If you’re looking for a supportive and encouraging environment to start your fitness journey, The Bar is where you should begin. The coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely want to see you succeed. The women in the Women’s Barbell class are friendly and welcoming, and it’s an amazing environment for both beginners and seasoned athletes alike.
The programming keeps you coming back day after day. The workouts target every muscle group and can be modified for any fitness level, and the coaches are right there with you every step of the way. I can’t thank Coach Paul, Coach John, and Coach Anthony enough. They’ve given me the confidence, strength, and accountability I was missing. I’m healthier, stronger, and happier because of this place.
If you’re on the fence, just go. You won’t regret it.

The best! I started following Coach Paulie when a friend of mine shared that she had been working with him one on one for a while. I was looking to reach some health and fitness goals and finally decided to reach out. I'm so glad I did! Coach Paulie has helped me reach my goals and achieve more than I thought possible in the 5 months we've been working together. He gave me a plan tailored to my goals, and has helped me work through it week by week. His expertise, encouragement, authenticity, and direction are so very appreciated. He keeps it real and doesn't subscribe to all of the trendy fitness influencer bs that's out there. I met Paul on a hunting trip. After that trip I started following him on Instagram. I was intrigued by his knowledge of both nutrition and fitness in his daily posts. Prior to this I had been working out for almost a year and had only been seeing marginal results. I reached out to Paul and began using him as my trainer. In the past 5 months my back pain Is gone and I am seeing awesome results. I highly recommend the services Paul provides!!!

I've worked with Coach Paulie several times in the past few years. Each time, he's helped me accomplish my goals including fat loss and muscle gain phases. His approach is better than any other coach I've worked with in the past. I have never had a gym membership before because gyms make me VERY anxious and self conscious. I always felt like an imposter or an interloper. The entire vibe of The Bar is different and warm and welcoming. Even though I have never done this before, the people and the space make me feel like I belong and there is NO JUDGMENT. I love the colors and the way the giant doors open to the outside and the fact that all the people feel real. This new health journey I am on feels much more possible because of this space. Also, Jamie is an amazing trainer/health coach! She makes me feel like a fitness goddess even though I am still a beginner!

Awesome little barbell gym that hosts occasional competitions. If you are looking to move some weights this is a good place to do it. Free weights and some unique machines supporting multi joint movement.

Working with Coach Paulie has been amazing! I have always had an active lifestyle and have always been in good shape, but since working with The Bar I have learned what a good balance of proper food intake and exercise can do for someone. I have lost 20+ lbs and gained good muscle mass. I am able to hike further and faster, carrying 35+ lb packs, than I did when I was in my twenties (I’m mid 40’s now). Working with The Bar and Coach Paulie has been a life changing experience!

The Bar is an inclusive, fun space which provides cardio equipment, room to stretch, multiple weight machines and top of the line free weight options. The space is clean, professional and comfortable, and often has the bonus of doggo friends to cheer you on. Coach Paulie llc and his wife Nikki provide multiple training options and online coaching to clients of all age ranges and skill levels. Paul’s expertise in the fitness, health and nutrition industry is top notch and his space at The Bar can’t be beat. My daughter had wrecked her ankle pretty bad during indoor and needed an outlet before spring competitive soccer started. Coach Paulie and his staff were instrumental in getting her strong for the upcoming season. They run a great program for off (and on) season strength and agility training.

The Bar is more than a gym. Paul has created a welcoming space where I get to train alongside some amazing women. Since working out at The Bar- I’ve made lifetime friends as well as grown so much in lifting- improving overall strength & increasing lifts. Paul does a phenomenal job with programming for the classes, introduces & teaches new exercises, provides assurance on your form/technique as well as substitute exercises when needed. I can’t say enough good things about it!! And chances are… you’ll get some pet therapy in between however many reps are programmed :)

Paul is phenomenal as a person and coach. The Bar provides membership options and ability to preschedule classes. The small group classes provide a personal and motivating environment. Regardless of your fitness level, current or past injuries, or modifications needed, everyone is welcomed and encouraged. Paul does a fantastic job of explaining movements, providing modifications, and understanding your needs as an individual. He understands that not every individual has the same goal and therefore require different coaching plans. He helps his clients learn behaviors that are sustainable and will help you achieve your goals. Working with him has been one of the best investments in my health thus far! I would highly encourage him to any of my friends, family, or someone looking to understand fitness and nutrition.
This gym has become a family to me and I'm so thankful for the impact it has in my life!
