The staff is very helpful. The water aerobics are fun and energetic. It's a great place to work out, especially if you're just starting.

We celebrated my son's birthday and it was a wonderful place to host a party! The room was clean and large enough to accommodate a big group of kids (we had approximately 12-14 5th grade boys). The pool provides decorations included in the cost of the party, but you can bring your own if you prefer. A wonderful feature is the use of a fridge and full sink in the party room.

The times we've been prior to the party, we've always been pleased. The facility is beautiful, always clean, and the lifeguards are attentive and always pay close attention to the kids. We have not made use of a membership yet, but likely will this winter. Definitely worth the visit and investment!

They were very helpful when asked for accommodation for my father’s disability while he was visiting in town. We discussed what was reasonable and how the accommodation could be made without disrupting other patrons. I appreciate the empathy and care shown that allowed my Dad to watch his grandson swim during his first swim meet.

I signed my child up for a event. The same day I signed him up, he broke his wrist. Obviously, he can't do the event. I went into the facility to get a refund. I was told a manager has to approve the refund. I left my name and number, two days later I get a call, stating they will do a credit but not a refund. They asked if that worked, I said no due to us never using their facility and the fact that he will be casted for quite a while and won't need a credit. She very rudely told me she would need to talk to a manager above her. I have yet to hear anything. That was two almost three weeks ago. I dont know if I'll be getting a refund or not.

Horrible customer service, very rude employees. When I applied for a new membership, they said they'd call us, but they never did. Well, I'm not interested anymore if this is how they treat customers.

Now that the elevator is functioning, and Sauna up and running, I absolutely love this place, you have a mixture of dye hard body builders down to the spunky Golden members. I love taking the class Aqua Zumba with Melody, she's funny and engaging with her fun spirit. Yes it gets busy but people are very accomidating and friendly better than any other workout place, they have amazing staff, who care about your well being.

It's a pretty nice location. A welcome addition to our community. I will say the Olympic pool was uncomfortably cold but the smaller kids pool had a good temperature. The steam room is nice or I guess technically it's a dry sauna, they have a great basketball court, with a walking track above. I will say though at least today the chlorine levels in the kids pool were way way too high. I had severe eye troubles for the rest of the day unlike any pool I've ever been in. And i was a lifeguard. Someone really needs to check the levels in that pool as I almost ended up in a walk-in care It was so bad and had to have my son drive me home. Other than that I highly recommend this place

I was excited to join a brand new gym but was disappointed that every time I go, there is at least one piece of equipment that is out of order. We're into the middle of August but the website still lists the July class schedule. I wish there was more of a variety of group classes available. Fans in the area of the fitness equipment would be greatly appreciated -- I get so hot that I feel like I'm going to pass out! I'll keep going, but it's pretty disappointing to be having these issues with a brand new facility.

Me & my fiance & cousin in law bought a day pass to use for the pools. As we were only in there for a hour there was a male lifeguard that came on shift who was super sick (sneezing, coughing pretty hard) who was walking around the lap pool & spit a huge Lougie in the pool on the right side. We got disgusted so we moved to the rec pool & we were in the lazy river, 30 mins later he comes in to switch with the current lifeguard on shift & proceeds to go ahead and spit another lougie in the lazy river part. We got out immediately & were done for the day. We went to front desk & told him about it & how we were leaving early since our trip was ruined. They didn’t seem to care or say they were gonna do anything about it so we called the health department. Hopefully something gets rectified about this situation as it’s gross as hell. Especially with spitting in a pool full of kids & pregnant women :/

I love going to this gym but have a few suggestions. I’m not sure how often the gym gets cleaned but there is a fly on the step that has been there since I joined. Also the treadmills are filthy. I took pictures. I am hoping someday the gym will have fans since it is already hot and there are no blinds on the windows.

Well still no better. Treadmills just keep getting more dust!! When does the elevator and sauna get fixed? guess my next step is the health department, not that it would do any good since you are all affiliated. I will be go back to the Peak where they clean all day long.

I joined due to the facility being in my neighborhood. Being new, of course I expected the machines to work correctly and being clean. Week after week the machines did not get fixed so the experience was not good. I find the members are great at cleaning the machines after use, but it seems the workout area, floors and stairs are not cleaned. The dust and hair in and around machines are a turn off. I'm guessing the floors are swept, but window sills, stairs and floors not washed. I'd like to contine going, but the maintenance and cleaning will need to get better. Could use more storage cubicles upstars.
There is confusion on courts, times and availabilities. I think that's been given attention to clarify times available. Not to just find out when you arrive.
I enjoy the pools, the Sauna has been closed for a long time.
The dressing rooms have a drainage problem. The water puddles near the lockers verses flowing to 1 drain.
I am hoping for better upkeep to maintain this New facility. So many can enjoy going upstairs.
I light the light, but not to be blinded by the sun in windows in workout area. It gets extremely hot and uncomfortable. No curtains or shades. Fans would be great in the workout areas.

Didn’t Malmstrom pay for most of this? Why did scheels put its name on it?
Not enough equipment or variety, shouldn’t have to wait this long.
As bad as it is it’s still better than the peak.

This place is an absolute joke. The lifting equipment is sub par. The management is less than accommodating. The only decent thing is the pool and that's barely above sub par

We did a birthday package and it was absolutely amazing! Great and helpful staff. Big room right next to the pool, with big windows to be able to see the kids. Tables and chairs all set up before hand. I highly recommend this place!

Came to the new aquatic center to swim. The cost was outrageous. For 1 adult and 2 kids under 7 cost us $32. I will never return due to the cost. Could visit the water park with way more slides and fun for less. As we were leaving several workers were standing around at the front desk. Not very good customer service either. Will not recommend. This is sad as so much of the city's tax dollars went to build this facility for all to enjoy.

I didn't like having to give all my personal information. The chlorine smell was way too strong. We didn't enjoy the slide - too dark, small & slow. Two people couldn't just go up the steps to the top of the slide at the same time - they make the next person in line wait down at the bottom. The pool was quite chilly. You can't relax in the lazy river. The jets aren't set right so it makes you slam into the side of the pool in spots. It was a weird/uncomfortable experience & we left sooner than we'd planned. We won't be going back to this pool. Highly disappointed - miss the natatorium... This is not an upgrade for Great Falls.

A lot of things were not thought out well. The acoustics in the gym are horrible and you can never hear your opponents say the Pickleball score. There are about five different colors of lines on the floors that make it very difficult to keep track of your boundaries. And if you are on the side of the court facing east, it is hard to see the ball coming at you because of the big bright windows. Another small issue is there is not a little machine to ring out your swim suit when you’re done and if you have arthritis in your hands that makes it a little bit difficult. We joined anyway, so that we could support it, hoping they will do something about some of those issues. We are making the best of it, though, as we should.

This place was over-hyped
The price is ridiculous for what you get
The ceiling was leaking, the walls are cracked and the staff is horribly rude
Save your money and go to another facility

Scheels Aim High is hands down the best gym in town for me and my fitness needs. As a single dad of three kids, finding a gym that works for both me and my family is a game changer. This place checks all the boxes. My kids love coming here because there’s so much to do—swimming, basketball, pickleball, and even working out if they’re over 12 (with a parent) on the third floor. The pools and waterslide alone keep them entertained for hours while I get a solid workout in.

The environment here is incredible—welcoming, friendly, and completely judgment-free. The staff is always kind and helpful, and you never feel out of place, no matter where you’re at in your fitness journey. I’m 35 and just starting to get back into shape, and it’s great to feel like I can go at my own pace without pressure.

The gym is loaded with everything you could want. While they have free weights, I love the huge selection of machines—they make it easy to target every muscle group. On top of that, there are tons of cardio options, including Peloton bikes, so you’ll never have to wait for equipment. They even offer a variety of group classes downstairs, from CrossFit and cycling to aerobics and yoga (though I haven’t tried those yet). Oh, and there’s a sauna I’m looking forward to trying someday!

Honestly, I’ve had memberships at just about every gym in town, and nothing compares to Scheels Aim High. It’s perfect for me and my kids, and I plan to keep my membership here for life. If you’re looking for a gym with amazing amenities, a family-friendly vibe, and a supportive atmosphere, this is the place to be. I’m in love with this gym!

We enjoy the pool and go fairly often. It's quite a bit smaller than you'd expect but not bad. The worst part is honestly the 15 year old life guards that take their jobs waaay too seriously. There is an arbitrary height requirement for the slide indicated by a crappy piece of tape someone slapped on the gate. Would be 5 stars if the employees would relax.

The pools are small and crowded. Slide is very fun but should be faster. The dressing rooms are terrible very small, but have other rooms with showers and benches. Pool water is warm and fun to swim in. Really love the big pool. Will return and great membership deals.

When we arrived at 11 am, we were immediately told to give them our personal information like where we lived and worked at, stating the building is membership operated and they needed our information if we were in town to not overcharge us. She said if we were from out of town or even lived in Black Eagle, we would have to pay extra as it is "county funded," and the other counties "didn't pay for it."
The pools are cold and crowded, the lifeguards on duty let a lot of things slide, and some were extremely strict. The atmosphere was horrible and unwelcoming. The staff and lifeguards were extremely rude. It seemed that we were being judged harshly for simply being there.
There was also a lack of listed pool rules, no listed times for reserved pool times, and overall, not enough seating or area to place your objects. Parents were crowded on a single bench to watch their kids.
When we came inside, we were told that the recreational pool was open for use to the general public but when me and my cousin (3 years old) tried to swim in the deeper area of the pool, we were told we were not allowed in that area due to swimming lessons.
We were told specifically from the main desk that swimming lessons would be in the rec pool from 3 pm to 6 pm yet there was lessons in the area which only allowed us into the kiddy pool and the wave pool which were extremely small and crowded.
While our experience was extremely bad, their area is very clean and well kept.
Unfortunately, the staff, pool size, environment, and lack of rules and instruction, even information, will ensure my family and friend will not be coming back.

We arrived and had to give a bunch of personal information that wasn't even relevant to going swimming. Completely unnecessary. There is absolutely ZERO signs that direct you anywhere. The pools are way to small and crowded. Rules aren't posted and the lifeguards are terrible. Really not worth all the hype. There are lots of wasted space. Only decent think was parking and cleaning.

We love it and so does our toddler ! The splash pad is free to the community which I really appreciate and the kiddie pool with the lazy river was a blast. Gonna check out the gym side next time we go in. My only piece of advice would be to possibly add wristbands or another identifying entry pass because we left and came back and when we showed the front desk out receipt, they basically had to enter our whole family info a 2nd time that day and asked to see the invoice multiple times. Us and our friends were also charged the non-resident rate and did not realize it until after we had paid. I’m sure that’s just a quick fix of reminding front desk staff to ask. Such a beautiful addition to great falls overall !
