🔥🔥🔥ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING🔥🔥🔥 for this YMCA to allow the type of behavior that is displayed on the basketball courts is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Yelling of profanity, yelling of the N word in front of young kids is disturbing. This YMCAs basketball court felt more like a prison yard than a family oriented place to come. What a shame. This is a really nice YMCA. However there needs to be a professional who specializes in human behavior on the basketball courts at all times. You can’t allow this. YMCA - DO BETTER

Love this gym - everyone is very friendly and respectful. Well maintained equipment. Can frequently get my workout done efficiently and don’t have to wait too long for machines or equipment. If I could request one thing - I wish there were more thick single mats in the studios rather than the 4 mats attached, there is only 1 single thick mat. (Photo attached)

I love this gym. I have been a member since February of 2022 and I can honestly say the people there make it feel almost like family. Tonee and Tony are at the front desk and are welcoming when they greet you in and out of the doors. The morning instructors are great: Carla, Jodie, Jim, Misti. They have great workouts created making it new and fun every day. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Love the staff and the members.

Crowded, loud, people always hack and spit into the pool, hence why I've never used it. The cardio machines are good, so are the weights, but can be a wait at times.

6 weeks and no addressing of black and orange mold growing in the showers.
Immune compromised people trying to get healthy at a fitness and lifestyle club that supposedly cares about humanity and they can’t make it a priority to clean the mold off of surfaces that adults and children use daily?
Don’t look under the ADA approved shower bench. You’ll run screaming. This is a major health hazard.

Just got done with 12 weeks working out with some wonderful woman and with some amazing trainers-Abby & Suzi. They structured our workouts for our group and gave us such variety. Never the same workout. Can’t wait to work with them again in Jan. Y’all need to try Road to Wellness! So worth it!! 😀

This ymca is a great place to catch a 30 min workout or go for a swim in either the indoor or outdoor pool. They have full gyms, workout rooms and weight rooms. As of aug 14th they have new times that the outdoor pool is open, so be sure to check before you go.

Good facility overall, the variety of weights is good. However in the afternoon the entire top floor becomes unusable for an hour or so due to a herd of 30+ middle schoolers messing around on the weights, on the cardio equipment, generally standing around talking and blocking things.

In general, this is a decent place with friendly staff, ok facilities, and lots of options for getting a workout in. When I was interested in joining, the staff answered any and all questions I had including giving me an in-person tour. The neighborhood is very nice and feels very safe. I don't feel uncomfortable being here alone or after dark and there's plenty of parking.

For the negatives, this place is a little run down. I only became a member of this Y this fall and before that I belonged to Planet Fitness. I mainly made the switch because I wanted the option of a pool. Compared to there, this Y is definitely not as nice. It's not that everything is broken, it's just a little dingy and old. Also, the locker room situation. I'm glad that there's a girl's, boy's, women's, men's, and family locker room. However, I wish other Y members would do a better job actually using the correct locker room. There's kids in the adult locker room all the time. I understand having little kids that are too little to be alone in the kids locker rooms, but there are family locker rooms. One time there was a mom with multiple children, all who looked plenty old enough to change on their own in the kids locker rooms, and one child looked to be a 10-year old boy. In the women's locker room! Another time, I was in the shower after swimming, and a child thought it would be funny to repeatedly hit the shower curtains in as people were showering. Just very uncomfortable situations!

It would also be nice if the area with the workout machines and weights was a bit larger with more machines. But that would be a major change to accomplish something like that.

I did have a Wellness Appointment with Zach and he was awesome! Very helpful and obvious he was educated. I've had these free "wellness/fitness assessment appointments" before at gyms, and it's obvious if they have formal education or not, and Zach certainly did. Answered my many questions and was super helpful. If you are a new member, I recommend the free Wellness Appointment!

Facility is nice. Feeling that management just don't care about the members. Broken equipment doesn't get repaired, one piece has been needing repaired for 3 years. Jacuzzi is closed a lot, staff member told me they don't know how to add the chemicals. Management is running it into the ground.

- went to all ymca's in Lincoln and only the fallbrook wouldn't allow me a tour even though I stated i would wear a mask. This is during the time they changed the mask policy.
When called to ask why? They made alot of excuses, the background all you could hear was kids crying, that too me sounds really suspicious that kids are not happy not wanting ever to go back or even ask. I still did my last try and when I called by suggestion of the corporate to reach out the director of the facility he was defensive that they had showed me the camp which it was not true at all they had me waiting at door 18 for 20 min and she at the end had denied it. They later send me a virtual link to see the tour which basically was photos of the outside of the building. I stated multiple times all I wanted was a quick tour that I just wanted to see what environment my kids were if they were safe or not. Because it practically is summer daycare but have no safety cameras, no surveillance. But they do state on the registration form that if something ever happens you will not press any charges or sue. If you obviously dont agree on the ONLY option box there is which is Yes then you cant register them. But after calling the directo to bring all this to his attention he did not know what procedure to take stated would call back never did. This location to me is so unprofessional.
-Have had multiple small incidents like about the pool policy, the guest policy, but not like this one.
