I can’t express how great Thrive is. All the coaches are fantastic, challenging, encouraging and just fun to be around. I had very little experience with strength training before Thrive. This training gym is a perfect fit for me. All of the trainers are well educated and know their craft. They watch your form to optimize your workout, and give input when needed. The atmosphere is professional as well as friendly. The trainers revise your workout every 6 weeks. Workouts are geared to movement used in daily life. I’m very pleased with my results. I look forward to my workouts. Bootcamp is another offering. I participate in bootcamps and though difficult I enjoy the camaraderie.

I started at Thrive six weeks ago and from the very first time I walked it it felt like home. The staff members (Taylor, Gaby, Leah, Brett, Jay, Becks and Debby’s) are smiling and welcoming every time I show up. Each one of them has been encouraging through every workout. I have been working out for four months at Thrive, and I truly enjoy the twice weekly, hour-long workouts. The vibe is great: fun music, energetic and professional trainers who encourage and push me, and friendly camaraderie amongst the clients. I have had several minor injuries over these past months (occuring outside of the gym). Instead of stopping exercise, my trainers have encouraged me to keep coming, and continually adapt my workout routine to help me recover, strengthen, and keep moving. I've also been working with Debbye on improving my nutritional habits, and have made lifestyle changes that are already showing results. My experience at Thrive has been very personal and affirming. This is a great place to work out for people of all levels of fitness / experience! The awesome trainers worked with me to craft individualized training plans, taking into account of my past injuries and comfort level but also rightfully challenging me a little bit. Reassessment is done whenever a program wraps up, and it’s so gratifying to see my tangible improvements in fitness and strength. I joined Thrive STL 2 and a half years ago, and it has become a key component of my physical and mental maintenance. Because the gym is relatively small, I know all of the people that come at my time early in the morning, both members and trainers. I feel like we are one large family! All of the trainers are quite knowledgeable and very attentive. They are never judgmental, and always make me feel that they sincerely care. Thrive is an amazing place to create positive change in your health and fitness! It's a no pressure, small group environment with personalized service. They will start you just right where you are and move you forward from there. The trainers are attentive and supportive and give the perfect amount of personal attention with each workout. As one of the longest tenured Thrive clients I love the place. It is very convenient for me but more importantly I think the management and trainers as well as the clientele make for a very conducive environment for maintaining and improving one’s fitness. My favorite aspect is the regular (every 6 weeks) evaluations and consequent changes of programs. Most gyms and trainers have one doing the same thing year end and year out. Go Thrive

Thrive STL is awesome! Very friendly, very chill. I'm not a gym person - at all - but I actually look forward to these workouts. Debbye, Taylor, and Gaby designed a progressive strength program that always challenges me while keeping it interesting. In addition to the strength training I also take advantage of the drop-in bootcamps to get in some cardio and a few laughs (everyone is usually working hard but not taking it too seriously). I told them my first 6 months at Thrive added 15 yards to my golf swing and they said "You should put that in a Google review!" so here it is -- well deserved 5 stars!!!

The best gym in town!! My wife and I have been members here for over 5 years and it has been one of the best decisions that we have ever made. I love how the workout programs are individually tailored to my goals and current level of fitness. The trainers here really know their stuff, and they are masters of explaining the how and why of each exercise they give me. In addition to the personal training aspect, there are multiple bootcamps during the week that we try to take advantage of as well. They also offer yoga sessions, although those are typically during the day (I can never make it to those). I love that it is locally owned. There is a strong community feeling when you walk into the gym. Being a member at Thrive STL is definitely worth every penny.

I have three requirements for joining a gym. It has to be:
1. close to home
2. within my budget
3. not intimidating
The membership for Thrive is expensive, but when I step back to fairly assess - convenience, tailored programs, regular assessments - it’s clearly worth it.
I love this little gym. Its culture is encouraging, light-hearted, and community-oriented. You’ll meet people at all different fitness levels here, where caring and smart trainers have pushed me toward a stronger, healthier version of myself. My husband is also a member and, because of his customized programs, has overcome chronic piriformis and SI joint pain he’s struggled with for almost a decade, and you can’t put a price tag on that.
The only drawback I can point to is that Thrive’s space is small, but the owner and trainers are careful to limit how many work out at once.
My 40s regularly prove there’s nothing more valuable than one’s health. So I’m investing in mine now before the medical bills force me to.

I came here through Class Pass to use the Peloton. The bikes used to be in a separate room but now they are out in the open, still by the front windows. I thought I would feel weird riding while other clients were training around me but once the Peloton class starts, you forget about everything else. I burned over 500 calories during the Peloton class, which was a love class. I love that you get ranked throughout class regardless of whether the class is live or previously recorded. Catalyst also has a Peloton package if you don't want to use Class Pass but want to ride a Peloton. Check it out!!

The evening crowd at Catalyst has taken a thing I know I should do for health reasons and turned it into a thing that 9/10 I look forward to doing (and that 1/10 is on me and my attitude walking in, never on them … but I always leave feeling better, happier, and lighter – and that has EVERYTHING to do with the trainers and the environment they’ve created; their ability to get me out of my head and make things FUN).
I love the small, family feel to Catalyst. Nothing about this place is cookie cutter typical gym, and for that I am especially grateful. I have been working out at Catalyst for only a month and have been very impressed with the program . Overall , I just feel so much better since I started the program . I have never enjoyed weight lifting but working out with the trainers has given me the motivation to push through

Lots of “fitness” places out there, but none like Catalyst Strength and Functional Nutrition for results. Great staff, great community, great workouts. Can you tell I like this place? I’m a raving fan, try it and you’ll be too.
