up. In the meantime, I filled out the online waiver to be a step ahead. Upon arriving 2 weeks later, my daughter all dressed up and excited to dance, I was rudely greeted and had to fill out the form yet again because they lost it. They helped numerous people before us and my 3 year old is sitting there crying because she missed her class. They could have taken the poor girl back but instead we were ignored and told we had to wait. Horrible customer service, very unorganized, would never recommend.
