I had the honor of joining Kristin & Katie at the Spirit of Nature Solstice Retreat which they hosted in June 2025 at the Homestake Lodge in Whitehall, MT. They created a warm and inviting experience for both me and my 3-year-old son. They quickly created a sense of community for the retreat participants, through thoughtfully led discussions. Kristin provided wonderful all-levels yoga classes. Katie provided fantastic individually tailored acupuncture treatments. My kiddo was in kind, loving hands with the babysitters and the older kids. I loved watching him run around and play freely, with everyone in the community keeping an eye. The family that owns & operates the lodge was warm, engaging, and provided delicious food throughout the week. Overall, it was a 5-star experience for us, and I am already dreaming about the next time we can attend a retreat with Kristin & Katie.

I cannot say enough positive things about Mountain Yoga!

I have been going here for almost a year now and have taken classes with many of the instructors. It's always a calm environment with extremely friendly people. If you're an avid yogi the $30 for your first 30 days is an incredible deal, I would highly recommend it.

Just a few side notes,

Each instructor is different, sometimes you will be listening to more traditional music while you practice, other times you'll be jamming out to Imagine Dragons. If you are new to practicing, call ahead of time to see which class would be best for you, or let the instructor know you're new to yoga and they will be happy to help you out in any way possible.

If you are looking for a studio that'll make you chuckle once or twice throughout a practice, come here, it is honestly a great time. You'll sweat, try new poses (You 100% don't have to do this if you're not comfortable though, there is no pressure to push yourself or show off here), and come out of there feeling the best you have all week.

One more thing, Fridays there is a $5 Happy Hour class. It is (usually) taught by Kristen, who has a somewhat unique practice. It will usually go for a bit more than an hour (More Yoga! Yay!), but her class is different than any class you will have ever taken. I highly recommend trying it out.

Such a truly lovely space & energy. I teach her because it is so welcoming and accessible. I practice here because each teacher is unique and highly qualified. I learn from each class and always walk away feeling at home and refreshed. It’s one of those studios that truly feels like every body is a yoga body!
