I love this place. The instructors at Body & Brain Yoga & Tai Chi are patient, kind, caring, and knowledgeable, and the space always feels welcoming. The classes blend movement, breath work, and mindful practice in a way that feels both accessible and genuinely healing. I'm a 78 year old man and have had some issues, some since I was younger in my core, can't touch my toes, and some in recent years, Pain in my hips. Since taking training at Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi, in just a few weeks I have had much improvement, especially my hip pain. I still have a way to go, but I'm confident I will reach my goals at B&BYTC. I came to Body & Brain Yoga and Tai Chi at a time when I was struggling with deep emotional distress and chronic pain. I had tried so many things without finding relief, and honestly, I joked about trying Tai Chi as a “last resort.” I didn’t know what to expect when I walked through the doors, but I was met with an incredibly welcoming and kind-hearted community. After only a few sessions, I began to feel hope again and believe that healing was possible. The gentle movements and mindfulness of Tai Chi have helped me in ways I didn’t think possible.

I am so happy and grateful Brain and Body yoga found me about 9 years ago. I was in a juice place, and there they were providing information about the yoga center and doing energy readings. I loved it since day one. It was and still is what I need, to connect my body and my brain, to creat balance in my life, and center myself. It has been a beautiful journey of love, growth, and discovery of self. Classes are my ME time, I feel the healthiest I have been in my life, full of energy and in peace. I have been going to Body & Brain located at the Montecito Center for over a year. Before I began I was experiencing low energy, joint pain, and inflexibility. I was out of breath just walking up my stairs and felt anxious about my current health. Through a series of various exercises and workshops I not only have felt physical enlightenment but emotional. It continues to be a very therapeutic experience and I have accomplished many physical goals like being able to sit cross-legged on the floor to play with my kids without my legs and feet going numb! Sounds like something so small but it was something I took for granted! Thank you to Master Cho, Master Shirley, Master Chun-Il, and Master Dahari for guiding me!

I love Body and Brain as a daily life practice. It focuses on all aspects of body and brain health. Helps with aches and pains physically as well as emotionally. Promotes self healing, gut detox, muscle strength and more. There are workshops for healing and self development which are an excellent source for all ages. It has helped me tremendously where I didn't know I needed. There is something for everyone here no matter what age or condition or if you simply just want to move your body. The instructors are awesome and you learn so much. The introductory class is free so you can check it out. And I am grateful to have Master Dahari as my coach. She is definitely a gem of its own kind!!!

I love Body and Brain. It’s an active form of meditation. 2016 I had decided to give meditation a shot but it wasn’t until Body & Brain that I was able to dive deep within and uncover my happiness. There are numerous different ways to practice through B&B and I love all of them. I have been with B&B since 2019 and grateful to my friend that introduced me to this practice. It IS unique and works. Master Dahari has been a kind & great teacher. She can personalize her guidance during classes. She has a genuine commitment to helping you discover your greatness.

I returned to Body & Brain last month after being away for over 3 years due to the pandemic. I felt my body was tight and less flexible on my first class. Needless to say, Master Cho's Wednesdays class helped me release the tensions in my body that I accumulated for so long. After attending his few classes, I can feel my body again, I can breath better again, and I'm getting more flexible. I even started a healing session and felt amazing results. My body felt refreshed. I have been attending Body and Brain yoga center on North Durango for about 3 years……lucky me! I have gained so much for myself both from the practices to the community at the center. This practice has improved my body and keeps my joints working. Even my orthopedic doctor can see an improvement and says to keep going. My experience after going for a month is remarkable! I had heavy shoulders that always ached , a knee that I couldn’t bend, and perhaps somewhat moody. I feel refreshed , my shoulders have no pain at all, my relationships at work and at home have improved, and I just overall feel a lil more confident with myself. Just in the first month, we have met twice in the park and attended 2 workshops that were highly rewarding. The instructors are knowledgeable and motivating. I have decided to make Dahn yoga part of my routine. I have nothing but positive vibes. I recommend for anyone who suffers with pain or anxiety

it's no wonder people are turning to alternative therapies and self-help that go beyond conventional wisdom when more and more people are getting sicker and sicker! My first experience with Body & Brain was at Veg Fest Las Vegas where they offered Aura readings in their booth. After this experience I decided to try out the facility with their introductory session.
I was not disappointed. The instructors are very personable and knowledgeable about their craft which I learned takes years to acquire here. They have several class locations to choose from throughout the Las Vegas area.but I chose this location since it was closer to me. The instructors teaching there are Daniele, Ella and Melinda all of whom are very seasoned and well-versed in the Body & Brain system.
The classes are quite comprehensive in disciplining the mind and body utilizing the various aspects of Tai Chi, Yoga, Qi-Gong. And deep relaxation meditation sessions. Their signature class "Liver Detox" is an excellent way of distressing and naturally ridding your body of toxins through the various forms of movements synced with their special blend of music while the instructor motivates you throughout the session. Each session last roughly 70 mins and everyone learns to become versed in the Korean art of greetings before and after class. During my classes my form and posture was corrected to get the full benefits out of each session.
I have always been open to alternative medicine and ways to improve your health and since coming to Body & Brain for a little over a month now, I'm noticing incremental improvements in my sleep, focus and overall mental clarity. Overall, my impressions are that the instructors really are passionate about the entire Body & Brain philosophy and really do provide a great alternative approach to both your body and mind. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to improve the health of their mind and body.

I started going to Body and Brain at the end of September of 2020. When I first started going I was in such a bad place mentally. I called around to a few yoga studios and even went to one but it turned out not to be a good fit. It only focused on the yoga part. I needed more than that! So I called Body and Brain and spoke with Master Danielle. She was so attentive. She asked questions that no one else asked. She wanted to get to know me and how she can actually help me. She is amazing! Not only do they teach yoga but they also do energy and healing work as well. This studio teaches you that you are the healer of your own body and mind. It gives you all the techniques and tools to use on a day to day basis! Master Hope is also amazing! I really enjoy her workshops, they are extremely informative and helpful. All the staff is great! They all want you to be better!

I try to go to class at least 3 times per week, and I always feel so relaxed and peaceful after each class. The instructor s are top notch, and I really like that there are a variety of classes each week: Stretching, Tai Chi, and vibration classes. Also, every class has a time for breathing/relaxation, which helps the body to completely relax.

I have been coming to Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi since moving from the East Coast last July. I have attended other types of Yoga classes in the past, but this is different! Master Danielle, Master Ella and the entire staff are so friendly and welcoming. They encourage you to do your best, yet respect your body condition and do what is comfortable. The focus is on breathing, meditation, stretching, and moving to improve not only your body flexibility, but your entire outlook! The class sizes are perfect (not too crowded like at the BIG gyms) and the sessions are 70-75 minutes. This is not "traditional" yoga where there are poses, headstands, or a flow......it is exercise for every part of your body INSIDE and OUT! You are encouraged to love yourself, heal your body, and grow. They even have online classes, if you so desire. I guess I would be considered a "senior citizen" and find that Body and Brain has provided me with an exercise program that I actually look forward to attending. I highly recommend it!

Extra physical strength and flexibility, meditation tai chi, and Brain wave vibration to clear a cluttered mind.
If you have read books like The Power of Now, Conscious Living, and Chakras for Beginners, This place is for you! Dahn Yoga put into physical practice ways to move energy through your body and come to a calm meditative state.
Every class is new and different, the instructors (Master Danielle and Master Toshi) are incredible. They are innovative with each class. They teach you to honor your current condition while making improvements little by little.
This class is for anyone. All ages for men and women.

If you are looking for a healthy body, a happy heart and a peaceful brain this is the place! I have tried other yoga classes before but none of them ever resonated with me. From the first time I walked through the door and was greeted by Danielle's smiling face I knew this was going to be a great fit for me. Absolutely love the classes!!! The classes are so much fun and the staff is great! Danielle, Annabelle and Master Light always make sure you feel comfortable and give you the confidence you need to try new things so you can really grow mentally, physically and spiritual. I've been going to Body & Brain for 6 months now. I've realized how much improvements I've made in my life. I'm physically more balanced, stronger & I can eat better without stomach issues. In the two months that I have been there, I've lost 20 lbs, I've regained limberness that I haven't seen in YEARS. My family and co-workers have noticed a positive change and ask me what I've been doing and I'm happy to tell them. But the best thing about Body and Brain is THE STAFF... Holy Cow, they know EVERYONE by name and they GENUINELY care. I tend to push myself but am always reminded by them to "respect my condition". My spirit is better, my health is better and my memory is better. With the folks at Body and Brain, I plan on living a very healthy and long life.

I started Body & Brain 3yrs ago due to some Pre existing health issues (physical & emotional). One day, my trainer noticed I was limping in class. He asked me how’s my condition & I told him that my bunion was causing me a lot of pain & walking was severely painful. My foot doctor recommended surgery. My trainer suggested an exercise that I practiced religiously for a year. When I went back to my doctor he was surprised that I no longer need surgery & told me continue whatever I’m doing. Now I’m totally pain free & I owe that to Body & Brain Yoga. It’s finally great to be able to wear high hills again!

I can't put into words how grateful I am to have Body and Brain Yoga in my life. They not only strengthen your body but your mind and spirit as well. The other members are friendly and welcoming and you never feel judged. I read a review that said it was not what they were expecting. I understand that initial response, however, stepping away from what you know can be a huge catalyst for positive momentum and change! Physically, I have grown stronger, increased my flexibility and lost a few inches! Mentally, I have begun to take control of my emotions instead of defining myself by them. After two rounds of physical therapy and a cortisone shot - nothing worked to ease constant sciatica pain. Master Danielle's healing techniques managed what western medicine could not -- allowed me to walk up steps normally without pain. After healing, I began a program of regular yoga/tai chi classes with the caring instructors at the Montecito center and with other friendly students. My back is stronger and stable, my 68-yr. old body is becoming more flexible and I feel healthier and younger.

I have been doing this yoga and taichi over 10years. And I visiting Las Vegas for 1month and drop by Montecito place. Instructors are warmly welcomed and people in the class were very gentle and very nice. I could feel that I am here for relaxtion and refreshment. I recommand to you when you visit LasVegas do not forget it to take a yoga class in Montecito next Kohl's. It is 2nd floor.

I've been desk bound for over 50 years until I awakened to the fact that my belly was fat, my gait was bent, and my arms and fingers got stiff and tingling. I tried the treadmill but could not discipline myself to a regimen. Medicine and physical therapy helped a bit, but could not do much to my well being. I considered tai chi, and happened to find Dahn Yoga-Tai Chi on the web. I tried out at the Montecito center instantly liked it.
I am now a student of this exercise method for over a year. It goes well with my idea that the mind and every part of the body must work together. The abdomen tapping, deep breathing, various types of meridian stretching, and even free dancing... all seem to work together to make my joints lubricated, my muscles utilized, and my stamina and agility enhanced. I love to be tutored daily by the center's dedicated masters, in a class of about a dozen like minded students. I admit that I could not do the exercises honestly at home, because I have the children's syndrome of "are we finished yet!"
I am happy to report that my arthritis is gone. I can use all my arms and legs and fingers and toes just as when I was in my fifties. My allergies are also vastly reduced if not completely gone. I lost two inches of fat in my belly. While I always had a high degree of concentration, my focus seems to be also enhanced.
I have recommended Dahn Yoga to all friends and family members who commented on my being fit at the age of 75. I want to thank the masters at the Montecito centers who have given much time and dedication to the my well being and that of my fellow students. By the way, my fellow students' age ranges from the twenties to the eighties. Dahn Yoga is good for everyone.

I love this place and the classes make you feel so relaxed. The instructors really care about you and some how know exactly what you need. I especially like the flow of music that goes along with the postures, it just makes you forget about everything outside so you can feel the peace and love around you. They have a lot of different classes that you can work into your schedule and it's a great location.

My grandma is taking this yoga. She loves Dahn Yoga. My grandma is 85 years old. She does not look like she is 85 at all. She claimed that without the yoga , she would have never walked at all.
