Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi is a yoga studio in Las Vegas (Henderson) offering holistic wellness classes consisting of yoga, tai chi, meditation, and breathwork based on 5000-year old Korean traditions. We offer a variety of yoga classes for beginners and more advanced classes to energize and heal the mind, body, and spirit.

I started my experience with bodynbrain yoga a little over a week ago. I recommend this to everyone. I have had no experience with this type of program before. The program directors and the other participants are welcoming to us beginners. I had high hopes of giving this place a try. I sent an inquiry online to ask about age restrictions….what is the youngest age allowed for classes?? I never got a response or a call back. So when I decided to call and ask, I was told the youngest age allowed is 20yrs old. Really?!?! Very disappointing.

Body & Brain is an amazing studio offering great classes for a full body brain workout. They have great instructors, Ella is very energetic and kind. The classes are suited for everyone. I even had an injury, which they helped me modify and accommodate positions for my condition. I always feel better after class. Be aware.
This is not your typical yoga or Taichi class. It is an ancient system that has been updated. The teachers are there to help and support you. The results are proportional to your openness and commitment. Initially I went for the Kigong class, did not know anything about the practice. I have been going for a few months now and it has helped me with my physical and emotional issues. I am also more spiritually aware. The students come in all shapes, sizes and colors and are supportive of each other. There is a vibe of friendliness and warmth around this place. Master Ella is a compassionate, sincere, beautiful human being. She can help you navigate through your journey.

I like Body & Brain yoga because it lets me be free and helps me heal from the inside out. It's not like a regular yoga class you use your brain to focus and your body to heal. It helps me feel secure on my own. Every time I finish class I'm calm and my husband notices when I come home. My anxiety is regulated and stress is relieved and my blood pressure is lower. My practice has helped me through emotional family diseases and without it I don't know where I would be. I feel younger and more alive!

Body and Brain is really helping me. I was in a very bad car accident in 1988 and have struggled ever since then. Now, at Body & Brain, I feel hope.

Some of the exercises are still difficult, but getting easier. Same with my balance. I have one leg that has been broken a few times and the same ankle fused. Its balance is very poor, but getting better every session. This gives me great hope and courage for my older age. I don’t want to be falling and breaking bones! I have found real help and it wasn’t at the gym.

I initially became a member in 2008. I am participating today. I have always had anxiety since young adulthood. For me this center has been the greatest and most powerful practice for my anxiety and mood. And now an aging body at 60. This practice will keep my body younger then it would be normally. I have been practicing at Body &Brain for two years. At 63 I was starting to experience some health challenges. At the recommendation of a family member I tried a class and was immediately sold that this was the place. Since beginning I now have normal blood pressure and I have not needed a rescue inhaler for asthma in almost two years. Now at 65 I am significantly stronger my flexibility is back to when I was in my 30’s. Through Body and Brain I have taken workshops that have helped me manage my stress and I am living a much more intentional life. The staff is very knowledgeable and the classes are filled with positive energy and very effective at restoring wellness of your mind, body and spirit. It’s not your typical yoga studio. I have been searching for a place to be more flexible. I'm glad to have found Body and Brain Tai Chi and Yoga. Ever since I started attending the classes in March 2024, my cholesterol level improved and my blood sugar level lowered according to my recent blood test results so I am not diabetic now. I love this place! It was exactly what I was looking for. I had really bad back pain and I was looking to do yoga to strengthen my core and also flexibility. I'm the type of person that plans for everything. I'm 58 yrs old and thought, I need to get my body ready for my older age. I wanted to be learn stretches and exercise that would help me to be able to go hiking and do other activities. I signed up for a class and evaluation, for $30.00, I got a class and evaluation. I went there looking for back relief, flexibility and core strength. Well, Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi delivered on what I was looking for and even more. After, 3 days of taking the classes my back pain was gone, I stopped taking motrin for back pain. I couldn't believe it! They provided a book to understand the teaching of mind and body. Both master are wonderful and very caring. The other members that go to class are nice and they love the classes. After, 3 weeks of going to classes I have lost weight, have inner peace, have healing energy and over all really happy with myself. I went in for back relief, core strength and flexibility and I got a lot more than I expect. I signed up for 3 more months. The classes are simple and easy but effective. You don't even realize your actually working out. They say you feel 5 yrs younger and you know it totally true. I feel so good and so at peace and my body is getting stronger. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone that's looking for results and not working super hard at it. They treat you like family and the best part is both masters really care about you. They also do an evaluation every 3 weeks to see how you are doing. Overall, I will probably go to this studio for a long time. Loving my life! I'm thankful for my body and mind! That's what they teach you to love yourself, body and mind.

I joined B&B yoga about 9months ago. I mainly joined because I was struggling with low back pain and hip pain. Also I thought it would be more like hatha yoga. Well I was in for a surprise. It’s very different than traditional yoga. The exercises are so much fun. I love yoga still but this is something very different and very freeing. There’s a lot more feeling and energy involved. My pain, by the way, has not improved BUT my relationship with my pain has changed. It doesn’t bring me down as much and I tend to handle it more gracefully. I think everyone should try this at least once. It is so positive and upbeat. I have never had so much fun exercising. And I have been exercising for at least 20years plus. I have done cardio, pilates, yoga, weights, zumba. But so far this is the most fun 😊

This is my husband’s and my second year of Body & Brain classes at the Henderson location where the trainers are amazing. Before we took classes we had many aches and pains. We purchased many devices to relieve pain which never helped.
Since joining classes we noticed a significant change in our mobility and all around health.

Finding Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi has been one of the best things I have stumbled across. I started about a month and a half ago. When I started, I was stressed all the time; my shoulders were always tight; I could barely bend over to touch my knees. All my flexibility from youth was gone. Just going 3 days a week and practicing the stretches and exercises at home, I can now touch my toes; The tightness in my shoulders has relaxed so my neck doesn't hurt anymore. I am able to handle my everyday stressors better. I decided to sign up for a year. Everyone is so nice and supportive there. It's a great place to escape and focus on self.

I have been going to Dahn Yoga for about 10 months at first lots of pain but that is something I needed. From Day 1 they hand you a textbook to actually obtain the knowledge needed to learn how to strengthen your Core and open your Chakras. Every class is filled with powerful music that moves along with each of the different types of exercises just perfectly, in Sync. On some days they focus on stretching, balance and organ detox which is most helpful, Tai-Chi is great as well!
Meditation time is most relaxing and really helps clear your mind. Instructors are so knowledgeable, full of energy and really make you feel like they care. They narrate during your workout to help you keep on going.Time flies by and you always walk out feeling refreshed & with a big smile on your face. I was so excited yesterday.

Yesterday was my 7th day at Body & Brain Yoga. I go there 3 times a week.

Wow!! I was able to touch my toes without bending my knees. It was a huge improvement of my body flexibility. I showed everyone at end of class because I could not believe it myself.

I love this studio! I joined right after the Covid re opening phase and was pleasantly greeted with the cleanliness and safety I needed in a studio. Wearing the masks isn’t as bad as I had thought it would be and Jessica is the best teacher ever and these workouts have been life changing. I was skeptical of someone being capable of helping me heal the injuries I have sustained from the years of sports, But Jessica is definitely a healer and she has done wonders to fix the issues I have as well as give me hope in my body for the future.

When I first came to Body and Brain Yoga I was so afraid and intimidated because my self esteem was low. After coming daily for a few months I'm a prime example of what you could do when the training and support is there. I have been disabled and depressed for over 2 decades due to a brain tumor that caused chronic pain especially after 80 or so procedures. I thought ok it's just positions and simple and that's it but I have learned this is such an addictive lifestyle. The self confidence, my core, mind and Spirit are aligning beautifully. Without judgement for my body not being well, the instructors let me go at my own pace encouraging supporting me when I couldn't do it for myself. It's amazing how we gather energy and support one another with energy from the atmosphere without ever touching lol. It's such an experience. I could go on and on lol. They practice social distancing and screen and sanitize before allowed in studio and masks are required. They do require us to sign up for classes early because of the number of people in the studio. Its life changing so call them and try it out for yourself, you can only gain if you try.

I have had many fibroids in my uterus and it’s like 3 months pregnant size of uterus. That began to cause other symptoms like pain in lower back, tailbone and hip joints. Also I had unpleasant mood swings. I began to practice body and brain yoga diligently following guidance from the instructor at center. Wow, my condition got so much better. I don’t go to bathroom as often as before, my pain in lower back and hip joints are so much better, and tailbone pain is gone. Also I don’t have much mood swings. Seven months ago, I started Body and Brain and I have become addicted. Every day they have a different class (the wooden pillow, Tai Chi...). My sciatica is less painful and I am getting more flexible. I love the fact that they have exercises for your physical body and your brain to release the stress. Masters are unbelievable, king and supportive. I am believing in myself more everyday.

The studio is very clean, warm, and inviting. The instructors are friendly, lively, full of energy, and extremely experienced. I’ve never been able to do traditional yoga because I have issues with vertigo. Master Jessica is amazing. She always makes me feel welcome and she always helps me focus on my body and my abilities. I feel that in the short time I’ve been going there my balance has improved, my stress level has greatly decreased, and I feel a lot better overall. The people are also friendly and welcoming. I am learning to ease my mind and problems and I also have a fractured bone between my shoulder and neck and my spine got a little injured after I was in a accident of a vehicle hit me while I was crossing the street and the instructors are helping me more than the chiropractor and also it is helping me mentally and physically and the most important thing is that they are guiding me to find my true self, spiritually 😀 my sister Olga and I go and I see the difference in myself and it is helping me with alot of personal issues, that are no longer an issue, for me it's one of the best things that has occurred not because they actually genuinely care they also do one on one, I will always be grateful and thankful yours truly, will.i.am👍

Over 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Adhesive Capsulitis, also know as frozen shoulders. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I could barely pull my shirt over my head without feeling pain. My sleep was affected nightly and I was tired throughout the day. I worked as a bartender so pouring drinks daily didn't help my condition. I couldn't enjoy the activities that I loved. I was emotionally tired and became very angry. The Dr. recommended surgery or Physical therapy. I went to 8 months of PT 2-3 times per week. Therapy helped, but it wasn't enough. Finally, thank goodness I discovered Body and Brain Yoga. I started to go daily, and I didn't know what to expect, but thought I would give it a try. Discovering this healing method has really changed my condition, and I could really feel the changes in my shoulders. I'm stronger, the pain is gone, I'm sleeping, and I'm definitely a happier person. I really recommend trying Body and Brain Yoga for overall health and well-being.

I have had several surgeries over the past few years. The latest one was sinus surgery which was debilitating. It was hard for me to find the heart and soul in my day. I was beat! I was looking for a whole body/mind experience to get my usually energetic, loving self back together.
I found Henderson Body and Brain and decided to go experience the classes. I am half way through my second week and I am delighted with the results. My energy is so much better. I wake up feeling rested in the mornings and I have moments where I find myself smiling......feeling so grateful!

I've been going to classes here now for just three weeks and I love it. I can already see a big difference in my flexibility, strength, and balance. I've had chronic neck pain for years which only a chiropractor could help with. When I first came to the center I was in a lot of pain in my back and my shoulders. I could hardly stand up straight from working too much sitting down. I also got a lot of headaches from all the tension I held in my neck and shoulders. Over a short period of time I was able to strengthen the muscles in my lower back so that I could easily straighten up and had much less pain. I also no longer have headaches!!! I've learned through stretching and breathing and controlling my mind I can much better manage my stress and have way less pain in my neck and shoulders. I can not imagine my life now with out the tools I've learned here at Dahn Yoga.

I used to go to Dahn Yoga in Henderson all of the time. I loved class and how it made me feel! At one point, though, I stopped going so that I could focus 100% on my family (troubled teens). Unfortunately, in my effort to focus on them, I completely neglected myself...again. That old familiar stress-induced body ache, tension, anger and depression returned after a while. I woke up recently and realized that I needed to do something to help myself and my family. I just started going back to class and already, I can feel the difference! I'm feeling happier, can release the stress that builds up, and can more manage my emotions in a healthy way. I'm looking forward to losing the weight that I found in my time away too! I learned a valuable lesson while away - Balance is key. If I bring happiness and joy home, my family smiles with me!
