The Linc is Jefferson City and Lincoln University's recreation facility. Memberships are the cheapest in the city, and day passes are available. With four basketball courts, six volleyball courts, a 200-meter track, a full weight room (cardio, free weights, cable strength machines), a kickboxing gym, a cycling room, and an outdoor fitness area — there really is something for everyone.

Jefferson city's biggest honey hole of a workout place along with basketball courts . Never really too packed compared to the ymca . Very clean facility, staff is awesome and friendly. Weekends hours are good as you can get without being a 24/7 facility. State of the art equipment thank you lincoln University and parks and recreation!

Beautiful multi purpose building. Went there for third grade basketball tournament. Clean facility with amenities. Hint: the water and Gatorade from the machine is cheaper than the same stuff from concession.

Friendly staff. For the most part... ones in charge seem very unfriendly and unprofessional. Want to play a game of basketball?? Good luck with that. They have a full court where 20 people are waiting for next game. Instead of managing that, and splitting games into half court with 4 on 4.. they decide to leave 2 full courts unused. Small kids don’t dare come to play unless for a paid scheduled practice. Otherwise they get to watch 40 grown men play on one full court. They have 4 full courts... practices are on half courts. They usually have 2-3 of those at a time max. That leaves 5-6 half courts that could be used for pickup games. This would make playing games more inviting to all ages and groups... instead of it being a 30 person ‘click’ who run the courts.

I called on a Saturday morning after this facility opened and no one answered the phone the first time. When I called back about 30 minutes later, the person who answered was super rude. She did not answer the phone “The Linc” she said Parks and recreation -which I get but she should have included the name of the facility when answering. Ok, so no big deal but I called and asked how much it costs for a drop in. Very Rudely, she said; “Well how old is the person coming in?” I replied but was taken aback. Then she explained why she asked that. But how about instead of asking my age: just say it’s different prices for different ages and explain that. So I told her thank you and she didn’t even say you’re welcome, have a nice day or anything, she just hung up.
The place is a nice Place as far as looks but the customer service is severely lacking.

Very disappointed. Our girls went to use the open gym last night and a group of unmannered boys refused to share the court and made rude and obscene comments to them. The staff was alerted and did nothing.

It WAS a nice gym. Except the fact that you have to treat it like a freaking library. You can't make ANY noise, or else you get yelled at, accused of being a racist, then have the cops called on you. Management refuses to address the situation, even if you have requested to speak to a person in charge MULTIPLE TIMES, but instead, their plan of action for resolving an issue is to have the police escort you out. My boyfriend and I are cancelling our membership. This place sucks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS GYM IF YOU PLAN ON ACTUALLY TRYING TO WORK OUT. This place is worse than Planet Fitness with their "no intimidation policy". Because instead, the staff takes it upon themselves to intimidate the guests. The compete lack of communication and respect for the love of working out is beyond me. I would give it 0 stars, but it won't let me.
I will update this review if things actually get resolved, but until then, my review stands, and I'm going to go to an ACTUAL gym to work out.
