I was in st. Louis visiting my grandma and signed up for a class at this studio. I travel a lot and many yoga studios, once they find out you’re not local and won’t sign up for a monthlong subscription, can treat you coldly or be uninterested. I get it, it’s fine, but it’s never fun.
However, this studio was super nice and friendly to me even after I told them I’m just visiting. They asked me questions and made me feel at home. It made a really nice impression on me and I want to say thanks to the team! The class was really awesome too. I did power with Morgan and it was a great level of challenging + approachable + I learned new poses, which is my favorite part!
So yes overall I was very impressed with my experience at this studio and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Thanks guys!

I'm pissed with the no phone policy with this studio. On October 2 a snatch went and told the instructor that I had my phone in my bag. For that snatch I hope you kick rocks. I will canceling this membership at the end of my 30 days.

I’ve taken two classes here (with Diona and Lucy) and had a great time! I’ve recently been taking classes around St. Louis looking for a new studio to regularly practice and so far the environment they created has yoga six leading the pack. ☺️ can’t wait to take more classes with other instructors too!

Great staff and instructors. The cold towels are delightful and the space is always clean and welcoming. The only downside to classes is the lack of personal space. The allotted spaces for the yoga mats is minimal and you sweat on top of the person next to you. I went for awhile because of all the positives, but the lack of space really got to me, sadly.

I absolutely love YogaSix St. Louis! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. The studio is clean, modern, and has a calming vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly care about your progress, no matter your skill level. I’ve taken a variety of classes—from slow flow to power—and each one leaves me feeling refreshed, strong, and centered. The community here is also incredibly warm and positive. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this place is a gem!

I’ve been a member at YogaSix for almost 10 years. My yoga practice began as a way to decompress and relax after work. Now, thanks to YogaSix, has become an integral part of my well-being and self-care routine. If you are looking for a yoga studio that offers a variety of classes throughout the day, has experienced teachers who can elevate your practice, and provides different types of classes to match your energy and practice level, I highly recommend YogaSix in St Louis.

I really wish I could love this place. It's the closest to my house, it has the physical potential to be fantastic, and some of the instructors are lovely people. Unfortunately, I just can't get excited about going there. -------They pack you in like sardines, so everyone has to place their mats what looks like 4" away from the next person's, or against a window or wall. It's not enough space to even halfway comfortably do a simple supine twist. -------Parking is hard. They sell more spots than available parking facilitates, but the front desk has no knowledge of where to park nearby if you call to say you can't find a spot anywhere. Last time, after arriving fifteen minutes early and circling to find parking in their lot, the side street, and even the hotel next door and the college further down the street, I called 5 min before the class to say please don't charge me, I can't get there because there is no parking to be had. I was instructed to idle until a current class got out and somebody leaves, then go to class late. I did, and had all eyes on me as I stepped over six or seven people to get to the last little sliver of floor space that the teacher pointed to while continuing her script to the class, already underway. It was not a super relaxing or fun way to start. ------If you're stuck with your mat inches from a window or wall, you're looking at the mats coming up at the seams with dirt and dust and nails and hair yuck so I think the rooms aren't cleaned very well. -------- There is no guidance for what to do with communal blocks or blankets. Some people leave them by the closet door, some put them back in the closet with or without wiping down with who knows what. The teachers don't say what's right or wrong. -------Some classes the music is as loud as the teachers voice, or they play music with lyrics so the words compete with the teacher's words and it is hard to focus on what the teacher is saying. ------ That 30 day cancellation notice via email only means almost everyone will wind up paying for a whole month beyond what is desired or needed. They really should change that to 10-15 business days. --------These are all fixable problems. I hope they fix them.

If you’re black please don’t go here!! they’re extremely rude. This was my first time trying hot yoga & the Instructor was extremely rude from the second me and my friend entered the class she looked us up and down and said “you’re not going to fit there with that mat” in a rude tone , and was just hollering out the poses and not showing what to do. Me and my friend gave each other that “let’s leave” look and we headed out as we were walking out of the class the instructor laughed at us, you shouldn’t be instructing if you hate your job I’m not sure of your name but if you were instructing on February 7th 2024 at 2pm it was you. We told the front desk we were going to head out because of the overwhelming unwelcomed feeling she just said fine and took the mats back. We were there for all of 5 minutes Well done yogasix we won’t be returning and I hope anybody that reads this review doesn’t.

Please do not waste your time attending this yoga studio. The front desk personnel was very rude. She ignored me for at least five minutes while she talked and played on the phone. Then refused to let me join the class because she stated I was late, but she was the reason I was late. She then proceeded to let several other yoga members join the class that were non-people of color (white) who arrived at least 5 minutes after me. Please save your energy, especially if you are a black woman or any person of color and go somewhere else.

I came into this place expecting one thing and received an intense work out that was even better. I almost passed out because I underestimated the strength level needed to complete this class. After about 30 minutes, I tried everything that I could think of to escape the physical demands. Thankfully, I was just in time because the instructor began to slow down for the cool down. I can't believe I survived it and afterwards, and I mean quite a few days afterwards I felt like 1 million bucks. If I lived in St. Louis, this would be my yoga spot every week.

Received an offer to do 4 classes for $53.00. I unfortunately didn’t read the fine print and it was a subscription. I was charged $212.00 dollars on top of the $53 I paid initially by the time I noticed. They made it quite difficult to cancel. Unable to cancel online on your account, and can’t be done by calling the location. The studios number is the only one available and someone is not there always during business hours so it took a while for me to get someone. I didn’t find out until I got someone at the location I needed to email someone named Oliva Davis. My experience with Olivia was not a good one. Come to find there’s an 30 day cancellation “notice” that must be given, so they don’t even close your account immediately when you finally find the right person. I went to 1 class the first month, that I didn’t like and never went back, but there was no consideration for a refund of the 2 additional payments of $106.00 a piece for services I obviously didn’t use as I didn’t know I paid for them and didn’t even want use the 3 remaining classes of my 4 I paid $53 for. I actually called the day the of the second charge before I would have even had a chance to use the services for that month and Olivia still wouldn’t even refund that $106.00 payment. Had to dispute with my card company. I kept getting payment due notifications until I called the studio again and got a general manager’s number, who showed a little bit of decency and understanding, given I went to 1 class and was charged nearly $300.00 and helped bring my account to $0 owed. Please be informed this business makes for a tough breakup.

St. Louis is not Manhattan.. there is absolutely no reason why so many yoga students are packed into a tiny room. The designated mat spaces are literally six inches apart from each other. As soon as I realized I would not be able to freely move and twist my body, I wanted to run for the exit, but couldn’t without stepping on other people. Nothing “restorative” about it.
Other things I guess I’ve been taking for granted at other studios that YogaSix lacks:
-any kind of welcome to your first class or rundown by the front desk or instructor
-pose demonstrations, corrections, or modifications (instructor just sat down and called out poses)
-a cell phone free zone
This must just be for people that don’t live in St. Louis and don’t know that there are way better local options for a fraction of the price.

Their best instructors are superb, and I would’ve stayed if they taught more frequently, but it’s the other instructors that ruined my experience.
One instructor sat down with her back on the wall the entire class, giving disjointed instructions while drinking Starbucks. Another could not do 80% of the movements she called out and the pace suffered as a result.

I tried the hot yoga for the first time at this place. Yoga instructor seemed nice. It felt great afterwards. It was hard at first to concentrate due to the fast tempo music. Honestly, the music played that day doesn’t go well with the yoga. Prefer slower music to help with focusing, being more mindful and actually hearing the instructor.

I’m not totally new to yoga but hadn’t been to a class in well over a year due to the pandemic and living abroad. This studio made me feel comfortable and supported as I transitioned into classes again post lock down. They offer a variety of class styles and once you find a rhythm, the classes stay consistent in terms of level. This consistency means I never have to worry about trying a new class or feeling inadequate since I know what to expect. The instructors and other class goers are open, focused and caring. I never worry about if I’m good enough and anyone near by can help answer questions for me. The spaces are super clean and the team is respectful of any last minute changes due to concerns about the pandemic or emergencies for cancellations. I love my new yoga home!

Unfortunate. As a previous client said, poor parking availability can lead to coming late to classes. I, like him, arrived 3 minutes late to a deep stretch class and was barred as well. I understand that you can't come in during the first 3 minutes of "studio announcements" if the room needs to be certain temperatures and/or you need to use some equipment. I don't think a deep stretch class falls into this category. Also just to keep in mind; most clients don't live for yoga classes (even though I really enjoy them) but yoga studios live on clients' satisfaction and happiness and, luckily, St. Louis area has many great yoga facilities to choose from.

The worst yoga studio experience because there was no experience. There was no warning when we booked online about how hard it is to find parking. After we drove around for 10 mins and finally found parking, we were barred from going into the class because we arrived 3 mins after the class had started. There was no notice for this policy on ClassPass and we were deferred to take another class. We’re frustrated because there was no warning about the late arrival policy when we booked the class online nor did we read any warning about the lack of parking. Does not feel like Yoga Six have thoughtfully considered its client experience thoroughly.

I love this place! Classes are a little pricey, but they have such a great variety of classes. And all classes are in somewhat warm rooms, which really helps with stretching. They are also a lot more laid back than bikram yoga when it comes to rules. One downside is the music is too loud in some classes and instructors don't have mics so it's hard to hear instructions if you're in the back of the room. Another downside is that classes can get pretty full and you have to try to not bump into your neighbor while doing poses.

I absolutely love this location. I started my yoga practice here and have had the best experience learning and growing. Some of my favorite classes are Reshma's Deep Stretch and Power Yoga because she's just an amazing person, and is always willing to stay and help walk me through my questions so I feel how to make proper adjustments. I also really enjoy Michele's Boot Camp class because she makes sweating your butt off actually fun. I just really enjoy the family environment that they foster there, and that everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking for a great place start or further your practice.

Very happy with the Des Peres studio overall. Some of the classes have peculiar music styles (too loud, too poppy, too rock-n-roll), but for the most part, the classes are great. My only criticism is that almost EVERY class is heated. I wish there were more "traditional" yoga classes for those into it. Customer service is great, facility is clean. Teachers are very helpful and flow sequences/poses are no joke.

The only yoga studio I've ever been in where the desk staff pay special attention to your needs and goals! The teachers are vibrant and make the place feel warm and inviting for me to explore my practice. ❤️

Great teachers, beautiful studios and changing rooms and I've only ever had warm happy feelings when I go.
Justin is my fave and Sarah rocks too, but there are so many teachers, you'll definitely find one who you mesh with.

I can't say enough good things about Yoga Six. The place is usually quite clean, a very peaceful atmosphere, and the classes are lovely. The teachers are helpful and open to questions, always wanting to assist as you grow your practice. The environment is welcoming, no matter where you may be in your yoga practice, you aren't judged and are given space to excel. I don't want to practice anywhere else!

First impressions are lasting. best physical studio in St. Louis. Friendly staff, clean and upscale locker rooms with everything you need except a towel - which I dont doubt that they will lend you. if you forget your mat they will rent an upscale Manduka mat for 2 bucks. studio was full so get there early to secure a spot. Great first time deal with 6 free classes and 30% off incentive to purchase a card before expiration. I will return.

I freaking love this place, there is NOTHING like it in our area. Yoga Six has 2 practice rooms, beautiful locker rooms with showers that are fully stocked, the staff is friendly, they have tons of class each day, etc. It is a hot studio but they have plenty of non-heated classes too, which is great. I tend to go for the hot classes but LOOOOVE the vinyasa. Plus students get 6 free classes - totally worth it - and then a discount the first purchase. Highly recommend
