Lots of places that help with training, diet, and a variety of philosophies. What I like about the training ground is AJ Partida - owner. His background is fascinating and the man has been through it. The fact that he is so positive, faithful and purposeful - holy cow this man has character. When taking a shot on diet and fitness, he's the kind of guy and this is the kind of organization i trust.

The Training Ground is a place that is changing lives for the better! If you want to lose fat, gain muscle, learn more about nutrition and functional movement and meet AMAZING people, this is definitely a place to check out. I was not dealing well with my pandemic stress and found myself out of shape, stressed and unhappy with the whole situation. BUT I got myself into The Training Ground and those group classes got me back on track to reach my health goals. Coach A.J. And Coach Pat make the 5AM class different each day to keep it interesting. I just recently got a wristband celebrating 200 Sessions!!! The workouts are challenging, but the coaches are great at keeping you going with encouragement and proper form, and it feels amazing to know you did it! I even did a session of the G.I. Janes Ladies Lifting club with Coach Jena Partida for some focused strength training and it was a wonderful experience of strength and community among other likeminded ladies. AND they have super fun client appreciation events! I think a gym should be more than somewhere you go, it should be somewhere you belong. That's what I found at The Training Ground!

I cannot say enough good things about The Training Ground!! I started in January because my work outs were getting stale and needed a challenge… every workout is different and challenging. I have been navigating an injury and they are also understanding and always offer alternatives if needed! Jena, AJ, Pat and Jamese are the best!!

I love this gym because it is a community of members. From Day 1 I was greeted by the owners A.J. and Jena Partida. They truly care about what your goals are. They are always improving on ways to help motivate their members and they are always smiling.
The boxing Coach Jamese is also a gym favorite. He is kind and is a wonderful teacher. Even if you have never boxed before he will help you feel comfortable and push you all while making you laugh and feel at ease.
The Training Ground is truly a great place to be. Get ready to sweat and smile! Come and see what you’re missing!

The Training Ground is not your average gym! A.J. and Jena create a welcoming atmosphere for all ages and abilities. You will feel part of the family. Not only will they help your reach your health and fitness goals, they will make sure you do it in a safe way. They focus on proper form, up to date workouts backed by research, and nutritional advice. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get in shape, stay in shape or workout in a social environment. I started going to The Training Ground about 2 months ago, after a friend invited me to try a boxing class. I had gotten I to a funk during quarantine, and was struggling to regain consistency and the spark that I have always had for fitness.

First off, the boxing class itself was fantastic! Appropriate for beginner to advanced, the workout was phenomenal, as was the coaching. I was instantly impressed with the instructor’s level of professionalism, and ability to identify my current level of knowledge, offering small tweaks to refine my technique. Since that first class, I have tried all of the different classes and am hooked!

The instructors, James, Jen, and AJ are second to none. There are no two classes the same, and they are each masters at their craft, creating workouts that can challenge both the mental and physical fitness of their gym family. All 3 are inspiring and engaging, and I have observed their ability to connect with and coach to each member, regardless of where they are at in their fitness journey.

The facility itself is a testament to the pride that the owners, AJ and Jen, take in their business. It is clean, bright, and keeps “the main thing, the main thing”. Additionally, the other members are welcoming, encouraging, and absolutely exemplify the ideal gym family.

As a member of The Training Ground for just 2 months, I have seen an exceptional turnaround in my overall well-being, mentally and physically. I couldn’t recommend The Training Ground any higher.

Working out at The Training Ground is my favorite part of the day! Not only are the trainers so welcoming and fun but everyone in class encourages one another to do your best! I never get bored with the workouts because there’s so much variety! Fit Ops: Amazing! Kickboxing: Fierce! RED WOD: Fun with sandbags! TRX: Feel the burn!

I have felt welcomed from the first day I walked in! They are so knowledgeable and really invest the time to teach out what you need to know and help you improve where you are. No matter what level you are they work with you! They have done amazing with the variety and changes in workouts! It’s the never the same and it’s challenging- I leave with a sense of accomplishment!!! Love it! It’s awesome to have a team to push you to the finish line!!! Jena and AJ are awesome!!!

Top notch trainers! They are very knowledgeable and help focus on form, no matter your level. Great atmosphere and very clean! Boot camps are a great start to my day and each workout is different. The owners truly care about their fit fam, and provide good notes and feedback on programs. It’s definitely a family atmosphere. #strongertogether.
