Great experience here! They have all of the equipment you need, super friendly staff, and they took care of myself and my coworkers on our short visit this week. We came here three days in a row!

If I could, I would give this place zero stars! I recently moved to St. Louis on Friday 8/16, I called this place today 8/19 at 10:45am to ask how much memberships are because they don’t have that information online, and the woman on the phone immediately hung up on me. If this is how they treat potential paying customers, I would hate to see how they treat their current paying customers.

This place was awesome... St. Louis was rough, but this place was a diamond within. If I had to visit that city again, I'd spend most of my time at this gym. It's spacious, has almost EVERYTHING & incredibly affordable drop-in price. The gym was clean, the locker room was clean. It's awesome how it's all on different levels of an old parking garage.

Everything you want in a gym. Great friendly staff. Very clean. All the weights and equipment you need for any level of fitness. Steam room, clean bathrooms. Also, I love the garage feel.

This is one of only two places in downtown STL that are open on Saturday and Sunday. Big problem, the other place didn't answer the phone and doesn't know how to return voicemails.

With that out of the way, I've only been training there a week. It's pretty cool, two power cages, even a cambered bar, three flat bench press stations, and two incline bench stations. I don't need much, but I'll say it's worth the $45/month with that steam room. I don't know about the female side since I'm a guy.

I'm glad I chose this place since it's walking distance for me. I think more people should join, but hey I'm fine getting some gains by myself.

The specials on their website are expired. Expect to pay $45/mo with a contract or about $54/mo with no contract. They don't respond to emails or phone calls so you wouldn't know unless you went in person.

Original post in 2016. This place misrepresented its membership policy to me. I specifically asked if this was a month-to-month contract and was told YES.Now I'm being told I can't cancel. There are month-to-month contracts that can be canceled at any time, and that's what I was clearly asking! PLUS, you pay $10 extra for every spin class! What a joke!

Took a tour of the gym today. Staff was friendly enough, gave me a very halfhearted tour but I was able to walk around on my own, as well. Plenty of equipment, great layout. Locker rooms are nice BUT if you’re a woman, you apparently don’t deserve to use a steam room…they are only for men. Yes. You read that right. In 2021, women are given fewer benefits for the same price (I asked, and the guy just laughed). Then, it clicked. It was literally only dudes in the gym at the time, probably around ten individuals at noon - a gym peak hour. So if you’re a guy, it’s a great gym. No classes either, so basically disregard the website entirely.

Nice setup. I just signed up last week. Pretty upset that the showers & steam rooms aren’t available. Some of the lockers don’t work and some of the equipment are down too. Hopefully the experience gets better.

Been a member of this gym for 2 years. Gyms have been given the go ahead to re-open and this one has not. But their trainers and workers have the audacity to post their daily workouts from the gym, I'm presumably still paying for, on instagram. Who runs a business like this? With zero communication to their members, outside of rubbing it in our faces that we can't workout and they can.

Have to say yesterday was my first time, and the staff are sooooo friendly and helpful. I took a spin class with Ryan and was very enjoyable. I signed up for their monthly membership, found out they have tanning beds so that’s a plus, and my husband can join for half price as a couples membership. All in all, great experience. This is my first time back in the gym since last May after a car accident so things were a little rough on my part, but no complaints whatsoever on the facilities or the staff.

Love the location and all of the staff is always friendly. They have a lot of equipment to choose from and it is a very neat place. They just need to do a little better keeping everything in working order.

It may be small but the staff here are super friendly! I’ve been here for two years and they’ve always treated me well. The equipment is slightly dated but definitely good enough to get you through most workouts!

SO UNPROFESSIONAL: I was told upon joining that my prorated membership would be $39 with the sign up fee. Cut to a few days later and I had in fact, been charged $88. When my husband and I called to ask for the manager to learn about the higher charge, the man on the phone Mark Howard, couldn't hear my husband and said, "you know what, dude" click. Hung up on us.

When we called back, he proceeded to tell us we were in the wrong. I told him he shouldn't hang up on people, that it's very unprofessional. His response, "Oh I do."

Yeah, I'm Done.

Update: I took Sarah Werner's adviser and joined the YMCA down the street. Much better experience.

Adequate. They have cardio equipment, dumbbells, machines, free weights, barbells, two power racks, and three flat benches for pressing. Cost of a drop-in is $11, not too bad. The floor isn't level, making deadlifts and squats challenging and the weights and bars are a bit low quality... But it's there and you can train. All in all, it's adequate.

Love working out at this gym. The staff are very friendly, they have great rates, nice amenities, and the people that work out there are always nice. I wish they had a few more pieces of equipment for back as it sometimes gets to be a bottleneck. All walks of life work out there.

Now that the gym moved closer to my apt I use it more often. I really like the front desk staff. They are always nice and very kind to me. They actually make it fun to work out by greeting me with a big smile and hello. I only wish the management would keep them on the payroll as it seems the staff turnover is ongoing. I like the new space but with the equipment was in better shape. All in all I like this place.

"Bodybuilding" style gym. Good equipment and plenty of variety. Never used a personal trainer, but I speak with them occasionally and they seem to be very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fitness factory is a joke of a gym with a racist owner who finds it pleasurable pinning down what could be potential customers on the sidewalk by their necks when people of color want to take pictures. My walk through of this place when I first moved to the neighborhood was thoroughly unenjoyable. The staff watched me the entire time, when I asked about member rates they were given to me in a manner that said to me "we know you can't afford this" assuming that I couldn't judging me without even taking the time of day to ask what I do. I'll be glad the day comes when I see this place shut it's doors.

This place is a joke.. run by a bunch of meat heads that know nothing about business or customer service.. only half the equipment works, and be weary when you cancel your membership, they will most certainly keep charging your account until you contact the BBB or complain enough that they just give in.. they did to both me and my girlfriend, even after we fulfilled the 12 month contract obligation. Would not recommend this place.

Worst Management ever seen. Very rude manager when it gets to cancellations even if I was moving to different city. READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY AND DO NOT GO BY THERE WORDS. they forced me to pay 2 months plus cancellations fees.

Best gym in the downtown St. Louis area. Pay $10 and you'll get a $10 gym. This place is worth the extra money.

I actually created an account now that I moved away because of the way my membership was handled. I was essentially forced to pay for two months after I left even though when I signed up, I was assured this would not happen since I have moved for my job frequently. The manager running this gym has no concept of better business practices for long-term growth and satisfaction of the clientele. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere as places such as the JCC offer excellent alternatives and customer oriented management.
