Owner Eric Moss is unethical and a creep. He charged me for a year while out for hip surgery and refused to refund my HSA. I thought my membership was on hold the entire time. Beware!!! He also charged my girlfriend for 3 months even after she showed him a text from the manager saying she didnβt have to pay if she didnβt like it.

Starting my 3rd year working out at Spenga Des Peres Mo. and in all my years at different fitness platforms I have to say I love the whole body workout I get here more then anywhere else!
I see and feel so much leaner and stronger.
You get it all! Cardio with Resistance biking, strength training and finishing with yoga for flexibility!
The owners are friendly and accommodating to your personal needs and each trainer is encouraging and motivating. You will love it here! GIve it a try!

I have been going to Spenga 3-4 times a week for over a year. I love the welcoming environment! There is a new workout every time and the mix of cardio, strength, and yoga has really helped me to see improvements in my overall health. All of the instructors are so welcoming and encouraging. All fitness levels can feel comfortable here!

I have done a lot of workouts in my adult life, but Spenga has been one of my absolute favorites. The combination of spinning, strength and yoga is perfect for me! I have taken classes with most of the instructors at this location. Each brings something special to their classes and all of them push you to be the best you can be! GIVE IT A TRY! You will not regret it!

Looking forward to the journey - got a long way to go, but I'm up for the challenge. The pace, the variety, the assistance to power through my werk outs, the staff is ridiculously supportive & fun to work out with! Finally no dread heading to the gym. I really would not even call it a gym. The experience truly is unique. Keep doing what your doing and I will keep coming back!

I initially joined to train for a huge event, and I was a member for about eight months. They helped me achieve most of my goals, so I continued my membership to train for other big events. I thought they were great until I had an injury and then my impression of them drastically changed. THE GOOD: The trainers were great and the place was clean. The combination of strength training, yoga, and cardio is a fantastic concept. THE BAD: The problem arose when I injured my shoulder. I contacted them about freezing my account, and was told that I needed a note from my doctor to put my account on hold. Seriously? I should have just cancelled my membership immediately. My next DRs appointment was over 3 months away, and I hoped to be able to return to the gym before that. When I realized the injury would keep me out of the gym longer than expected, I decided to cancel my account instead of waiting for my next DR appointment. Thatβs when I found out that they would charge me for the month AFTER I dropped my membership. Just to clarify: If you join this gym, you WILL be charged for the month AFTER you leave. That seems pretty shady to me. With so many great gyms in the area, itβs not a good idea to treat customers this way.

This is an amazing studio. Donna and Mimi are excellent instructors. Both are very friendly and accommodating. I recently had the opportunity to be apart of their first 90 minute session. I think they pair really well together. They brought the energy and enthusiasm. I personally loved the 90 minute because I am then held accountable, for a full 90 minutes. If I were in a regular gym, I would probably just end up on the treadmill for an hour and leave. I love not having to plan my workouts. I use Class Pass to visit Spenga and this is by far my favorite studio that I have visited. You never have the same workout, they are always keeping you on your toes. If you are worried about cleanliness, I would be comfortable eating off their floor. I give Spenga a 10/10

Truly an overall great experience. I was greeted with warm welcomes by all the staff members. I immediately was shown the ropes so there was no uneasy feelings of what I was supposed to be doing or where to go. It took all the nerves out of going to a new gym. Everyone was friendly and encouraging. The workout was fantastic and well rounded. I canβt recommend this enough.

Such a good workout and the hour goes by so fast because you do 3 different things. 20 minutes spinning, 20 minutes fitness/strength training, and finally 20 minutes of yoga. Every workout is different. The gym is so nice and super clean. Thank you Spenga!

I absolutely love my Spenga classes!! Spenga has the perfect balance of butt kicking cardio, to a variety of strength training methods and then the wonderful cool down of yoga! Itβs my most favorite form of working out I have ever been apart of. Not only is the structure of the workout amazing, but the instructors are all so friendly, talented and attentive to form. I have loved every instructor that Iβve had!! I highly recommend Spenga if you want the full body workout experience!

I do feel great when I leave.....I lost some time over the holidays but going to make an effort to be more committed. Ive had classes I loved and some that were just too hard. I love the yoga that focuses more on stretching and balance and cool down after 40 minutes of hard work on the bike and strength training. It is a great combination of working out and the people are friendly and make you feel welcome.

For the Spinning phase, their bike pedals can handle regular sneakers on one side or clipless (Shimano SPD) bike shoes on the other side. I also like how Spenga automatically increases your "Sweet Spot" (measured in Watts) as your endurance and strength improve.
Each class is led by an in-house live instructor for all phases. That being said, for the Strength phase, I really like how Spenga also provides you with on-screen demos of each weight exercise after the instructor shows you what is expected for the current session. They also provide you with your own set of free weights to manage (a nice perk during COVID).
The Yoga phase is my favorite. Although I was embarrassed at how stiff my body was on Day 1 and how little I knew about Yoga, I'm becoming more flexible every session. Spenga even supplies the mat!
Spenga keeps the number of people in a class low for social-distancing purposes and cleans everything before and after each class.
Its worth every penny if you're serious about getting better.
