I came to Blue Sky 11 years ago a young hostel worker. I had been in the city a couple of years and lived just a few blocks away. I was looking to expand my interests and find a higher purpose in my life. I fell in love with yoga in this studio. I’ve done it all now. Aerial silks, hot yoga, goat yoga, beach yoga. Countless studios. But this place will always be the ONE ✨ I live 1000s of miles away now, but hope to return for a class one day.

I found this yoga studio about 11 years ago and it changed my life! I was a young college student when I first started at Blue Sky and didn't have money to pay for a $150+ studio membership. Blue Sky and Cheryl not only provide quality yoga classes, but they do so in a way that truly gives back to the LV community. Since starting at Blue Sky, I've taken hundreds of classes and even gotten my YTT certificate. I will be forever be grateful for Cheryl and what she has created at Blue Sky.

Looking for the ultimate small business yoga experience to support in Las Vegas?! I have been seeing Cheryl at Blue Sky yoga in the Arts Factory since 2004!! I’ve been an Aesthetician for 24 years. My body would’ve never made it this long in my career if I didn’t find Cheryl Spader.. and her incredible yoga practice! I am stronger, more flexible and am inspired to keep going because of the foundation she has gifted me. Taking yoga at an Art Studio is so refreshing and unique, it takes the pressure off that we can put on
ourselves. Cheryl is a goddess who truly cares… she lives and breathes yoga! She makes everyone feel like they belong. Everyone living in or visiting Las Vegas should try her!

We started at Blue Sky Yoga 3 years ago.
It has been a studio for Tuesday Dance Classes With i.l.y. royal, Assisted Yoga with Cheryl. We look at the art all the time and on the 1st Friday she has LOCAL Artists that can display and sell their art.
Artists can even display their art in the studio for the month.
I miss Vegas and going to Blue Sky to rehearse at an affordable price.

Blue Sky Yoga is not only in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District, but also THE heart of the Las Vegas Yoga community. One of the longest established studios in the City and the only one making yoga accessible to all by maintaining a donation-based studio from the beginning. The floor hosts yoga and the walls support artists, giving creatives the opportunity to display their work. Owner Cheryl has inspired countless Yogis from beginner to expert and from around the world to embrace Yogic practices and principles. She has also given budding to experienced artists exposure within the Arts Factory. It is a special place and Cheryl is an incredibly special soul.

Blue Sky Yoga is the OG yoga studio in Vegas. I probably began attending there nearly 20 years ago when my yoga journey began. Some of my favourite teachers and best relationships started in this studio. It’s incredible that it’s still a part of the changing Vegas landscape. Nothing but love for this donation based community yoga space.

The first time I came was 2017, I didn’t have money to pay for yoga…Cheryls classes were pay by donation. It was the greatest gift. I was struggling mentally and emotionally and I keep taking the yin class with the meditation after (I think the instructor was named Abby but not sure). This is the best place with the best energy and the nicest ppl. I hope this place lasts for forever its amazing. Thank you Cheryl for offering this pay what you can yoga

I found this studio about 15 years ago. I wanted to begin a true yoga practice to help me combat the stress of my career. From the moment I entered the space, I felt a weight lifted. The centering, welcoming energy was exactly what I was looking for. The instruction is absolutely phenomenal. I could safely work at my own level ( I was a beginner ) & learn correctly so I was able to advance my practice. It’s been 15 years & this is still the studio I choose for my yoga practice & tell my friends & clients about… that’s how positive my experience has been over all these years. Cheryl has built a business on helping people, whether it’s sharing her expertise for the practice of yoga or helping her community. Blue Sky is one of the rare places where you can have an amazing class & support a business & owner that truly love & support our community.

Blue Sky Yoga is an absolute gem in our community, and Cheryl Slader is the heart and soul of this wonderful space.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed into a peaceful, nurturing environment that Cheryl has lovingly cultivated. Her skill as a yoga teacher is unparalleled—she brings a depth of knowledge, gentle guidance, and genuine care to each class. Cheryl’s integrity and dedication to her craft are evident in every session, and it’s clear that she is passionate about helping her students grow both physically and spiritually.
What truly makes Blue Sky Yoga special for me is the sense of community that Cheryl has built. It’s more than just a place to practice yoga; it’s a sanctuary where I can connect with like-minded individuals, find support, and experience personal growth at my own unique pace. Cheryl’s warm and compassionate nature makes everyone feel like they belong, and her classes are always filled with positive energy and encouragement.
As an artist, I’ve had the privilege of displaying my work on the walls of Blue Sky Yoga, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Cheryl’s support and enthusiasm for the arts are truly inspiring, and it’s clear that she values creativity and expression in all its forms.
If you’re looking for a yoga studio that offers exceptional teaching, a welcoming community, and a beautiful space to grow, look no further than Blue Sky Yoga. Cheryl Slader is a true treasure, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this incredible community. Thank you Cheryl!

I'm so happy to have found this lovely studio to come and practice in community. I've attended both the restorative class and the all levels flow and found value in each practice. The all levels flow had me stepping outside the box and moving my body in new ways. So fun and rewarding! The gift of instruction comes from the heart and the $11 suggested donation is very reasonable and works with my fluctuating schedule. Plus there is beautiful work from local artists on the walls , helping contribute to an inviting and creatively charged work space. Classes with Cheryl have been delightful.💙 Can't wait to bring friends!

Cheryl has a really good flow. She gives just enough cues for the beginner or the experienced yogi. She sets the tone with a nice opening to the practice. Her voice is soothing, and I always feel good after practicing with her.

I just started going to this studio for Bellydance classes a few months before the pandemic. It’s a cute really Zen Beautiful space decorated with Art by locals located in downtown Arts district Nextdoor the Artifice. The classes I attended were popular and the owner of the studio was even a participant. I haven’t had a chance to take the yoga there yet but have from one of the teachers before she moved to Blue Sky so I know her yoga class is awesome too. 💕💯💕

Whenever I travel I always make it a point to visit my homes away from home (yoga studios). Well Let me tell you the wonderful Instructor Cheryl blessed me body, mind, and spirit. She gave so freely of herself in her teaching, and through her teaching I was able to connect the dots and release some emotional baggage that I wasn't aware I was carrying. I may teach myself , but it is always a pleasure and blessing to be a student as well. I will come here everytime I visit. Namaste ❤ 🕉 ❤

I attempted to attend the Saturday morning stretch class but no one showed up. After 15 minutes of waiting, and recommending to another new customer waiting that she should try Sin City Yoga, I left. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I saw the instructor coming to work. A lanky, tower of misery, ever-so-slowly walking toward the studio, her face dripping with a sour expression, staring in my direction, watched me leave. Wow!! A yoga instructor with a sour disposition!? That's a first. And a business that allows its instructors to be 20+ minutes late to their class? That's, unfortunately, not a first - but never that late. Her poor attitude is a reflection of this studio. Never to return. Just plain creepy. Can't imagine what her session would feel like - yikes!
There was another review posted that is no longer on the reviews - owner paid to have it removed? - but the customer said the same thing about the instructor not showing up for the morning stretch class.

What a great inviting studio. The perfect setting for learning the art of poses or expanding the practice you already have. The instructors have time to adjust each student if they need to. If you've been a long time yogi they'll throw out some modifications to poses to help you grow. I enjoy that it's not all about the money here. You get a sense that the instructors really care about your well being & practice. Thank you Blue Sky.

I was in town for business and was looking for a Yoga class. Found the Tuesday night 7:15p gentile yoga class with Laruen and really enjoyed it. She was a very confident and poised instructor, and made a stranger feel totally welcome. Great place for mind and body to relax in the city of neon blitz. The studio is in a building with lots of local art and artists, so it's not your typical yoga-in-a-gym feel. Great heart and character.
