I’ve been a member (not just on a guest pass anymore) here since October of last year, and honestly, the experience has gotten worse over time. Let me start with the only positive: the staff. The people who work the front desk and floor are friendly, helpful, and genuinely trying. Nearly all of the issues I have with this gym come from decisions made at the operations level, not the staff on-site. They’re the only saving grace of this location.

Now for the problems:

Hours:
This used to be a 24-hour gym. Now the hours are so restrictive it barely feels usable. Closing at 7 PM on weekends is absurd. For a gym that advertises convenience, these hours make it anything but.

Equipment Maintenance:
The treadmills feel like they’ve never been serviced. Belts slip, wobble, and just feel worn out. For a place with this many members, basic maintenance shouldn’t be optional.

Cardio Theater:
When the movie even plays at all, it’s usually cropped wrong. Think “bootleg DVD from 2005.” Entire sections of the picture are cut off—characters missing eyebrows, scenes missing their top third. It totally defeats the purpose of having a cardio theater, and it’s been like this repeatedly.

Guest System:
Somehow this got worse, too. I pay extra to bring a guest. It used to be simple—scan a QR code, fill out a quick survey. Now we have to stand in line so I can tell someone my email after scanning my membership card. It’s slower, outdated, and inconvenient.

Overall, the staff is great, but everything else feels like a downgrade. I joined because my friends went here, and now they’ve all left—and honestly, I don’t blame them. At this rate, I’ll probably be switching gyms soon, too.

I had been training at this gym for two months. Then my leg got fractured at home — it was a small fracture — so I couldn’t go to the gym.
I went to the gym and told them my leg was broken, and that I wouldn’t be able to come back until it improved. I asked them to temporarily freeze my membership.
They told me, “No problem,” and asked me to sign. I signed on a small screen, and they didn’t give me any other information. They only told me to come back on 11/26/2025.

Two weeks later, my leg was fine and I decided to return to the gym. When I went there and asked to resume my training, they told me:
“You can’t return unless you bring a doctor’s note.”

But when I first came to freeze my membership, the employee never told me that I would need a doctor’s note later.
He didn’t give me any information. He just said, “Sign,” and that was it.

This situation really upset me.
I hope the manager or the person responsible takes care of this, because members deserve clear information and better treatment, especially when they are paying customers at this gym.

TL;DR - Manipulative and shady business practices designed to lock you into a contract while offering subpar service in a subpar environment. Go elsewhere.

Before signing any contracts, I explicitly asked if there were any penalties for cancellation of my account—as being locked into Club Fitness was a hassle and I did not want a repeat experience. I was told no, if I cancelled 30 days prior to my next subscription charge there are no fees. Additionally, I clarified that I could cancel my membership at any time without any fees and was told that the contract was ONLY designed to create a year-long membership that would renew the following year at the sign-up date but there was NO contractual obligation to fulfill the length of the contract. I was expressly told that the only fees associated with the account would be late fees for failing to pay on time or I would be charged for the following month if I failed to cancel 30 days prior to the next subscription charge.

That was a lie designed to get me to sign the pad that I was incorrectly and maliciously informed was only for account creation, address confirmation, and bank account confirmation. When attempting to cancel I was told that is not the case and I will need to buy out the rest of my contract or continue to pay—A.KA. – no “fees.” What a joke.

This is bait-and-switch behavior designed to prey on the difficulty of cancellation. It is why they require multiple accounts to charge.

Not only have the obligations of the contract been misrepresented in order to financially benefit the company at my expense but the quality of the service and quality of the establishment are subpar. The water fountains are regularly out of order, the sauna is regularly out of order, the machines and attachments are cheap and flimsy, multiple machines are constantly used by a single person who regularly sits on their phone doing no workouts, and the free weight section smells like rotten eggs. Additionally, the employees only exist to talk among themselves at the front desk providing zero support for the clientele and no enforcing of the rules posted around the gym--I regularly see the rules posted on the walls (no weights over 25lbs on the turf, no benches on the squat racks, etc.) broken and the staff does nothing. To make matters worse, I have seen off-duty employees breaking those exact rules while working out. The only people I’ve ever actually seen doing real work are the man and woman who clean the locker rooms.

Am I dumb for taking someone at their word and not reading the full contract myself before blindly signing a digital pad put before me? Absolutely, you got me. However, I never expected someone to lie about a 30-dollar monthly fee to a gym, what kind of strange corporate boot-licking behavior?

Will I get out of the contract? Probably not but maybe this will prevent their team from pulling one over on someone else. Pathetic behavior over what amounts to 150 more dollars, although they obviously need the money to stay afloat.

While initially everything looked great it quickly became somewhat subpar. The machines break frequently and it can get pretty dirty. The staff can also be unhelpful and rude at times. There was one instance where I entered the gym on 6:30pm on Sunday (the gym closes at 7 on the weekends which honestly sucks) and the guy at the front desk rolled his eyes and yelled at me for it. I was out of there before 7 too FYI. That honestly made me want to never come back because it was mortifying. Costs the same amount as a boutique gym but the experience is not even close. Also people bringing around tripods and filming is everywhere is horrible, it happened every time I went to the gym.

Changed over to the edge about 6 months ago and the gym is fine clean staffing is friendly enough. The reason for the low rating is because I like to go on Sundays to workout and watch the NFL kill two birds with one stone due to time constraints like most people! So I go opening week of the NFL to work out and watch some football and of the over 15 television mounted not one has a NFL game on! I Talk to the GM Allen the next day hoping to get a simple solution rectified instead I get some bogus excuse about their preset and blah blah blah! Bottom line, if you're going to have TVs up on the wall, at least put them on channels club members might want to watch ( by the way I'm not the only club member to complain about this)! Had I known they weren't going to show the games I would have stayed at my old gym and if this situation isn't rectified I will be going back to my old gym! Do better anticipating club members expectations!

Customer service is not helpful at all. I went to pay in person after money was attempted. I come to gym and no one understand anything.(this is after the 23, a day after) now I’m here today 11/01/25 and they are saying I have to pay a late fee. So now I need to wait until the figure something out after asking for the direct business number so that I can avoid paying late fee.(which is why I can the following day to settle it in house) so that I wouldn’t be charged. I’m here now 6:51pm and they are still lost. Like I have to pay the late fee but not the $44.

It is very hard to get out of your contract even if you move to another state
Make sure you read and understand what you are signing
I moved to AZ and they want 30 days notice and proof that you moved and pay another month even though there is no way you could use the gym for another month if you live in another state; how are you supposed to give 30 days notice and provide proof of address?!
There are other gyms that don’t make it so difficult

Have been going to the gym about a year and really enjoy all the classes and the women's room. It is clean and has the necessary equipment and nice locker rooms. Things that could be improved: the sauna is rarely working and the instructor Elizabeth is very unmotivating as she often does not want to do the workout herself. Generally avoid her classes even if the time works better.

I genuinely regret joining The Edge Fitness. While they have plenty of amenities and the facility looks impressive at first glance, the experience quickly falls apart once you’re actually a member.

The biggest issue is how poorly managed the place is. Staff rarely enforce any gym etiquette — people camp on machines, record themselves on tripods, and treat the place like a social club while others wait. The employees almost never leave the front desk to help or keep things in order.

Then there’s the membership and contract nightmare. Trying to cancel or even ask questions about billing feels like pulling teeth. The policies are designed to trap you into paying longer than you want, and customer service is dismissive at best.

The app is clunky, the gym is overcrowded during normal hours, and despite all the shiny extras — tanning, saunas, smoothie bar, etc. — it’s all overshadowed by how frustrating it is to actually use the place.

In short, it’s a gym that looks great on paper but delivers a subpar, aggravating experience in practice. If you value professionalism, clear policies, and a well-run gym, look elsewhere.

The Edge Fitness Club in Shrewsbury, MO is one of the best gyms in the area. There’s tons of space, beautiful natural light, and a massive variety of equipment—everything from free weights to machines to an entire cardio theater. They also have a clean, relaxing sauna, a kids’ area for childcare, and a solid smoothie bar. It’s a really positive, welcoming place to work out with a great vibe and friendly members. The personal training options are also top-notch. It’s affordable, well-maintained, and I’ve enjoyed being a member here for years. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get healthier.

Very clean, nice facilities, friendly staff. Good instructors for classes. My only beef is they don't have enough separate exercise rooms for classes to go on simultaneously (e.g., Pump, Body Balance and another at the same time). Also, the room is so vast, it lacks the intimacy that makes "exercise buddies," for lack of a better term.I take classes primarily. I have been taking Les Mills-licensed classes for years, first in Atlanta, then Colorado Springs, now Edge Fitness. I find the classes and their mixes fun, engaging and never boring because they change every six weeks. Also, the classes are carefully choreographed so the instructor doesn't forget what they've covered on one side of the body or the other, and they're safe. That said, I wish Edge Fitness offered more Les Mills-branded classes, especially Barre. While the instructor is good, she has to remind herself what movements she did on one side to repeat on the other. Moreover, she does the same thing for virtually every class. If you want to just work out with equipment, this is a great choice. For classes, it's good but could be better.

I began a membership last fall and communicated in the first 2 weeks that the lack of 24 hours did not work with my schedule and they even verified that I had only spent an hour and a half in their facility using their machines during that time. I misunderstood that I had 30 days, not 3. I did everything I could to work with them to cancel my contract and they refused. Grant, the GM at the Shrewsbury location, encouraged me to commit fraud in detail to cancel. They keep harassing me through other means and now I’m taking action.

Do NOT join this gym. My experience has been nothing but unprofessional, disorganized, and shady! 1 star is generous

They mismanaged my personal training package, admitted the mistake, but instead of fixing it, they charged me for another month I never agreed to. Even after multiple emails, calls, and unanswered voicemails, they ignored me until I filed a BBB complaint. In the meantime, staff harassed me with cryptic texts from behind the desk instead of offering help.

When I cancelled my membership, they made the process deliberately difficult. I provided proof of address, a notarized letter from my bank 600+ miles away, and STILL was told it “wasn’t enough.” NOW? They’re telling me my cancellation is “pending” and trying to charge me further—a clear breach of their own contract. I followed THEIR rules, and they still refuse to honor the agreement. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I go back online? Now the website has updated the immediate relation cancellation saying this only applies to military?

Edge Fitness (and ABC Financial) drag their feet, deflect blame, and keep taking your money until you fight tooth and nail to stop them. Easily the worst gym experience I’ve ever had. Stay far away.

Overall, this is a good gym and I would recommend it. Positives include: 1. friendly staff, 2. good smoothie/snack bar options, 3. lots of equipment, has just about everything you need, 4. the *fitness center* is usually pretty clean, 5. most members are good about wiping down equipment after use.

The less-than-positives: 1. there is one(!) drinking fountain on the main level, which is just odd for a gym this size, and as a result it gets a ton of use and often malfunctions (warm water, doesn't work at all, etc.). That said, there is another one upstairs that usually works better, and also (in my experience) staff is happy to refill your water bottle at the smoothie bar. 2. There is no HVAC in (at least the men's) locker room, and given it is Summer, it is sooooo hot in there. This is especially rough for those of us that use the showers; you start sweating again right away. Speaking of the showers, more often than not, there is a used Band-Aid left behind either on the floor or the built in shelf. I understand that to a certain extent the gym may be at the mercy of the property owner, which could make it challenging to address all of the non-positives. But, if this is the case, I would encourage them to press (or press harder) the property owner to address some of these issues. If not for these, I would be giving five stars.

When I bought a membership at Edge fitness clubs, it was advertised at 9.99 a month which is simply not true. There’s an activation fee of $150 that they don’t advertise. There’s a yearly fee of $100 that they don’t tell you about. That averages to over $30 a month for the first year. This place is just like planet fitness so don’t waste your money. Also, I have tried to cancel my membership multiple times, but I still have not been successful. This place will raise prices and take your money until you die if you let them! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I am shopping for gyms for when I move to St. Louis full time in the coming months (done this with other gyms in the area). When I arrived at the gym to set up a free trial Natasha told my partner and I that she wanted to clock out for the day so she could not give us a tour of the gym, but that she could go over prices. We were disappointed that she wouldn’t have time to give us a tour but said okay to just receiving the presentation. Then when she asked us about why we are looking into edge we were honest and said we were moving to the area full time soon and that we would like to start a membership up immediately upon arrival. She then told us the point of a trial is get us to sign up immediately after and since we wouldn’t do that in three days time that she could not let us tour or try out the gym. She had quite the attitude and then told us she would do us a favor and let us workout for less than hour for 10 dollars each with no tour of the facilities. Edge has lost potential business and I will be informing the other members of my company newly migrating to the area the same thing.

Spinning classes are great, love the Tues. night class with Lynn, she is awesome instructor, her time slots are not the best 6:30 Tues. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM YOU DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE. I’ve been a member for 2+ years and I came in to cancel my membership today because there’s a new gym closer to me. They told me that I am “under contract” until December and that the only way I can cancel my membership is to pay $300, be in the military, or move 15+ miles away. What kind of gym has a 3 year contract? That defeats the entire purpose of a “membership”. Place is a scam, go to literally any other gym.

Pretty clean
Sometimes they say hi to you when you walk in and leave, sometimes not.
The chair massage is nice but only one chair so it's almost always taken. Update; I still feel pretty much the same way about the gym. They are saying hi to me more in the morning but not really bye when I leave. Not a huge deal but I guess I'm old fashioned and wanna feel like I'm part of the "crew"

An absolute joke. So glad tomorrow will be my last day! There are exactly FOUR upright bikes. At no time since Christmas have all four been working at the same time. #4 does not allow you to do a workout longer than 15 minutes. # 3's TV is completely pulled from the wall. This comes after a week of having to plug the coaxial cable into the wall but now the wall piece is completely inoperable. #2 works so yay! And # 1 was fixed about two weeks ago and then broke the very next day. The manager has told me he knows the machines are poorly designed, but the owners refuse to replace. And now the part that kills me: the kickback machine, no kidding, was out of order from mid January until mid March. That's TWO ENTIRE months. And today, the first week of April, it's BROKEN again! DO NOT LOCK your car doors or leave any valuables in your car! July 2024, my driver side window was busted out, & again this past weekend, my car was rifled through & a few insignificant items were taken from the glovebox. Thankfully, I left the doors unlocked this time so, there was no need for the thieves to bust a window. This is a regular occurrence in the parking lot & unfortunately, there are no cameras or security of any kind.

The staff are kind and helpful, but it takes forever to repair equipment. The kickback machine has been out of order for MORE THAN A MONTH. At no time in the last four months have all four (That's right: they have just four) upright bikes been working. One has never worked properly. So sick of this nonsense and ending my membership soon.

Of course, #4 is NOT fixed and apparently never will be - just set multiple workouts of 15 minutes. Today, however, I was not surprised to find that #1 is once again broken. Unbelievable.

The front desk staff at this gym is truly exceptional, and I want the owners to know it. I’ve been coming here on and off for over 4 years, and the confidence and dedication of the team—especially at 4 AM—stand out, thanks to employees like the guy at the front desk.

On the whole I like this gym. But lately they have really fallen behind on maintaining their equipment. Nearly every time I go, I find myself submitting broken equipment reports and things never seem to get fixed.

At the beginning of January, the hydro massage and one tanning booth broke. Today, the second tanning booth broke also. The benches in the men's sauna are also falling apart and despite reporting it, it still hasn't been fixed. I'm stuck here until my contract runs out in the fall, but unless things turn around, I don't intend to renew.

5 stars a year ago but really starting to show a lack of proper maintenance after just two years of being open. Toilet seats falling off. Toilet paper dispensers falling open, equipment down, hand dryer broken for months, doors falling off lockers because nobody has bothered to tighten the screws. Bathroom walls unclean. I like the place so i hope they see this message and fix their issues.

The pricing for the gym is standard for the area. Generally there are enough machines to complete a workout without being overwhelmed. Maintenance on damaged equipment is also pretty standard. The culture is accepting of all age groups and skill levels. There is the occassional machine or weight horder but that's not a problem specific to this gym. Cleanliness is definitely a small mark against the facility. I've seen standing water, chalk, and other common gym items piled up in the same area over multiple days. The dumbells do smell a bit aged - though I've seen the custodial staff clean them with a dusting/feather wand?

My main issue is consistent cutting/changing of hours in both the gym and supplemental services without any known warning. You sell the higher priced package based on available perks which simply aren't available. I'd prefer you charge me more and actually keep the services rather than string them out to not provide benefit mid contract.

I'd reccomend only getting the basic membership if you go here as the superfluous services are largely a farce.

I love this gym so many plus! Like the movie theater, massage chair, so much more!! It's definitely worth a tour! I love my personal trainer Erin she so kind and understanding. UPDATED: Moved to 1 star. Tried canceling my membership and emailed the abc outsourced email referenced, no response in my cancelation after multiple follow ups over a month. Emailed the Edge customer service twice and both times just ignored that I wasn’t getting a response on my cancelation. Finally got ahold of someone and have a written response that it is canceled. What a continued disappointment!
Original Review: I’m bummed to give a bad review, but haven’t gotten a response from a submitted email from their website when using “contact us” or a text back directly when texted from someone named “Jake” who claimed they were the Fitness Manager at Shrewsbury and never received a response. However, when moving from club fitness to the edge, something that attracted me and my group of friends to the edge was the cleanliness and accessibility. Myself, and others in the gym (outside of my friend group that we have spoke to) have complained and submitted "requests" with no response to the potent smell of all the free weights. They have an awful stench of sweat and need to be properly cleaned! This is disappointing as I would hope to receive a response or have adequately cleaned weights. This is not something that can be fixed with a wipe down from a wet wipe. They need to be soaked, they smell like sweat has soaked into them. Making them almost unusable without gagging. We hardly even use that area now and have to resort to the women’s room or avoiding some exercises all together. Just hoping this might get through since other avenues haven't worked. Please also work on listening to customer feedback instead of consistently ignoring their complaints. Seriously has me considering finding somewhere else when our contract is up.
Positives: You fix equipment quickly and the front desk staff is phenomenal.

I got my membership in August 2023 with two of my girlfriends, and by the time January 2024 rolled around we already started noticing a really foul body odor smell coming from the dumbbells. Overtime the smell just progressively keeps getting worse and worse. We have all filed complaints in the app about the smell. Nobody does anything about it. It got to the point where we started only working out in the women’s studio, and eventually one of my girlfriends ended up getting an entirely new gym membership. I’m stuck in this membership for another year because of my contract, but I’m incredibly disappointed. It’s disgusting. It smells really gross, and the fact that no one is doing anything about it and letting the smell continue for months on end just blows my mind. I only go to this gym if I absolutely have to at this point. As soon as my contract is up, I will be switching.

Carefull--these guys sell your info immediately after you sign up. I went from not giving out my number, basically to anyone except friends, and thus never having any sort of robo/scam calls.

After signing up for the Edge free trial(not even full membership) my phone has been blowing up every day with people calling, trying to scam me. The call is always about me needing to okay a charge for a MacBook.

It's funny because I opted out of all their marketing crap but still get texts, emails, and calls from them daily, when it's not the scam call it's the edge calling to ask me how I'm doing or something.

I'm sure the gym is nice or whatever but I won't be finding out.

I've never enjoyed going to the gym prior to this! If you're shopping around for gym options in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend you at least see this one.

This is a great gym! The equipment is clean, the people are nice, and there's enough room to space out if you just want to be left alone. I like to lift on my own, but they also have a Cardio Theater that shows different movies (and sometimes a full season of a TV show) every day. It's got treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes so you can keep moving while you're also entertained. I like to drop in there occasionally, depending on what they're showing. There's a calendar in front (and on their app) that shows the schedule for the month. The movies almost never correlate to the calendar, and often there's no movie playing at all. So don't join this gym if you're simply looking forward to using the theater.
Lately there have been a lot of broken machines. I'd really like to see more working equipment, and especially more rowers.

Seriously, I have had issues with my account and no one can explain the charges to me. in this day in age when the economy is on the lips of every American, it makes sense to watch your coins! The location in Shrewsbury is disgusting. The floors are filthy the waiting benches need to be wiped down. I informed the manager that there have been 5 bulbs burnt out in tanning bed one three weeks ago, and she said they ordered them. It doesn't take that long to get bulbs when there is two other locations. It's also not hard to find a cleaning crew that actually cleans the floors and wipes things down. The manager gave me the excuse that the cleaning crew is hispanic and they don't speak english, so there is and language barrier.

Yiy can reply thank you all you want , the fact remains the same. Dirty foors, you still have not changed the bulbs in bed one, now there are six bulbs burt out. It has been oved a month.

This is an awesome gym! They keep it clean and the facilities are second to none. The only reason I didn’t give him five stars they play the exact same music EVERY day. If you go at 9 o’clock on Monday, you’ll hear the exact same song at 9 o’clock on Tuesday. That goes for every song throughout the day.

I work odd hrs and it helped me maintain my fitness goals.. now they’re changing their hrs so it’s very disappointing, especially with how busy this gym can get.. other than that its a good gym but not really worth the money without the 24 hour access

Updating my review again. Still a good gym, but the music level is out of control. Particularly on Sunday, back by the squat racks, it's unbearable. The staff at that time respond that it's "IT" (??) that controls the music and they don't get in til Monday. But really, Edge, it just doesn't need to be that loud. If you can hear it through your own earbuds at high volume, it's ridiculous. Please, turn it down.

Also, while the equipment is in generally good shape, there are a few machines that break down regularly, and often remain out of commission for 4+ weeks. If it's the same part that wears out, maybe multiple parts could be ordered to speed up the process in the future?

UPDATED REVIEW: I will stick to my original review of how much I love the staff that works the front and the space. But wish I'd been aware of the 30 day notice of cancellation. After a 3 month medical leave I called at the end of June to cancel until my back heals. Saw a charge a few days ago, so I called. Current manager, Mr. Sullens informed me of his many years of experience in customer service and that I was obligated to pay the final payment even though I haven't been there since April. He also advised me how to deal with this kind of thing in the future. I don't remember all he said as this caught me off guard. It might have been in the original contract that was omitted after I came back from a different medical leave and was added as a month to month member instead of renewing my contract. Or that is just simply their policy.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Been coming for a couple years now. Kind and friendly staff. Clean. So much more to offer than I can conquer. This gym offers all kinds of options, wherever you are. I’m quite fond of the movie theater cardio room, the women’s workout room and of course the massage chair. Recently I ventured into the sauna and showers. Delightful. Special shout out to Theo who greets you with a smile every morning and answers all kinds of questions.

None of the rules of conduct or etiquette are exercised in the slightest by staff or guests. Gym bags are laying around everywhere. Shoes are optional. Soliciting is allowed via pamphlets in the lockers everyday. Sportswear and athletic clothing are the same thing here. Not just guests but some of the “trainers” also do some of these things. Contacted management about these issues and never heard back. Only problem with cancelling was waiting behind the 3 other people cancelling their memberships.

Made the switch when Club Fitness quadrupled their prices. Overall, this is better. Staff is always friendly. Facility is clean. The big windows are very nice. As others have mentioned, maintenance is an issue. When things break, they tend to stay broken. Nearly every treadmill is missing buttons, there are only 2 rowers and one has the foot blocks installed incorrectly, there are machines that have been down for weeks and there is a hand dryer in the men’s locker room that has become a joke. As long as I have been a member, it has never worked, yet a sign saying it will be fixed soon keeps appearing. Once they get maintenance figured out, 5 stars.

No preventative maintenance on machines. Often find bolts and washers around cable crossover machine. Things often broken for months at a time. Below is a picture of how people have gotten used to things being broken and working around it. Addressed some concerns with front staff about things coming loose to hear they will get someone on it and it never happening. Free weight area by weights smells like a dead animal all the time. Not sure if the men’s hand dryer has ever worked. Using the app to report broken machines doesn’t yield results.

If you only have the money for a temporary membership, this is not the place to go. I was able to attend for a couple months but then had a change in income. They would not cancel my membership without documentation from a doctor, proof I had moved, or showed I was being deployed. The contract they make you sign says you need to pay for an entire year before you can cancel. I do NOT recommend this place.

I've been a trainer for 20 years and in the gym for 35 years. The edge gym is by far the best gym and blows ask the rest out of the water. They have a ton of cardio machines a huge weight lifting area and now functional equipment than any other gym ever. Nice job guys

It is affordable, what I most like is that they offer monthly body scan with you monthly fee no additional charges on that. It will tell you if you are making progress or not. Your men's room soap dispensers were out of soap for the whole time I was there this morning and who knows how long before that. When I told the front desk attendant he said they were waiting for housekeeping ....scratching my head on that one still....So right before I left, I went in to wash my hands and soap dispensers were still empty. The housekeeping guy was cleaning the urinals so I asked him if he had any soap. He said no...still scratching my head.
Also the left hand dryer has been out for six months. This is a good sign that money is in short supply for even basic necessity health and hygiene...

Other than that and the broken down equipment that takes months to repair the club is great.

Reminds me of the Gold's in Fenton before they folded.

Everything explained super well, honestly I’m surprised behind the science the engineers put into their equipment, to make sure you have the correct body position so the correct muscle group gets targeted. It is a commercial gym so be prepared for busier times, and it is a year contract at first. But for the pricing? It’s quite ideal. Not much better will you find for the environment it provides. The gym is really nice and really clean. The classes are really great and just worth the membership alone. However, I do find them to be a little sheisty when it comes to the contract. They act as though they are signing you up for a month to month membership but it's really a year commitment. I read the contract and cancelled my membership by submitting an email. They were still charging me until I had to send another email to the manager and show my original email that I had cancelled months ago. They eventually cancelled my membership (thankfully) but did not back-pay me. Pretty unfortunate but I guess that's how it goes!

They posted that they are closing the gym at a certain time today due to inclement weather. They did not include that they are locking the doors and not letting members in an hour before that said time of closing.
Half the time the cinema isn’t working or replaying an old movie 3-5x a month.
The childcare has been short-staffed minimum 4x in the last 3 weeks, making it so I am not capable of leaving my child in there, which I pay the club to do so.

I have been an Edge member since March and it is an outstanding gym! The staff is courteous, the locker rooms are clean and the general ambiance is extremely positive.

I recently signed up with a personal trainer, Drew Davis. He is a true professional and excellent trainer. His ability is enhanced by an intuitive nature which keeps each workout fun, interesting and challenging. Drew Davis is top-notch.

Great job Edge Fitness! Ten stars all around!
