This place makes it nearly impossible to cancel your membership without having to go into the gym - this is unacceptable and VERY unprofessional. Ken, the manager I can only assume, calls me OFTEN without me asking for the contact - I have requested cancellation TWICE in two weeks and they are still charging my card. I am now seeking legal action to not just prevent more charges but so I can get my money back.

I recently visited TR fitness while visiting family. As a former gym manager I have to say that this gym was the cleanest and most organized I’ve seen in quite awhile. Everyone was welcoming and nice too. It had a small town homey feel. I’ll definitely be back every time I visit.

I started working out in the Mountain Grove TR Fitness gym. I appreciated being able to have 24 hours a day access. The gym was always clean and the staff was great. I even took the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class offered at the gym. I relocated to Texas for a while then came back to Branson, Missouri for a few months. I was happy to find a TR Fitness there. It was a ditto experience for me. Great staff, clean gym, and a variety of equipment and available space to workout. I highly recommend TR Fitness if you want a great gym experience!

April 28, 2024 update:
Well, I'm dropping this to one star. The company fired the manager that made me give them the extra star.

The manager was a passenger in a serious car crash that took the life of another. According to the police and news reports, he was seriously injured with broken bones, wounds requiring stitches, contusions on his lungs, and bruising across much of the body.

The company let him go less than a week after the accident. Due to needing to attend some medical appointments, he had not been able to resume his full duties in the short amount of time.

Shame to see this happen. Might have been legal (not a lawyer, so no clue,) but it definitely wasn't right.

Giving the fifth star because the new manager is quite friendly and was helpful to talk to.

I started using TR Fitness along with a personal trainer Cheyenne Murray in October 2021. She has helped me improve my fitness knowledge, personal training goals and my overall fitness levels. This is a great gym! I have tried others in the area. This one is very clean and maintenance on machines kept up. Good variety of equipment. Good door system. Tanning beds are a plus. Staff is very friendly and requests are taken care of quickly. No annual contract!!!
If you need personal training to meet your goals Cheyenne is the best around!! I’ve had a membership here since they opened the doors and I’ve never had a bad experience.

I have been using TR Fitness in Neosho for the last year or so as I wanted to improve my overall fitness and health. This gym has been great. It has all the equipment I need, is spacious, and I love the sauna. Cheyenne Murray has been my personal trainer. She is the reason for my much improved physical fitness. Wow dude.. for you to make up a false complaint, after I canceled my membership, and what your trainer did, it really shows what kind of person you are. Interesting how at the same time you also added more 5 star reviews. Grow up. I didn't even ask for a refund.
This was a 3 star review with pros and cons, but I revised strictly because of an unprofessional response. The very short staffed hours make it an inconvenience to speak with a manager, though the one time I did, he was dismissive and condescending. The trainer apparently wants me kicked out because I brought up her offensive music, as that is somehow disrespectful. She then contacted people I know personally to start drama. No thanks.

Great gym for this sized town. Single sauna. Plenty of machine weightlifting equipment. Plenty of cardio machines (some are older). Decent functional fitness area for the trademarked workouts. Two clean new showers. Sometimes the hot water runs out. I wish there were a changing bench and hooks for clothes. It's awkward to change after showering.

Clean and reasonably priced. The tanning beds and sauna are good accessories. A reasonable amount of cardiovascular equipment, cable machines, and free weights. Additional 45lbs plates, an additional flat bench and incline bench, and a couple of safety bars on the rogue set would be great additions that I think are needed now that more people are there. Overall, a good gym and worth visiting.
