The yoga experience is thoughtfully curated, with intentional studio design and engaging guides. Our instructor guided us through poses with helpful suggestions and encouragement, creating a strong sense of community. Classmates feel like family, familiar with each other’s names, energy, and even loved ones.
Thank you, Carolina—I’m lucky to know you.

This yoga studio has been transforming. These teachers always have a beautiful routine down and are so encouraging as your practice with them. Teachers make you feel welcome and care about your experience throughout the entire session. My favorite thing about these teachers is their focus on the breath and how it works with you. They really know their stuff.

I've done yoga for many years and when I moved up to Montana I was looking for a studio to continue my practice in. I found curative yoga and Carolina and have never looked back. I've never felt so comfortable and welcome in a place. She is the most incredible teacher and has helped my practice so much. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone wanting to start or to continue to practice.

So grateful to have found Curative Yoga in the heart of Bigfork. The classes have something for everyone, whether you are a seasoned Yogi or just beginning your Yoga journey. The combination of breath work and body work is perfectly incorporated into each class, and the focus on being “actively calm and calmly active” is a little gift you can even take home with you! If you’re looking for a quality Yoga experience, this is the place for you.

It was my first time going to a yoga class today and i loved it! Karolena was so nice and welcoming and gave me plenty of freedom to take it easy and work to the best of my ability. i liked that showed me how to improve my form and was polite about asking if she could move my arm or leg to make the stretch better. i will definitely come back!

Please Note: This is not your average physical workout or "free-form" yoga class. Gifted and dedicated yogi’s, Carolina, and Naader have carefully designed a creative and focused Hatha yoga flow with complementing breath-work to release the mind allowing the body achieve strength, flexibility, and focus. The intent is to calm the mind, quite the body and reach for inner peace. This is a tall order requiring work (and it is work…), commitment and fortitude. The more I learn about yoga the more I realize it is a way of being and not just a trendy workout with great clothes. If you are serious about taking the next step in your yoga practice, I am pleased to recommend Carolina and Naader to guide you on your journey. Have an open mind and an open heart. Namaste

I’ve been doing yoga for over 10 years and I’ve never had a class where you did not warm up even for a few minutes. I did not appreciate that. The instructor was requiring every one to be doing exactly what she was asking… There was no freedom in choosing what our body needed for that moment in fact, if you were not doing what she was asking, she would call you out on it… or physically come over and put you into the position… I’m used to a little bit more respect where the teacher will ask beforehand if its ok to make adjustments during class. I will not be returning.

I stumbled into the Curative studio 6 months after a double lung transplant, and started slowly :-)
One of my vertebrae was also partially broken in the operation.
After approximately 140 Curative classes over the past 16 months my 60 yr old body feels to be in more amazing condition than EVER. I’ve never been this comfortable in my body. My most recent pulmonary test reported 127% lung function, among the best numbers doctors have seen post lung transplant. Curative indeed!
This yoga has helped heal and re-sculpt my body/mind far more than I expected to be possible.
Curative yoga seems to be a distillation of the most useful asanas from classic Hatha. It moves and works the full body athletically, but not like the fast pace of a vinyasa flow class (which I don't care for). There is a nice balance between movement and stillness. It can be both gentle and quite strenuous. There are different skill levels and body types in class that all seem to be accommodated by the work.
As a licensed massage therapist (Deep Postural Integration) for 36 years, I would describe this sequence as perfectly balanced yoga for the human structure. It is not easy.
There is a lot of focus is on breathing and life-force (my description) infusing every nerve and cell of the body. It brings alive my body electric consistently and cumulatively.
Classes have much more of a spiritual feel than an athletic/ego type yoga class. It's more fully embodied, experiential spirituality more than intellectual dogmatic. There is often laughter in class too, which is fun and lightening.
The depth of teachers' Carolina and Naader's spiritual devotion permeates the classes and comes across simply as love and wisdom.
It inclusive of all religions and spiritual traditions from Christian to Buddhism, so it doesn’t feel cult-like. Many teachings from the time honored lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi).
Not only have I found yoga that is healing and lightening my whole being, but also a spiritual community and friendships that my soul has craved for decades. Deep gratitude for Curative Yoga.

The classes at Curative Yoga are spectacular. They combine all the physical aspects of yoga with the mental. They focus on breathing techniques that help the body rid itself of stress and steer the mind toward higher levels of thought, which clear away the chatter and help put life’s challenges into perspective. I leave class feeling, mentally and physically, scrubbed clean.
