Challenging workout but at your own pace. Coach/instructor led, takes the thinking out of the workout. I've been going a little over 3 months and am noticing results. This has become a habit I look forward to.

I have been an Orange Theory Fitness member for about three months and just hit my 50th class milestone, so I feel like I have a good grasp on the workouts, the atmosphere, and the culture. First, I like the workouts. I find them challenging and have noticed a change to my physical appearance and overall strength and wellness. I'm a subscriber to "the best workout is the one you do" philosophy and at age 40 with 6 kids from age 8 to early adult, I need the structure and instruction OTF provides. No complaints there.
The reason I'm knocking off a star is because I have come to resent the benchmarks and the competition style specialty workouts. Most days, you go to OTF, do your work, and maybe make a few lighthearted or encouraging remarks to your neighbor or trainer. It really does have that "custom workout, meet you where you're at" vibe. It's great because one of my big concerns in a studio fitness model was that everyone would be judging me...but most days no one cares at all. They are totally focused on their own thing and you are so focused on your own workout that you wouldn't even have time to notice anyone noticing you anyway. Now, that vibe kinda falls away when they start talking about benchmarks and comp
workout days. They definitely pay attention to people's performance. It is often announced to the whole class and there is praise for "the best." I get that this is great for some people, but I am neurodivergent and consider myself a "highly sensitive person." For me, the loud cheering encouragements in the middle of workouts is anxiety inducing and the shift from the more encouraging, self paced culture to the "now we will compare you to everyone" is jarring and disheartening. I get it that most people can move on and either feel neutral or energized by the competitive aspect. It breaks up the workouts, keeps things fresh...I just wish there was a way to keep the atmosphere and culture encouraging to all abilities and circumstances.
After 3 months and 50 classes, I will be continuing with OTF, but I'm switching my focus to the strength classes they offer, which will help me avoid benchmarks and specialty workouts. Doing those 4 days/week. On the 2 days/week I am participating in the circuit classes for some cardio work, I will just skip the workouts and only do the benchmarks that appeal to me.
*This review is not negative. It is meant to help others who are sensitive about being "perceived" or judged who are interested in OTF. It is a promise of no judgement and mostly it is. Just consider your own self before you buy into the competitions and the benchmarks. The workout is about you and you can still maximize your otf membership without the extra pressures.

The nice thing is that in the Omaha area, you can try 3 different otf locations (West, NW, and midtown) to find the culture that works best for you. Try different spots and different class times. The trainer and the other attendees can make a difference!

The included pic is a screen shot of the booking portion of the app. I'm including it to emphasize that despite the "gym" culture, I am dedicated. I enjoy the workout and my "alone time" at the gym enough to be sure I get there every day. And the great thing is that the workouts are customizable enough where I can go at the intensity that is right for me on any given day (unless it's a benchmark or competition specialty work out...and for my feelings on that...see above). I also LOVE that the strength workouts are on a schedule. You can see the orange dumbbell circles on the calendar...those are days when I'm only doing strength (the splats are strength/cardio circuits). Each of those strength days targets a different muscle group, so really there is built in recovery time.

This is a long review because OTF has impacted my life significantly and mostly positively. I would love to see more people who "can't get motivated to work out" (read: like me) give it a try!!

I love the intensity of OTF workouts. The motivation of group fitness and challenge trackers push me towards new PRs. The 5 am class enables me to get my workouts done before work at 7. The music play lists are fire. I have zero bad things to say and highly recommend for all levels of physical ability. We have such a range of ages in the classes… 20s-60s.

No doubt about it, it's a GREAT workout! I joined for a trial period to try and learn new things as I needed a boost from my normal routine. Once I decided to discontinue my membership, all of the classes I was planning on attending for the rest of the month were removed from my profile and I was told there was no reason to finish out the month if I didn't plan on signing up for the following month. I paid for a full month of workouts and the last two weeks of the month were taken away from me. Needless to say I was shocked. Cannot believe this is how I was treated and how they run this business.

I have been going to OTF for 5 months & it’s one of the best decisions I have made ! I have lost weight & inches and gained strength and new friends. Can’t say enough about the staff and coaches . It’s a workout that’s pretty much guaranteed to make you sweat. 😁

I’ve taken many different fitness classes at various facilities and nothing compares to OTF. Orangetheory is the best workout you’ll find, and it’s all at your own pace in a judgement free zone. One of the best parts of OTF is the different workouts throughout the week. You’ll find that the coaches and front desk team will quickly learn your name and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Great workout, great people, great location!

Will never be going to an OTF gym again. It is full of entitled soccer moms and completely fake interactions. If you want to go back to high school, find your local OTF. The workouts are designed for you to lose weight quick but they are not sustainable. The prices for the gym are not sustainable either. You can find each OTF workout on Reddit and do it at a local gym for $20 which I highly recommend.

The front desk staff was very helpful and informative when I was calling to book my first class, then the instructor for my first class called me the day before to talk to me, when I arrived the front desk knew exactly who I was, the instructor walked me though everything and followed up a few days later to see how I was. The actual class itself was fun, even if it was exhausting and pushing me to my limits. I’ve been working out at home, but it’s nice to have someone there to push you a little harder and encourage and motivate you.

To say I love the OTF NW Omaha staff and studio would be an understatement. Everyone at this facility is phenomenal! The workouts have revived a spark in me I haven't had for fitness since playing sports in high school. They're challenging, they provide a competitive edge, and they allow you to do more than you realized you could do. When I first started, I thought there was no way I could be able to sustain an hour long class. Why I put that limit on myself, I will never know, but here I am 8 months later, loving classes and performing like I never thought I could! I would recommend this studio and staff to everyone!

I love OTF! I love the fact every day is a new workout, which means a new challenge! My biggest competition is myself, and with every workout I attend I try to be a better me.
I also love the people I have met and the relationships that have evolved. It doesn’t matter if you are on a weight loss journey or working out to just workout, everyone treats everyone with respect.
Lastly, the staff really is what makes me come back. They provide encouragement, give feedback, have AMAZING playlists (which music is my #1 pusher when it comes to working out), and they all make you feel apart of a family

I love Orangetheory workouts! I originally joined when the NW location opened, but stopped after a few months due to life changes. I recently came back because I missed the group atmosphere and the trainers! If you want to combine treadmill/rowing interval training with strength and endurance floor/weight exercises, with workouts that change daily, you owe it to yourself to give OTF a try! The sessions are amazing -- and you will see results, regardless of your athletic ability or body type. But what makes the NW location special are the trainers who encourage, challenge and teach each and every member, the friendly lobby staff who will know you by name and, of course, the camaraderie among the fellow fitness-minded people you meet and get to share milestones with. Sometimes, the trainers get a little too amped and crank the music a bit louder than I would prefer (especially at 5 a.m.), but music is always uplifting and helps make the hour of intensity fly. Check it out sometime. I'm confident you will feel like you walked into a welcoming community!

Absolutely love the workouts here. Coaches are awesome, staff is friendly and location tidy and clean. Totally worth it. I'll be honest, if you have even an iota of doubt about whether the cost is worth it, try taking one class and then replicating it in your gym, you'll notice that not only does the orange theory environment makes a psychological difference for you to push harder but having a coach to refer to in case you need an exercise variant or to tell you the correct technique is a huge deal. I've seen a drastic improvement in my health and i highly recommend it.

I have to start by saying I never write actual reviews. But OTF has changed my entire life. I joined just 10 months ago... In those 10 months, I have lost almost 60lbs and am down 10 pant sizes. The real victories, however, are the increased confidence and self-esteem I have, the amount of energy I feel, and the quality of sleep I get at night now. OTF is not just a workout, but a way of life and a FAMILY to me. And it’s crazy to me that I look forward to EVERY. WORKOUT! I wake up excited to go to OTF to workout and see my friends! We came to this location to try out one of the classes as we were interested in joining and heard great things! We unfortunately got stuck in traffic (Love Omaha rush hour..) and arrived 10 minutes before the class was to start. There were two openings for us as we had reserved, but since we had arrived too late, they would not let us fill out the paperwork or join the class. I understand that rules are rules, and we did not want to hold up the class for the other members if that would be the case, but the lady at the front was so rude about it that we will not be coming back. The trainer for the class was also confused as to why she would not let us in. Not impressed.
