It is ok. If you just need a place with some machines and dumbbells for light lifting, you'll be fine at this location. If you want to do compound lifts, avoid and go to a different gym because there isn't much space and certain spots get reserved for team training at different times.The staff is polite but this location appears to cater to non-lifters more than lifters. Pros:

Ample parking.
Not crowded (5pm weekday).
Clean facility.
Other members respectful of space and cleaned equipment after use.
Surprisingly large array of free weights, machines, and even a purple turf area for functional training in what deceptively appears to be a small gym from the outside.
Friendly staff - Clay and Anna were fantastic.
I don't partake, but it looked like everyone was enjoying the group session they offer if that is something of interest.

Cons:

There is a handicap space with no marking on the parking spot - just a sign on the wall, beware unless you want to look foolish and move spaces like me.
One of the five treadmills randomly stops working (of course the first one I went to), but I'm sure that has been or will be fixed.

Summary:

Everything I need from a local gym and more. I can't imagine there are many people who couldn't do whatever it is they need to do in this facility.

Such a terrible experience. I just moved to the area and went to my new local anytime fitness to be immediately approached by the Manager who proceeded to lecture me about gym etiquette and rules. After several minutes of being lectured, for no reason because I was not breaking any rules, the people around me told me ‘don’t worry about. He does that to everyone. He’s new.’ When I was told the owner was there I proceeded to let the owner know. He told me it was his policy and he was the one to direct the manager to do this with members.

Clay is absolutely unprofessional. I had brought in a guest and did not know we were not able to bring someone in. He had txted me an extremely passive aggressive text message letting me know the time I came in (7:22PM) & that I'll be charged $15 and if it continues they'll cancel my membership. Although, I completely understand the rules, the way Clay texted me could've been much more professional and not passive aggressive. Here's a suggested text message to send to your members to keep that member retention!

"Hey you warrior! We understand that fitness is for ALL but just a gentle reminder that guests are not allowed during non-staffed hours as they will need to pay a $15 day pass fee. The more the merrier of course, but if this continues we will need to cancel your membership which we don't want to do. Thank you for your understanding" You're welcome.

The owner is SO COOL! Always welcoming whenever I walk into the gym. I wish I had his contact info so I could let him know what kind of staff he is hiring. Anyway. To the owner, you are awesome dude but get please have some set templates to send to members for cases like this.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and the facility is very clean. From the moment I stepped in the door, I felt like I belonged and was part of the family. Anna Zagar's Saturday morning training session was phenomenal; she is an awesome coach who instructs, corrects, and most of all encourages those in her session. I’ve been coming to this gym for well over 7 years now and it’s like you join a family. Jack the owner and his staff are always so attentive, caring and are there for anything you need or any questions you may have. Equipment is always kept up and the gym itself is extremely clean. I left briefly to join Lifetime Fitness but due to that gym being extremely dirty with careless, rude staff I cancelled and came back to Jack’s gym, shame on me for ever leaving ! You can tell this is his baby & he takes extreme pride in it. I’ve been a member at the Henderson Anytime Fitness for a while now, and overall, I do like the gym. It’s quiet, relatively private, and clean—definitely a peaceful place to work out without the usual crowd. The equipment is well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of effort goes into keeping the gym in good shape. Unlike other gyms in the area, the machines here aren’t worn out, and I really appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to maintenance.

That being said, my recent experience with a billing issue left a lot to be desired. I had a situation where I was being charged even though the gym had been closed for a period of time, and I was hoping to get a refund for those charges. I spoke with the manager and a trainer, and while they were both kind and professional, they weren’t able to help with the issue. They explained that, because Anytime Fitness is a large corporation, they couldn’t handle billing requests like mine at the local level.

Following their advice, I contacted corporate directly. However, when I called, I was greeted by a recorded message saying, "billing issues should be addressed at your home gym." This was confusing since the local staff had already told me they couldn’t assist. After a bit of back and forth, corporate resolved my issue in less than five minutes, which made me wonder why it was so difficult to get this handled at the local level. It felt like I was getting the runaround, and it was frustrating that the very people I signed my contract with couldn’t help me with such a simple request.

While I appreciate that corporate ultimately resolved the matter, the whole experience left me uneasy. There seems to be a disconnect between the local gym and corporate on how to handle these types of issues, which made something relatively simple turn into an unnecessarily complicated situation.

Overall, I still enjoy working out at this gym—it’s a great facility. But I do hope the staff here can get better clarity on what they can and can’t resolve, particularly when it comes to billing issues. A little more transparency and better communication could really improve the member experience.

Cleanest gym I've ever visited. I love the atmosphere, the equipment is very nice - and it's not crowded like the sports clubs are! It's genuinely people there to work out and go home. You don't have to wait for people to stop standing around and hogging equipment because they are finishing their conversation... it's a very awesome gym. Great rates as well! The owner takes insane amounts of pride in this gym and it shows. Signed a 2 year contract without hesitation. :)

My opinion is still the same. I've been a member of gyms my entire adult life and Jack will remain my most favorite owner to date. I had to cancel my membership due to my pup needing 24/7 care as a seizure sufferer.. and not only did Jack not make me feel bad for needing to cancel (I ended up building a gym at my house for my situation) he told me they make exceptions for certain situations! So no matter what you're going through in life, if the gym is your passion - hit Jack up! If it's something they can help you overcome, I'm certain they will help out! I cannot rave on this gym enough. He even went out of his way when there was a small mixup with my cancelation that he 100% didn't have to do. You can tell he loves his gym, he's there for the people, his passion. When my life allows, I will not hesitate to return. The highest of praise. ❤️

Workout at anytime fitness probably 5-6 days a week for the last 3 years. I travel for work and always take my shoes off with clean socks when working on a platform or doing and leg/calf work. Today for the first time in 3 years I was told to keep my shoes on or I can’t workout at the gym I been to previously and haven’t had this issue with. Didn’t know this was planet fitness and there was a gym to gym policy with a lunk alarm. Had 2 trainers approach me about not only my membership but also to move for group training, the vibe when someone is actually here to supervise is completely off. hands down the worst anytime experience I’ve had

I've been a member for close to two months now and the facility has always been clean and organized and the management is super friendly and helpful! Plenty of equipment available and never too many people at one time. I also travel a lot and take advantage of the world-wide club access to visit other facilities across the country and this has kept me accountable without having to worry about what might or might not be in the hotel gym! I enjoy their group sessions. They are tailored for a great workout and you can work out on the exercises using weights that work for you. They are smaller groups and the trainer(s) can work with you and help be sure you are doing the workouts/exercises correctly and with what weights or equipment would be best for you to use.

I love this place!! At first I was nervous about being alone at times but they've made me feel so comfortable. It's always clean, I love how private it is. I have always been so insecure and hated going to gyms because I always felt like they had so many people and never enough machines. I come here in the very early mornings and it's the same people every day which is so wonderful.

I just moved back to Vegas recently, and when I was having trouble with my membership/key fob from my previous AF, the owner here Jack went completely out of his way to help get me sorted out not once but *twice*. He picks up the phone when you call, knows all of his members by name, and just clearly really cares about his gym and the community there.

I have been an avid gym-goer for 14 or 15 years and an AF member for about a year now, and I can say with complete honesty that this is one of the best gyms I've ever been to (and I've been to a *lot*). Perfect size, not Costco-massive like 24HF/LVAC/Gold's, but still bigger than all the other AF locations I've been to so far, and also big enough that a good number of people can be in there and actually get stuff done without tripping all over each other.

Great selection of equipment, super clean and in great shape (including my favorite prone hamstring curl and seated handleless rear delt machines)! Multiple power racks! People actually keep the free weights and plates organized!

Man, it's honestly been a long time since I've been this excited about going to the gym. 4.8 stars after 214 other reviews? So happy to have this place as my new home club. Would give it six stars if I could.

These guys are great. It’s not the biggest gym in the world but it has everything you need! Tracee and Nick are great staff and will always greet you with a smile. Tracee communicates everything you need to know and was instrumental last year at keeping us members informed about all the pandemic stuff relating to the gym. Nick is the guy who can help you dial in a plan and goals when you join up and he knows his stuff. And the gym is 24 hrs for members so it ticks all my boxes. If you want to get away from the bigger gyms and crowds this is the place.

It’s always clean. All the equipment you would ever need. I like to go in the evening and it is never super busy. The staff are very personable and professional. Amazing gym. If you are thinking about joining, quit thinking. Just join already.

This place has been a life changer for me. As a naturally shy and introverted person, the thought of going to a gym was always terrifying. My experience at this gym had been nothing but positive. The facility is clean and never crowded. The staff knows everyone by name and have a solid understanding of everyone’s individualized needs and goals. There truly is a family vibe here. I enjoy being able to get on the equipment and not having to wait. Everyone is friendly here, which is not common in Las Vegas/Henderson at all. The Management is supportive and they know the members individually. I would recommend this gym to everyone I know in the area, except I don't really know anyone.

I love anytime fitness as a truck driver im so happy I can visit any facility in the United States also I’ve never been to a dirty anytime fitness weights always organized, equipment kept up to par, and if you go at the right time you’ll pretty much have to whole gym to yourself(late nights -early mornings) !!

Signed up with Anytime because they have locations in every state within my territory for work. The experience at this location is second to none. They have built a sense of community that is extremely welcoming. Feels like home. Best part is all the encouragement from the members. Member for over 10 years, but when time came to cancel, rather than accepting my cancellation via the phone they require me to go to their office. This requires me to take off work to accommodate their office hours. I think it's reasonable to expect them to be able to handle a simple cancellation after a decade plus of membership. I can only conclude they want to intimidate me into keeping a membership I don't use. It's sad that after a positive relationship for over 10 years that the club decided to make it a hostile situation to do a simple cancellation. Just imagine if I was in the hospital or an accident, they would require me to travel to their office to sign a document to cancel. Simply outrageous!

Owner works hard at having the latest and best equipment for his clients. I have not taken any of their classes, but have heard great things about then.

Great little gym. I came here with my wife while on vacation visiting family in the area. The staff were friendly and we paid $10 each for a day pass. Members can get 24/7 access.

The gym is relatively small but has almost everything you’d need for your workout.

For free weights they have two power racks, two barbells (one is an Ohio bar), iron and bumper plates, and a full rack of dumbbells. There is only one free floating bench, and I don’t remember seeing an incline bench, though they do have a seated bench and a decline bench.

The leg press seemed to be out of order when I visited. Unfortunately there is no dedicated bench press either (you have to use a power rack with the attachable safeties).

There are a dozen or so machines, and about as many treadmills. There is also a small functional area with various accessories like foam rollers and resistance bands.

Overall it was a nice, clean gym with relatively new equipment. The only thing I could say is that I wish it was slightly larger and had another squat rack, or at least a dedicated bench press.

I first went to this Anytime Fitness location when I was in Vegas over a summer. I was impressed by the staff's immediate understanding of my needs despite the limited time I would be going to that location since I was moving back to NY that fall. But in my short time spent there I was pleased with the gym's positive atmosphere, variety of equipment, and the friendliness of the coaches. It really felt like a community of people who wanted to ensure that my goals were met. Because of this great experience I signed on with Anytime when I moved to LA and I am still just as happy as I was when I first discovered Anytime on Horizon two summers ago. If you’re looking for a great gym without all the hassle of ginormous gyms (too many sweaty people with no manners, bad customer service, and no clean up crew in site), this is the place for you. You’ll see the owner frequently and the staff (which has not changed since I started coming here a year ago) is extremely friendly and always available. There’s lot of equipment and space to do your thing. The workout classes are frequent but never interfere with the other patrons. There’s a perfect ecosystem of patrons, staff and equipment. You can tell that there was a lot of though that went into every detail and organization of the gym. Once you start, you won’t want to leave :)
