I strongly recommend professional training with Cory. I don’t think the average person realizes the full potential of their workout until they have had sessions with a physical trainer that understands the true mechanics of the human body. Proper form and a true mind/muscle connection will drive results faster in less time. Cory’s background in functional training and nutrition will drive results that you will see visually and quantitatively using his technology based body scanning system that will graphically chart your progress. You will break through several personal records with Cory because he will push you through to the next level. I can’t say that I can always do this on my own because it’s so easy not to do that last rep when you are not getting pushed to grow. I came to Cory on a referral from Optimal Performance Center after hurting my lower back from a long mountain bike trip because my muscles had gotten weaker and less supportive due to age and sitting in my office most days. I’ve gained all functions back now following Cory’s program.

My bariatric surgeon told me that my weight loss goal was unrealistic and that if I wanted to lose any additional weight, I should increase my protein and find a personal trainer. Since I had never exercised a day in my life, the thought of sweating, getting tired, being sore, and potentially injuring myself sounded awful. Furthermore, the thought of paying someone to push me to do something that I really disliked, sounded insane. Finding the motivation to work out was a problem for me. I was skeptical that I would stick with it. So, I asked Cory if I could sign up for only a month’s membership. I figured that after a few times with a trainer I’d know if this was something I would be willing to continue or not. I made it very clear that I HATE to exercise. The thought of sweating, getting tired, etc. was extremely unappealing to me. If he pushed me too hard or too fast, I would simply quit. Hey, one look at this guy, with those massive biceps, and I just knew that there was no way that me and this fitness thing were ever going to be compatible. Yet my main objective was very strong - lose enough weight so that I could resume my first love – competitive ballroom dancing again. I sent him some dancing videos to help him better design a program for me. Much to my surprise, he actually listened to me.

Before I started, I remember how much effort it took to carry a 40-pound sack of salt for my water softener from my car and put it into the softener. Look at me now! We started out easy, and slowly increased the intensity. The increments were small enough that I really didn’t notice them and small enough that I didn’t feel inclined to quit. This was exactly what I needed to keep me motivated to continue. Because training with him was a positive experience, I felt motivated to work out at home. The results are apparent. I can see muscles on my once blubbery body and my dancing is better now than it was originally. I am very thankful to have found Cory and his willingness to listen to me and design a program that meets my objectives. He has turned me from being a full-time couch potato into someone who actually enjoys fitness.

I have used both Tullock Fitness in-person and while traveling through their fitness app. Best experience! When in person, it's a great one-on-one training session and challenges you to push beyond what you though you could do and ensures your form is correct every rep. When online, the program is tailored to you and what you have available. I was in a hotel gym, and he made a workout plan based on that equipment and my fitness level. He updates the plans frequently with new exercises and weight/rep goals. His communication is beyond what one would expect. He consistently checks in to ensure you are meeting your fitness goals and checking on eating habits and further educating you on proper fitness form and diet. Could not ask for a better trainer! I’m a a former CrossFit goer that thought I had good form and could move a bunch of weight. After working with Cory I realized that I have been putting myself at risk and moving less weight than what’s possible. Not only did my form and strength improve, but with Cory’s suggestions on eating I was able to make a drastic difference in 3 weeks. I lost 2 inches on my hips and nearly 2 inches on my waste! This trainer has made a huge difference in my quality of life. In 4.5 years, I have gone from limited mobility and chronic pain (from a pre-existing back injury) to ZERO pain, greatly increased flexibility, and now I can deadlift at least 225 lbs, bench press 100 lbs, and squat 147.5 lbs. He has also completely changed the way I look at food and nutrition, and caring for my body in general.
