My daughter has been going to ASMT for years. She normally just does private lessons but has also participated in camps. The instructors themselves are excellent, and they’re knowledgeable, supportive, and we’ve never had any issues with the actual lessons or camps.

The biggest problem, however, is scheduling private lessons. Once you finally get a time locked in, the lessons go great. But getting to that point is a headache. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone, so scheduling usually happens through email. Responses are slow, and when they do come, they often feel rude, like we’re an inconvenience just for trying to book a class.

We even tried going in person, hoping it would be better than email, but it was worse. My wife went down recently, and the staff member she dealt with (Karen) was extremely rude and unhelpful. After signing us up, she just shut the glass door without another word. That experience left a really bad impression.

On top of that, there’s a strict cancellation policy. You can’t cancel within 24 hours. That would be fine in theory, but in practice it’s a huge problem because you can almost never get ahold of anyone to cancel or reschedule. I’ve spoken with other moms, and they’ve had the exact same frustrations. It all seems to come down to the person handling scheduling, and unfortunately, that’s what makes the whole experience so unpleasant.

To their credit, the instructors really do go above and beyond. One of my daughter’s private coaches even gave us their personal number so we could reach out if we ever needed to cancel, and they would notify the front desk for us. That was incredibly thoughtful and shows the kind of people the actual instructors are.

Because of these ongoing scheduling and customer service issues, we’re seriously considering stopping private lessons altogether. It’s a shame, because the actual instructors are fantastic. But the office experience overshadows everything else, and that’s ultimately why we can’t recommend ASMT private lessons.

My daughter attended this summers cheer camp and had a blast. She enjoyed it so much she wants to add in a cheer class here as well as her dance classes at a different studio.

While the exterior of the location is nothing exciting and potentially difficult to find, the staff at the gym does an excellent job, and the best squads in Las Vegas practice here. Instruction is not just limited to cheer, but includes extensive tumbling with ample space for mats and routines.

Love this gym. My girls have been training here for over 3 years. Their growth here has been amazing! They easily made their school competitive teams thanks to the coaching they received at ASMT. Highly recommend!

My daughter is not a cheerleader but she did two summer camp sessions at ASMT last summer. She went in very skeptical but ending up having an amazing time. She loved the staff, the team and even the dance and cheer routine. I’m so glad she joined. Coach Lindsay was her absolute favorite. Even though she doesn’t cheer, she is looking forward to doing camps again this summer.

My grandaughter has been going to ASMT since she was 5. She is now on the level3. She started at the gym with no skills and is now throwing a layout. The coaching staff are amazing. I highly recommend ASMT CHEER.

Bad rude coach’s! My daughter was the only one who did not get a Metal and she was lead flyer. The gym had leaks and was in a bad places. To hard to get to my daughter would be 1 minute late with her friends and she was only only one that had to run. And you have to pay for bad uniforms and bows that don’t match the uniform. 1/100 don’t go her if you want your kid to have fun!

Easily the best Cheer Academy in Vegas! They have dedicated staff and are hard working. I would highly recommend it if your kids have any interest in cheer or trying to make a school team, this is the best place to go! They have a great staff and will set your kids up for success.

With the help of ASMT my daughter went from not knowing how to tumble to becoming a competitive gymnast. The time we spent with their Vegas Stars program and the countless private lessons and classes we participated in, is something we will forever be thankful for. The skills, the friendships, and the memories are definitely something we will both carry on for a lifetime.

Having personally worked in all forms of entertainment for the last 20 years I have to say this place has been the worst experience I have ever had. My fiancee and I paid for private lessons, choreography and music for her daughter to compete in a best cheer leader event at a recent event. She was competing both solo and with her team. A week before the competition the coach for the school discovers that my future stepdaughters routine will automatically disqualify her from the competition. Not only that the entire teams routine will disqualify them, as no-one at ASMT bothered to read the rules and guidelines for the event. So this troupe of middle schoolers busted their butts with a week to change everything. My fiancee and I however had to spend more money for private lessons to correct their mistake and my stepdaughter worked so hard she wound up injuring herself. Never were we offered any sort of refund for them not doing their due diligence for this event. Fast forward two weeks to today and she uses the routine they designed at one of their events and comes in fourth. Her biggest mark downs where in her form, which is what we paying for them to work on with her, and that there was not enough actual dancing in the routine. Now correct me if I am wrong in this assumption but if you are the sponsor for the event and you know what the judges are going to be looking for shouldn't you make sure that what you design at least meets the basic requirements of that event. Especially for the amount of money that are charging.

I spent a lot of money to get my daughter into a best cheerleading competition. Privates music choreography... hours of practice. They did not even read the rules of competition. The week of event none of the work she did was right... She had to change everything last minute so more privates the week before. She worked so hard that she hurt her knee... Then she competed two weeks later in their event and was marked down for not enough dance in the routine.. :/ That they did the choreography for...I am not happy would not ever recommend this place.
