About the Club

Tempo Fitness & Wellness is a private, personal training facility in Creve Coeur, MO. We offer small group training, individual training, classes, nutritional counseling and coaching and much more. We know that not all people are built the same or have the same fitness goals. Understanding this, allows us to better serve each individual we work with to help build a structured program tailored to each individual. We’re passionate about what we do and look forward to reaching potential clients in the surrounding areas of Ladue, Creve Coeur, Town & Country, Chesterfield, Olivette and University City. I trained with Jared for 5 months leading up to an important trek and climb.

During those 5 months I lost 3 percent body fat and gained 11 pounds of muscle.

Perhaps even more importantly for the first time in my life I did not get injured as I progressively increased the amount of weight I lifted.

Jared understands the importance of sport-specific or activity-specific training and he designs the optimal training program for your specific goals.

I was able to trek in 65 miles, climb to 23 thousand feet and then trek out 65 miles in a fraction of the time it took everyone else.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jared and Tempo Fitness.

This place is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean facilities and for some reason, it makes you feel at home. The attention is good and personalized. I was there for the sauna and the cold plunge and I can't explain how relaxed I felt. I totally recommend it if you want to take some time to recover physically and mentally.

Jared and Matt possess a rare talent of tailoring training sessions to meet individual needs. They listen to their clients and develop personalized workouts. The space is well designed offering a veritable smorgasbord of equipment and clean and comfortable facilities. After going to the physical therapist, I was seeking further assistance to stabilize and strengthen my knee. I went into Tempo fitness and Jared was very helpful with giving me additional exercises to appropriately help me to further strengthen my knee and feeling better! The trainers have great knowledge and the facility has a lot to offer with great equipment and well kept!

What a phenomenal experience with Jared and Tempo fitness. I was visiting from out of town and had the pleasure of doing a session with him this morning..
His attention to proper technique, form and truly investing in his clients fitness goals is very impressive.
This will be my go to whenever I am back in St. Louis. Extra props for kicking things off with a cold plunge.. What a way to start the day!

About a year ago I was telling a friend that I wanted to start exercising because I lost a lot of weight dieting but I wanted to gain muscle mass. She let me tag along with her trainer and I've been working with Matt ever since. I was nervous about getting started but Matt helped me learn how to safely use all of the equipment and build a workout plan that has helped me become stronger and healthier than I've ever been. I look forward to going to the gym and having Matt push me to reach levels that I never would on my own. Whether its a gentle push or shooting for a lofty goal Matt makes my workouts fun and challenging. They recently moved into a new gym space and it is AMAZING! I don't know if I'll ever be able to use all of the different types of equipment, but its nice to know that whatever I want to train, tempo can help me make it a reality. I can't say enough good things about Matt as a personal trainer. Whenever I have questions or concerns I feel comfortable bringing them to Matt, and I always leave the conversation a lot smarter! I am constantly singing the praises of Tempo because people constantly ask me about the physical transformation I've made. I couldn't have done it without Tempo Fitness and the community they've built and welcomed me into!

I started training with Jared at Tempo Fitness to build up strength and to get back into overall good shape after ACL surgery. From day one, Jared was able to see my imbalances and help me start improving and strengthening my body. I was able to return to my sport stronger than I was before surgery. He continues to push me and keeps me consistent. The Tempo facility is a new, clean gym with state of the art equipment. My wife and I have been training with Jared for nearly 15 years. At this point he is essentially part of the family. We do both individualized training as well as the bootcamps, and our kids enjoy joining us for workouts and bootcamps when they are back in town. The bootcamps provide a community of folks who want to pay attention to their fitness. As we watch our parents age, my wife and I view our time with Jared as an investment for our 80’s. And day to day these workouts clear the head and contribute to focus. One of Jared’s best qualities is his ability to help us work through and remedy the occasional aches and pains that comes from the passing decades. If you’re looking to add to your fitness routine or are just getting started, you should meet with Jared.

Tempo is a newer gym that has the experienced trainers you have been searching for to lead you to the best version of yourself! I primarily have focused on the wonderful boot camps the gym offers, but also, have benefited from one on one training with the owner Jared.
The boot camps are a great size where you still feel like you have the trainer all to yourself. The format of the class is easy to follow and the variety means no two classes are the same. From upper body to lower body to abs and back, nothing is missed. I really have enjoyed all the different equipment from the curved treadmill (not sure the technical name) to the versa climber to the assisted weight machines and I cannot forget the sled pushes on the turf! The energy from the other clients and particularly the trainer will keep you moving. No matter your fitness level, the class can be tailored to you! Jared is great about always providing a good stretch at the end and motivating you to stay on track.
One of my favorite aspects at Tempo is the fact that Jared is certified in nutrition. He created a wonderful meal plan for me and took the time to help me adjust it based on my personal needs with food sensitivities and family life!
I would 100% recommend Tempo to anyone looking to find the best version of themselves either in the personal training setting or group fitness classes.
