I joined the 6 week free challenge. When signing up I should have reminded myself nothing is free. I went to 3 classes a week, but got sick within the 6 weeks. I struggled with the diet plan as well. Anyway considering I did not make my goal of Losing body fat I am out 600 dollars. I honestly felt forced into it. The way Josh talks is like a car sales man. He goes so fast you can barely keep up. Just know this program is not free, and is not affordable for most people. I did enjoy most of the classes though. As for free it’s just not! Unless you make your goal.

I did the 6 week challenge and really enjoyed the classes. They are great for anyone at any level. The mindset training takes about 15 minutes a day and the food plan is high in protein- might be difficult for those who don’t eat meat/vegan. Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend for anyone who wants to kick start their healthy habits.

Missoula Movement and Mindset is no joke... If you are serious about your overall health, this is the place to be. You work on your movement, your mind and your nutrition! The coaches check in with you, answer questions and offer guidance along the way to a more physically and mentally fit, healthier you. The atmosphere is positive and fun, and the coaches, instructors and members are friendly and welcoming to all. I definitely recommend giving Missoula Movement and Mindset a try!

My fiancé and I are in week 5 of the 6 week challenge and it looks like we are gonna make it! MMM has a lot of great aspects like the small class size, educated instructors, and complete nutritional coaching. The six week challenge is super strict but a great way to jumpstart a health journey. I have taken most of my classes and coaching with Andrew and he is great! He’s super knowledgeable and his puns make me laugh a lot. His personality is lively and he explains the complicated work-out movements really well. There is no weight shaming and everyone is really supportive about making improvements every day. The main downside to MMM is the gimmicky and pressured sales techniques used by josh. The “free” six week challenge is actually 599.00 dollars upfront with the chance to get it back if you lose 20 lbs or 5% body fat percentage. I think it’s an awesome idea to have skin in the game and the money has absolutely kept my fiancé and I accountable. Every week of the six week challenge you get a check in with a professional coach that is really helpful and informative but on our third weekly check in, josh gave us a rapid fire high pressure sales pitch for a three month membership. We were interested in signing up except josh insisted that the only chance we had to make a huge financial commitment (at a certain price) was if we signed up that day. Josh also tried to get a verbal commitment from us that we wanted to sign up before even telling us the price. Josh lays out the “value” of a 3-month membership at $7000 before telling you some very discounted price. We didn’t even get to the actual price before I said I wouldn’t sign up if I had to say yes that day. MMM has a lot to offer and is a great gym but the pressured decision and Josh’s sales pitch really made me uncomfortable so I said no. I am grateful for the jumpstart to our fitness journey.

I truly enjoyed my six-week challenge experience at MMM. It was a great jump start for my personal health goals. The program focuses on nutrition, movement and mindfulness. The coaches and instructors are supportive, personable and knowledgeable. They are the heart of MMM and it is clear that they care about client well-being. The classes are fun & challenging, the meditations & mental exercises thought provoking, and the approach to diet is sensible. I agree with another reviewer that the up-sale to continue with the gym was jarring. I had a bit of sticker shock and the sales pitch felt a bit infomerical-esque; other than that I would happily offer a 5+ star rating. I encourage others to try MMM and see if it is a good fit :)

I am a 52 year old post-menopausal woman. The past few years my waistline has steadily thickened, health issues have cropped up, and this past winter my weight and cholesterol both increased substantially. I have eaten basically healthy and been quite active most of my life but my efforts had faded in recent years. I knew it was time to do something to regain my health and fitness so I signed up at MMM. Best decision ever! The approach to workouts is unique and makes so much sense. Absolutely loved my 3X a week classes, and I have gained strength and stability. The diet was tough at first but I stuck with it and, since the cravings passed, I have grown to love it. (I did add a small amount of healthy fats)
In 37 days I have lost 14 lbs, 8% body fat, and 4 inches off my waist!!! My energy has increased. I am sleeping like a baby for the first time in many years. My arthritis symptoms are diminished by 75%. I would absolutely recommend this program for anyone, but especially women in midlife who are struggling with health issues.

I really enjoy the classes and the entire concept of improving body mechanics and including mindfulness in the process of creating new habits. I am nearing completion of the 6-week challenge and I am seeing results in several areas of my life. It's not just about temporarily losing weight, it's about creating sustainable changes in lifestyle to be able to maintain and consistentently improve my physical, nutritional, and mental health and fitness. I have finally learned how to meal plan and prep to sustain a healthy diet every day. I have lost fat and gained muscle, which is my goal, but also learned new methodologies in creating a strong and healthy body for life. And I have gained some valuable tools in training my mind for success not just in fitness but life in general.
I do wish that the large "accountability" deposit was presented in a more upfront way, like in the advertisements instead of the end of the orientation. However, I decided that it was worth it to me for the sustainable changes I am making for myself.

My husband and I joined MMM at the same time. We completed the program around the end of October. My husband wasn’t ready for the experience yet. Looking back I probably was into the MMM program 60% of the of the 6week challenge.
For me the weight loss was the biggest part of the program. I did lose 10lbs. I learned that I can exercise without past injury pain or arthritis pain. I have better balance and coordination. I now crave vegetables and I have been exercising on my own with the help of the MMM videos on the web site.
Two months later and a holiday that has pasted I have kept the 10 lbs off. I’ve learned some life long skills that I’ll be able to maintain the rest of my life.

I was surprised how much I like this program. It is truly more than just a workout program. It integrates whole body exercise with the rest of yourself, making it a lesson in consciousness, awareness, goal-setting, kindness (to yourself, your body, and others), as well as strength and conditioning. Some of the interesting features: Steel Mace Yoga - makes yoga into a workout; one-on-one coaching calls - makes you know someone will be checking in so keeps you from forgetting to do the workouts; daily checklists - helps you know what to do to stay consistent. This place is extremely wonderful if you give yourself the chance to take that step and invest in your well being. Both physically and mentally, I have changed for the better in such a short amount of time. I took the 6 week challenge on a whim because my body felt sore and achy all the time and I didn’t have the best self image either about myself. I had no energy to do the things I loved because I was so exhausted from work all the time. This course teaches you mindfulness and self love for yourself both physically and mentally through mindset changes, nutrition, and exercise. I’ve improved in so many ways. I cannot tell you how much I am grateful that I came across this opportunity randomly in a Facebook ad. It must have been fate.

Missoula Movement and Mindset has been a lifesaver for me physically and energetically. I’ve had a lot of physical injuries from riding horses and motorcycles growing up and in my young adulthood.

I tore both rotator cuffs being thrown from horses and I have hyper flexible joints to start with. I’ve sprained my ankles and wrists and knees many times in sports and regular life and I’ve had whiplash more times than I can count. I was in a car wreck when I was pregnant with my son 11 yrs ago and blew out my L-5 disc. A fall from ice on concrete steps 4 years ago chipped a bone in my elbow and compressed the lower discs in my neck and I’ve been unable to ride my motorcycle or mountain bike or go 4-wheeling over rough terrain ever since.

After 5 weeks of classes my shoulders and neck are more pain free and stronger than I ever dreamed possible. The coaching and support around food and meditation have been life changing too. I’ve never been able to do Down Dog or a proper Chaturanga in yoga without pain, EVER. My last Strength Yoga with Steel Mace class I was able to do Down Dog without pain in the posture or afterwards and I am getting close to a full Chaturanga.

It blows my mind how quickly I’m gaining strength and keeping the flexibility I gained in hot yoga over the last 7 years. My joints, including my wrists are getting stronger and stabilizing in ways I didn’t believe were possible. I gave my husband the longest massage I’ve ever been able to tonight and my wrists and hands didn’t hurt afterwards.

My mind is blown and I am eternally grateful to Coach Josh and his team. Coach Josh has an immense amount of knowledge about the correct posture for each exercise & how to activate the proper muscles to avoid injury in yoga and strength training. He has helped me more in 5 weeks than all the other yoga instructors I’ve ever taken class from. I would HIGHLY recommend Missoula Movement and Mindset to anyone looking to lose weight, get back in shape, or to introduce mindfulness and meditation to their physical practice.

This program has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. It not only gets you more active and eating healthier, but also makes you reach down into your mind and soul. It has given me a chance to find and take care of myself which I forgot how to do long ago. I found this program at the perfect time to turn everything around. I’m in week 5 of the 6 week challenge and I’m extremely happy with the program. The coaches are motivating and knowledgeable and they pay close attention to technique, often suggesting corrections to avoid potential injuries. I feel like I’ve learned more from them in 4 weeks than I had over 25 years going to other gyms and classes. The workouts are fun and always start with breathing, stretching and rolling practices. The only negative for me is the monthly cost, but if I can figure out a way to swing it I would love to continue working out with Josh, Jules, Andrew and Apollo at MMM.

Just wrapped up week 4 of the six week challenge. This was much more than I expected: the community support and accountability is awesome, it’s a small enough program that the advice and training are personalized, there is enough variety of classes that there’s something for everyone and best of all I actually saw results. I would 100% recommend this group for anyone looking for a workout without the gym feel. The challenge was a great way to dive in because you also get coaching for healthy diet and one on one training (ie I got some good tips that helped me loosen up a couple old injuries for better mobility).

A very knowledgeable and innovative group, their venue is small, but for sure it will grow. The amount of classes available have expanded even since I've started. I have had such a great time and experience with MMM. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and very encouraging. The classes are super fun and empowering you walk out wanting more. The people who attend bring so much positive energy it makes the classes more intense. Over the last 5 weeks I shed a ton of inches, lost some weight and gained muscle. THIS! is what I needed and the timing was perfect. I had lost most of my flexibility, mobility and range of motion over the last several years. Exercise meant pain so I avoided it. I joined the challenge in May. Five weeks later I have significant gains in my strength and mobility. I love the classes. They are very challenging and appropriate. There are always modifications or progressions, to meet you at your level. The instructors/coaches are phenominal and the whole community and accountability piece is an integral part of my success.
