If you get a membership you literally will not be able to cancel without paying unnecessary fees. I wasn’t allowed to cancel before my annual fee and then I waited til after and they still made me pay for another month EVEN THOUGH IM CANCELLING IT!! Ridiculous

The classes were nice but the location was extremely inconvenient. What I’m most upset about is the fact that it cost me $85 to CANCEL my membership! I could understand paying for the rest of the month but I had to pay the annual fee, the NEXT month of my membership, AND a cancellation fee. Yes the membership is about $20/month but it will cost you around $75 in December.

I started coming to Cunch just over a month ago and I am very satisfied with the equipment. A few things that I would recommend to make it a 5 star would be squat barbells, and another automatic water fountain. If they were to change these things It would absolutely be a 5 star for me.

Great gym. Nice employees. Always clean. If I had to recommend some equipment it’s lacking I’d say a plate loaded lat pulldown, plate loaded lat pullover, and a plate loaded standing calf raise. The new crunch in Omaha has all of those. It could also use some more of every leg machines. But other than that I love the place.

If I could give A0I would my daughter, and I joined crunch together and went in the end of August to canceled. We were told we had to come in in person, so we did. Since then they continue to charge my account. My bank has reversed it twice, And they just charged my account again. I have spoke to management. Nothing seems to work!

CRUNCH! I’ve been going here for almost a year and some change and I’m definitely not going anywhere else. The space it has is so nice compared to any other gym so I actually have some room to workout. The staff here is always so nice and has helped me out with my workouts if I have a random question, thanks Bailey! I do wish they had a few more leg machines but that’s alright because who likes legs anyway! Not to mention I can bring the kiddos in while I pump some iron and my girls love the kids crunch workers. I WON’T be switching gyms anytime soon!

I absolutely love this gym! The environment is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the equipment is well-maintained. It’s a great place to train whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. The only thing I’d love to see added is a plate-loaded leg extension machine!! Good gym but every time my husband or I have called are driven there to change or cancel the membership, there is always a reason why they can’t: Can’t over the phone because signature is required, then you get there and have to do it on the app, but the app doesn’t work. Difficult customer service but pleasant to talk to. Feels like a scam once you’re trying to get out of it.

.The gym itself is fine, but one of the staff here clearly doesn’t know how to treat people with respect. On September 16, 2025 at 6:42 pm, an employee named Bailey (glasses) actually dug a random receipt out of the trash and shoved it at me like it was mine.

That wasn’t professional, that was petty. It came across like he was trying to test me or make me feel small instead of doing his job. I handed it right back because it wasn’t mine — and honestly, the way he handled it said more about him than me.

Then on September 22, he came up and shook my hand, acting like he didn’t know my name. When I told him, he walked off with a cocky attitude — trying to act harder than me instead of just being respectful. It was obvious he was uncomfortable, like he knew he had crossed the line but wanted to cover it with arrogance.

Members pay to be here, not to deal with immature games from staff. If Bailey thinks mocking or testing people is customer service, maybe he’s in the wrong line of work.

The gym itself is fine, lots of younger guys who hog machines forever. The biggest disappointment at this gym is the childcare. We used to attend one of the OKC locations and the childcare ladies were fantastic (on the floor playing with the kids, called if diapers needed changed, limited screen time). At the Lincoln crunch you’re lucky if they even got off their phone long enough to acknowledge for child. We took my 1.5yr old 10-15 times total and he came home with diaper rash each time because they would not contact us that he needed to be changed. The final day our child was standing right next to the employee, there’s no way she didn’t smell him. They also try to corral all the kids into sitting in the movie theater to watch shows so they can sit on their phones even more. They wouldn’t turn the lights on all the way so it’s a dark cave like room and most of the toys are locked off in a separate gated area. 0/10 would not recommend

The only reason I signed up because of the kids crunch club and I found out there hours sucks even on the weekends they close the daycare at 6pm. I went to cancel my membership and they charged me 90 dollars. They tell you to sign up for kick off start is all about trying to hook up with personal trainer and the trainer are just sales people pushy. The music is too loud in there.

I have been a member since day one, and even though I have seen this gym go through ups and downs with cleanliness and customer service, it is amazing to see the growth as a new business that this gym has done.

***BIG WARNING***. I canceled back on April 24th in the office with the manager. But they have continued to try and charge me and want say I owe over $100. Said my balance was past due which as you can see on the form it wasn’t. I even saw in the reviews the owners e-mail and emailed them with no response. ***MAJOR SCAM***. The equipment is broke a lot hard to get on equipment. Water fountains are broke quite frequently. Roof has multiple leaks. Manager isn’t very friendly.

I had Jesse Ortiz as my personal trainer here. It was my first time working with one and I was his first client at this location. So we were both pretty excited to workout over the summer together. He pushed my limits and greatly increased my knowledge for different techniques and workout variations. I saw some great improvements over the past few months and would highly recommend anyone who thinks they want to change up their workouts or be pushed harder to try out a session or two. Overall I had a great experience and Jesse was great to workout with.

Terrible communication and customer service. I’d like to start by saying $9.99/month is a scam cuz they’ll charge you nearly $100/year in “club fees” out of nowhere. What really makes me mad though is their cancellation policies. If you ever want to cancel be prepared for a war. You cant do it on the app, cant do it over the phone, it HAS to be in person. And then even when you do go in person, they still wont let you do it. I have been in 3 times now and still haven’t been able to cancel. First 2 times apparently there were no managers present and for some reason only a manager can cancel membership. 3rd time their “systems were down” and they couldnt do it even though people were still checking in and the computers were on and actively running programs so im not sure what that means. I havent worked out there in over 2 months because i moved to a new house. Its a 25 minute drive there for me now. I am sick and tired of making nearly an hour round trip just to be told “come back another time.” I still havent actually canceled my membership and am still being charged for a gym i havent used in over 2 months. I will try again next time i have the free time to make the drive there, but at this point i have no clue if i’ll ever be able to cancel. Overall its a decent gym. Just be prepared to get scam trapped by “club policies” you’ve never even heard of.

It’s a great gym besides the turf starting to have some gum stuck on it and the amount of people recording. My biggest gripe about this place is that they have no bike racks around. It’s unfortunate because it’s a gym, you think biking would be encouraged. Other than that staff is always friendly and it’s pretty clean besides the turf.

UPDATE: I’ve seen them cleaning a lot more and the turf looks much better. Still no bike rack but they are definitely stepping up the cleanliness.

I signed up hoping to get my older teens comfortable. IT did not go well. No fault of the gym. BUT when it came time to cancel the free trial....it SUCKED. I tried to do it in person.. told I had to do it online. Went online could not figure it out....called back.....they explained I was looking in wrong area.....tried online again. Still not able to figure it out. Called back. Thought it was canceled. They took my name.... fast forward to.august.... I get emailed bill. I then reach out to Corp office via email to.complain and THEY FINALLY CANCELED IT. BUT THEY CHARGED ME FOR ANOTHER 30 DAYS NOTICE... I CALLED LOCAL LINCOLN NE GYM.... Crunch Fitness at 5050 N 27th St in Lincoln, NE is an excellent gym. Even during peak hours they have enough stations to accommodate. A ridiculous amount of cardio equipment as well. They have all the equipment you could need, everything was in working order, and a bonus - the employees care about and clean the locker room areas. The urinals are clean, locker room floor clean, lockers clean, and toilets clean. My crunch fitness back home in Las Cruces has terrible urinals that shoot back on you no matter how hard you try and aim. You have to press the water and shoot to the side wrapping it around in the hopes that it doesn’t come back on you. Hard off to American Standard, the urinal that the Lincoln Crunch had. My home home crunch fitness has yellow caked urinals (yellow film from urine stuck to the sides) also showing that they don’t regularly clean them. As I visited this gym there was an employee cleaning the locker room, and observing him and the speed at which he did his job, he had done it numerous times and has it down to a science. Good stuff Lincoln Crunch! Keep it up!

I’ve been coming to Crunch ever since they opened and they’ve made coming to the gym feel like home. When I walk in, I’m always greeted by name and with a warm smile! The General Manager Devin is a world class guy and cares genuinely about all members. He’s even let me try amenities free of charge! Another notable name is the head of personal training, Braxton. My daughter signed up with this place, she only came a few times. This gym is SO great, but the child watch needs a lot of improvement. I go in the morning shortly after school drop off for my big kids, and need child watch for my toddler. There is always only one worker present in the mornings and she is so sweet but clearly cannot handle all of the children by herself. My 2 year old cries and cries and I cannot even get a workout in. There are hardly any toys, or any activities for him. At the YMCA child watch in fallbrook they always have multiple workers present, so many toys for them to play with, coloring/activities for them to do, snacks are allowed and they even will change my sons diaper for me so my workout is uninterrupted. I would much prefer Crunch to be my main gym but I will have to cancel my membership soon because having reliable child watch for my toddler is the only way I can workout and Crunch just doesn’t cut it.

I signed up over a year ago, dealt with them stealing my money so I cancelled. I had to cancel 3 DIFFERNT TIMES, and they still tell me to this day "there is no proof of you cancelling". I have had almost $1000 taken from me from Crunch Fitness in Lincoln, NE and they have yet to take accountability for it. Not only will they not take accountability, but they tell me that IT'S MY FAULT. So when I called today to cancel for the 4th time now and get a refund for the charge, the General Manager, named Devin, tells me I haven't cancelled at all and that I was wrong, then proceeds to call my buddy and be very rude as if I am the problem. If you care about where your money is going, don't ever come here. They are lucky I haven't sued them over all of the money they have taken from me.

Trainers are very pushy and try to get you to join their overpriced programs. Poor management is unwilling to contact customers regarding issues. Finally, even after you cancel your membership, they continue to charge you, and when you point this out, gym management claims they can not find proof you canceled and refuses to refund your money.

If you're looking for a gym on the north side of Lincoln. This is the place to be! Equipment is always clean and always working. Worried about the crowded parking lot? Don't be. There's plenty of space inside for everyone. The trainers and staff are knowledgeable and always friendly.

Mainly got it for a vacation I had coming up where I knew I needed to get a slight tan going or I’ll burn in the Florida heat. Once I saw they got a message bed along with the tanning bed it was a done deal! Went in just to ask questions and look at the place and rest is history lol! I was so nervous at first as I haven’t been in a gym since high school and I’m not in any means of super fit. There is no judgement at all here!!! If anything if someone sees you need help they will jump in and help you (I mean more then just the employees) now I come here just to let go of some steam!!! Love the crunch fitness family!!! The classes are my favorite part!!! Wish there was more types and more later times for the classes tho. 💪🙌🏻🥰

I am a new member at this gym and all I can say is wow. They have everything you need for your health journey. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. Karly was my host when I went to join and she was knowledgeable about all the equipment and everything the gym and to offer. This is the largest most modern clean facility for gymming in Lincoln I bet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, a great atmosphere of no pretentious gym goers. Amy is awesome here! The plethora of drinks, classes, different workout equipment and styles is impressive.

I called and asked about trying out the gym they said to go online, sign up, and theb bring in the email. I signed up for a trial pass online, and when I went in to use it, they weren't very helpful. Usually, when I go to a new gym, the staff goes over all the amenities they offer and then walks me around to show where everything is. When I got there, they had me enter my info on a tablet and just said, "Have a good workout." Once I figured out where the kids care was, they had me write my name and kids' names and phone number but never asked who was who. It was a little chaotic. When I went back again I received a call from the kids care to come get my 3 year old son... They said he was hitting and kicking the teacher. My daughter explained he wanted to play with a toy in the infant area (where no infants were) and they told him no. As 3 years do he got upset about that. My daughter said they told him to stop once then counted to 3 and then said to call me... They really should train people who work with kids what a tantrum is and how to handle them... Never in the history of kids has a toddler stopped throwing a tantrum because they were told to. It's a simple as offering a different toy or option.

You website says child care.. That's pretty misleading. He wasn't disruptive... He is 3 and he was crying/upset because he wasn't allowed to play with toys that no one else was playing with. Thank goodness my 7 year old was there to see what really happened.

What a joke. At least with your response, other parents can see the lack of quality at your location and hopefully make better decisions then I did.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. The prices advertised are only for year long commitments, and month to month will run you a bit more. Even still, it’s excellent value for money. The equipment is working and clean, the staff are friendly, there’s good free weight and machine options. Much better choice than planet fitness in my eyes for a very similar price. Been here 2 months now 6 times a week, and have yet to have a single real issue. The staff are a genuine highlights. They seem like they’re happy to be here, usually smiling.

Edit after 6 months of consistent training here:
I do notice a lot of leaks in the ceiling with buckets around to catch water. Not going to dock a star because that’s probably on the landlord not crunch, but it does get pretty annoying. Hope to see things patched up soon.

Love this gym! Child care helps out so much being a single mom trying to stay fit! Tanning area is a bit chilly and always a crowd when coming in the evenings during childcare but that’s expected being a new gym with childcare. Love it all in all

Love this place!! The people at the front desk are always so welcoming. I love the wide variety of equipment and classes that are provided. My favorite is the HIIT classes that are offered early in the morning so I can get my workout in before I start my day.
