I cancelled my subscription in person 4 months ago, kept getting charged, went in person AGAIN to cancel, got charged. I was told there was no cancel documentation and I would get refunded. After asking for the manager multiple times and being told he was busy, I didn’t get refunded and have to pay AGAIN.

Employees are worthless. Went in to start a membership and the child at the desk told me he didn’t want to sign me up and he would prefer if I did it myself online or on the app. What the hell is the point of having employees then? They don’t clean, don’t sign you up, no help at all. Wanted my bank info, seriously? Rec center just wants my card, much safer. The only reason any place wants your bank info is so they can steal from you, make it more difficult to stop your membership.

I have been a member at planet fitness for 2 years now, and had been an actively looking for a replacement gym because this location was always dirty with broken equipment, to include bathroom essentials. Months before toilets or soap dispensers were replace or repaired. Since the new manager, Jessica, took over, the gym is consistently clean, items are repaired in a timely manner and she takes the time to talk to customers to resolve issues and meet their needs. She is pleasant and polite to deal with. A step up with the management and staff that was definitely needed.

I have been trying to cancel my membership at this location for a while now. I had spoken to previous managers seem not wanting to take the time and understanding of my situation as I have moved out of the state of Montana 2 years ago.
I followed instructions for the cancellation process and no luck and got charged again.

I called again today and a manager by the name of Jessica with great service and attention took the time to help me resolve my situation to cancel my membership. I am very pleased to know to trust that she will follow and continue with my cancellation.

I purchased a membership for my son based sheerly on the promotional handout given to me by an employee, in person. The sheet did not mention an enrollment fee ($29) or an annual fee ($49) but only $15 a month with no committment, I have the paper. Their website offered a $1 enrollment fee, but apparently I did not sign up through "the right link" so I ended up with a $29 fee instead. I had to cancel the membership as he went to jail and asked for an explanation of the charges. The worker told me that if/when he gets out, I will have to pay the enrollment fee ($49) again.

I called to speak to the manager who was kind and explained the above details, but offered no resolution. She did say that if we need to re-instate the enrollment there will not be a need to pay the enrollment fee again. I recommend they let their employees know. Apparently the first worker was supposed to write the amounts on the sheet but failed to.

I highly recommend a better onboarding of employees and a better new hire training plan.

Knowing what I know now I would not have chosen Planet Fitness. However, my son says " the facility is ok".

I have a membership and my girlfriend use to but cancelled because she lives out of state and only is here a couple weeks out of the year. As she was in town this week, one of the employees reinstated her guest pass and told my girlfriend she would be good for the remainder of the week while she was in town. When she went in the next day, a different employee would not let her in and said she is only allowed 1 guest day pass. Although frustrated, it is fine, I understand he was just following company policy. However, when we tried to pay the $20 for a day pass they said their card reader does not work. She tried to pay with cash and they said they do not accept cash. They offered no solution and turned her away without any incentive to come back. I called to talk to the manager about the situation hoping she would understand the concept of customer service; she did not. They have lost my business.

This morning I was trying to pay my bill and a employee named EMMA got very rude and ignorant with me. When I was told how much next month's bill would be I looked at my workout partner and said I might have to find a different gym now. EMMA said in a very rude voice, "THATS NOT MY PROBLEM. When Allison came over I told her what happned and EMMA got condescending and started smiling at me like the situation was funny. EMMA started yelling at me an I told her she shouldn't speak to customers that way an she told me "ITS MY RIGHT". She tried kicking me an threatened to call the cops on me. This was very embarrassing and I've been going to this gym a long time now. Allison and Austin were a big help and Ty talked with me and told me to talk to their manager. Something needs to be done about this. I did nothing but try and pay my bill. Me my wife and workout partner are really considering finding a different gym.

I absolutely love planet fitness! We go about 3 days a week. Every time we walk through the door the receptionists are so kind and funny! We love them. Whether we're working out or getting a massage they always make sure to check in on us and leave us laughing. If we need help with absolutely anything they have our backs. All of the equipment is clean and in great condition and you always see people cleaning after use. The locker rooms are a 5/5 stars too! Whether you're in there to shower or simply put stuff in a locker. There's always fun music playing and TV's on as well so no lack of entertainment anywhere. Overall 10/10 would recommend and have been!

Good gym. Can't really beat the price and availability. Staff is friendly and the equipment is usually clean. I think there's way too many treadmills and ellipticals that never get used. Especially considering those areas could house more benches, which are always hard to get, or machines like the pec deck. They definitely need another pec deck because there's been a few times I had to leave without getting to use it there were so many people lined up.

Really wish they would better enforce the policy of wiping down the machines after using! A lot of younger kids/adults are not giving the rest of us this courtesy and it sucks that members are having to enforce this instead of the employees! I pay to come here, work out, and not stress about getting an infection!!!!

The problem I have is that the staff here is that they are too afraid to talk to members and the response I got last night was that while it is only a courtesy to wipe down the machines, we cannot make people wipe them down as we already thoroughly go over them. That may be true although I have only seen the employees wipe down the cardio equipment and not the weight machines not to say they don't already do this outside business hours. I just hate the snarky attitudes and my concern not being validated by your employees. Would love to speak to the owner or store manager to further clarify things

I just recently joined after moving to great falls. Everyone has been exceptionally friendly and helpful, expect for today May 22 when I had to deal with “Zack” working the morning shift. I always asked for 15 minutes after my work out on the hydro machine and he told me he couldn’t do it because they were busy. I took pictures of the area and no one was there; you can check the cameras it was 10:20am. I work in the hospitality industry as a travel corporate manager and if he is your trainer, you may want to check his customer service skills because he made me feel like I was begging, when in fact I am paying for that benefit. Planet fitness has an amazing reputation and Zack needs to learn people skills. He was also at the front letting the phone ring because he was talking to other people. I will had never hired someone like him to represent my establishment. I am still going to speak to his manager AJ since another coworker even mentioned to me that he is rude as well to her. Zack was so unprofessional, I witnessed him telling the customer he was helping after me something that made her turned and look at me and laughed; but that’s his insecurities and need to be accepted. I swear that if it wasn’t for the need to work out at a decent place, I will cancel my membership because of him; but Planet Fitness is a different entity on its own and they should pull out the bad weed or train him better to be an ambassador of Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness (PF) has really become my go-to place as I kick off 2023. It’s clean and open at times that I can go and not feel like I’m crowded. To be sure, I like this gym so much I bought my wife a membership so we can go together. The only issue I have is that there isn’t a reduced cost family membership. Otherwise, it’s a top-notch gym for those who want to stay fit/get fit and have a varied schedule. The PF mobile app is very helpful in finding gyms when I travel because with the full membership I can use any PF nationwide! The app is easy to use and has lots of features. Great job PF! Come get your fitness on at Planet Fitness!

The lunk alarm is a pretty dangerous solution. On paper it sounds like a good idea to " callout toxic gym behavior " but the reality is that sure you sound the LA when someone is being a chugger for downing there 1 gallon water bottle! But those who are in depth of hyper focus on there work out like for instance some one could be lifting and for some reason the Lunk alarm goes off ( god forbid) it could straddle the one lifting which in turn could result dropping the weight on said lifter resulting in serious foot injury and other injuries or property damage. Using a siren to call out "toxic gym behavior" is pretty dangerous altogether I certainly hope you all can find a better alternative to the lunk alarm!

Chain gym, staff is welcoming and the machine selection is good and kept in good order. Catering more towards entry level and everyday goers, they do not have large free weights, ie barbells, so exercises like deadlifts, squats and true bench press are not possible, however they have 4 Smith machines that offer similar experience but not as physically rewarding, albeit safer and less intimidating. Can get busy at times, so plan ahead.

This was a decent gym before covid. Soon as covid hit they decided to become one of the fascist companies that demand everyone walk in wearing a mask. This makes no sense at all because once you start working out and you're huffing and puffing you don't have to wear one. Makes zero sense and doesn't do anything to stop the spread.

I go to fit republic now and absolutely love it. They have a daycare for my kiddos while I workout, it's a bigger gym with classes available, it's comparable in price to planet fitness and there is more equipment. Best of all though, I'm not supporting a company that I ethically disagree with.

I have had a membership with these guy's twice now and wouldn't recommend any other gym! I give them a 10/10. The staff are great and very helpful! This really is a judgement free workout zone! Keep up the great work! Thanks for always being helpful!!

Not really a fan of PF. I'm here for business and there is no anytime fitness in the area. Just hope I don't have problems canceling my membership when I leave. Also the first gym I've ever been to with no scales.
