I came to Lincoln for a short project during the winter, juggling an intense workload and a 6-7 day workweek. I knew I needed an outlet for stress and pent-up energy, and I’m lucky I found Henry’s Boxing. Even though I hadn’t boxed in over a decade, Dylan got me back on track in no time with a plan that worked around my hectic schedule, offering late-night sessions 4X a week.

The price was reasonable, but the quality of the sessions? Exceptional. Dylan’s coaching is second to none—he’s not just a skilled fighter but an incredible teacher who breaks down every detail step by step until it all clicks. Believe me, I came with a lot of bad habits that were quickly corrected. Whether you’re a beginner or someone returning after years away, Dylan meets you where you are and helps you progress. Fast.

My goals were simple: blow off steam, get an intense workout, and learn something useful. I achieved all three… and then some. Every session left me feeling accomplished, with a killer workout, noticeable improvement, and a clearer mind. It’s been amazing for both my mental and physical health.

The gym atmosphere is exactly what I needed: clean, high-energy, focused, and supportive, with the freedom to play whatever music gets you pumped. As someone who avoids mainstream gyms and repetitive workouts, this place kept me engaged and challenged every step of the way.

What Dylan is doing with his nonprofit is pretty incredible—helping kids build discipline, commitment, and a positive path in life. The second you meet him, you’ll understand this is what he truly cares about and loves doing. Seeing how much impact this gym has on the community is inspiring. This isn’t just a boxing gym; it’s a place for growth, transformation, and connection. If you’re even thinking about trying boxing or getting back into it, stop hesitating and GO FOR IT. You will not regret!

Walking into a boxing gym as a novice, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience was honestly incredible. Dylan Henry (Coach Henry) is truly top-notch—patient, encouraging, and really knew how to push me to bring out the best in me. He's an elite-level coach who's willing to meet you where you're at. And his experience via 11 Golden Gloves is unreal. If you're looking to get in shape this is a great place for a workout. If you're looking to learn boxing this is a great place to learn for all levels.

Don't let the idea that this is a boxing gym deter you for something like 9 Round Fitness. If that's the route you're going think of this as 9 Round on steroids: you get an intense and fun workout, but with the added benefit of a real boxing environment and an expert coach guiding you every step of the way.

The gym atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating, perfect for beginners to those who have boxed their entire lives. If you're thinking about starting boxing, this is the place to do it. Highly recommended! Absolutely no need to feel embarrassed or fearful; this gym builds you up from where you are.

I started boxing at a young age in Kearney Nebraska. My family started a gym called Quintana boxing and our name has spread through the Midwest like a wildfire. I moved to Lincoln in 2012 and my grandpa had a gym here called Lincoln boxing club, it has recently closed down. I’ve had many memories there and it felt like home, I’ve tried out other boxing gyms and it hasn’t felt the same. Until I came to Henry’s boxing gym, then I got that feeling and fire back, great team work and individual work, they always make time to help you get better Day by day. Every person in the gym is very kind and respectful, Once you step into the gym you become part of a family and that’s what I love about Henry’s boxing gym.

I searched a lot of gyms before landing on Henry’s boxing for my 15 year old son. Coach Henry’s holistic coaching approach takes the whole child into account. This isn’t just teaching your child boxing, he’s actively coaching life lessons of staying humble, mindful, and leading by example and experience. I very much appreciate Coach Henry and the opportunity my son gets out of boxing. We live over 40 mins away making the trip to Lincoln 2 nights a week for boxing is worth the trip! If you’re looking for true guidance for you child, this is the place.

Took our girls in for a test run to see if they would like it. Gotta say, Dylan is great with his students and obviously knows the sport. You don't get 8 championships without knowledge. Our girls are pretty young but, they hung in their to the best of their ability and were good and tired afterwards! Dylan, thank you so much for your patience with the girls, Hailey is ready for more, Dana's still unsure, she was wrecked afterwards, fell asleep on the way home! Lol

If you win the Golden Gloves 1-2 times, I’d say you know the sport of boxing. 3-5 times, your pretty special... Dylan has won 8 times if I’m not mistaken. As a coach myself, I know 1 thing about Dylan, he knows how to win. He learned from the best around, a great man that’s no longer with us, John Kuebler. John helped mold this man into who he is today, and Dylan is an elite coach, and an overall elite person. Henry’s boxing is an outstanding place for anyone looking to learn the sport, the right way.

I highly recommend Dylan Henry’s Boxing Program. Dylan Henry is an excellent coach and superb motivator!

I have been a ringside physician for over twenty years. I can only think of a few athletes that have dominated their weight class in the sport of amateur boxing in Nebraska. Among these are Terence Crawford, Dylan Henry, and Kevin Ventura. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel with the Nebraska Golden Gloves team to several National Golden Golves Tournaments. On multiple years, Dylan represented our region at the National Tournament. I’ve seen him box and performed admirably against people that went on to be Olympic qualifiers and heralded professional boxers. Locally, I’ve seen many amateur boxer’s career come to an end after boxing Dylan Henry. His style of boxing can be so dominating that people just don’t want to face him again . He has many tricks and traps that he’s learned over his long amateur career, and he had one of the greatest coaches in Nebraska history, John Kuebler.

I’ve also seen Dylan win matches against highly talented boxers that I thought might beat Dylan but Dylan won by sheer determination and intimidation. In other words, he just walked them down and beat them into submission.

Dylan knows how to box, and he knows how to win a fight. If you want to get in shape, learn boxing skills, and learn how to win in a fight; training under Dylan is the place to be.
