This is my daughter's first time taking dance classes and she loves it at the Dance Arts Center. The environment is so welcoming and the people are always showing smiles and have created such an inviting atmosphere. She looks forward to going each week and will come home and try out all her new skills. Marla is amazing and we highly recommend the Dance Arts Center! This is our first year at Dance Arts Center. We have two of our girls in a class together. They absolutely love our weekly dance class and tumbling. They come home each week and show my husband and I all the new things they learned. Their confidence has bloomed this last year. We will be coming back next season for sure. And adding a new little one to her own class. Very excited for the recital coming up.

We have been dancing here since my youngest daughter was 3, and we are about to start our 4th season at DAC. Every teacher that my daughters have had over the years has been incredible. My youngest daughter can tend to get off track sometimes and they have always been nothing but patient with her. My older daughter started dancing here a year after my youngest, and she can tend to lack confidence in herself. Her teachers, especially Ms. Marla in her jazz class, have helped her gain so much confidence in the past few years. It really seems like every teacher knows every student by name and develops a great relationship with them. We did not have such a good experience at the dance studio that my older daughter used to attend, or at the previous gyms where they did gymnastics. I'm so happy that we found DAC, and I'm looking forward to watching my girls dance here for many more years (and my son, if he decides to when he gets old enough!).

This is our third studio in the 13 years my daughter has danced and we feel like we are home. We loved our previous studios and were a little worried about how we would fit in joining so late in the game but everyone was instantly welcoming and kind. My daughter has already made lifelong friends at DAC as have I. It is one big dance family full of love and support for everyone. The staff is amazing and encouraging, Marla has a way of making you feel comfortable, and the teachers are always engaged with the dancers. We love it hear.

I can’t speak for now, but I know it was a wonderful experience for both my girls both as dancers and assistant teachers definitely taught them time management and priorities in their lives. As a mom, Miss Marla and her staff were mindful of the cost of costumes and the age appropriate nature of their craft. Miss Marla has always shown how it is possible to juggle several projects and do them well. She keeps recital fresh which is the work of all the teachers but ultimately it falls on Marla’s shoulders. She makes sure each dance is as viewable as possible for the parents in the front row as well as top balcony seating she appreciates you want a good view of your kid dancing, no matter their talent level. She is a role model and works hard with and for the community keeping the fine art of dance ever present to be passed from one generation to the next. I could go on and on which I already have, to end, I will say best money I ever spent, it was hard for the girls and I but with every penny cause they learned more than just the steps to a dance. Thank you Miss Marla for being so special!
