We had a new instructor today, Liz, for our mixed-age (5-17 years) class, and I noticed several issues that left many of the kids visibly upset. Initially, we thought it might just be an adjustment to a different structure. However, by the end of class, I overheard the instructor yelling at the kids and clapping in their faces in a disrespectful manner. The kids came out looking very distressed, with some even crying.

I spoke with my children privately and then provided feedback to the front desk. They were responsive and assured me they would address the situation. However, when the instructor called me afterwards, she interrupted me, raised her voice, and continued to be aggressive over the phone.

I believe it’s essential to ensure that our children are in a supportive and respectful environment. I hope sharing this can help improve the experience for everyone involved. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

We've been attending Brown's Gymnastics for a few months now, and it's been an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive, and the owner is absolutely wonderful. She has a natural ability to connect with the kids, keeping them engaged and excited throughout each class. Whether you're just starting out or have more advanced skills, I highly recommend Brown's Gymnastics for anyone looking to get involved in gymnastics. It's a fantastic place for all levels!

This was the place where I celebrated my daughter's second birthday, and it was incredibly fun for everyone. I only wish adults could join in and have as much fun. Everyone was prepared to jump and flip as well, but they were disappointed to learn we couldn't. Everyone still had a great time, though. I highly recommend for any party!

I love this gym by heart I miss it so so much but the only I didn’t like was how bad the air conditioning was but over all I’m going back to brown gymnastics when I have the time to focus. Overall 4/5

If you’re going to work with TODDLERS, patience and the ability to demonstrate different learning styles is essential. This gymnastics center displayed exactly how to NOT treat children, on multiple occasions. Jill showed zero interest in encouraging the toddler classes, but was quick to belittle and show irritability when an activity was confusing to a 4 year old. Find a more sensible gymnastics center, there’s plenty! Your child will thank you, mine did.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money here. Favoritism and lack of patience is a huge issue when it comes to one teacher in particular named Jill. If you're going to work with young children, learn how to encourage them. Not discourage them. Take some time to engage and teach. Glad this nightmare is over and my daughter never has to experience that lady again.

They do nothing to enforce mask mandate, so if you are ok with people potentially causing your kids to get sick, this is your place. Gymnastics part is good though.

I love Browns! We were in Vegas for 2.5 weeks for non-gymnastics related activities and my daughters didn’t want to miss out on summer training for that long (one daughter is level 7 and one level 3). The staff, coaches, and other gymnasts were so welcoming and encouraging. Both my daughters were so happy and learned so much! I’m so thankful that my daughters were able to train with such amazing coaches! The head coach even called me to make sure everything was good….that type of personal commitment and communication makes a world of difference and it was truly appreciated! We are military and my girls have done gymnastics in multiple states and I’d highly recommend Browns!

We started doing mommy and me classes with Miss Bailey about a year ago and from the beginning we loved it. The little kids are just drawn to Bailey and she is great at teaching them how to do real gymnastics (beginner stuff of course, but it's building a foundation for when they are older) in a safe way (she spots them and makes sure they aren't going to hurt themselves). We also love how this is a real gymnastics gym and my daughter can see the older girls practicing advanced moves (olympics style). The little ones get to practice on real equipment (bars, rings, tramps, foam pits, etc. they even have a baby gym with miniature everything, it's nice that they spend part of the class in the big gym on the big equipment and part of the class in the baby gym) My daughter will be 3 in a few months and it's amazing to see how much she's progressed, we're excited to move up to the next level of Miss Bailey's class and hope to continue at this gym for a long time.

My children had attended for a couple years . In mid May my husband notified them we would be gone for the entire summer to please put his membership on hold until we return in the fall. It was the two weeks notice I was told when we signed up that we needed to give. So I expected to not get a refund for the remainder of May. Now a week into June 3-4 weeks after my son last attended they billed my credit card for June’s fees. I called thinking it was a mistake and they would correct it. Instead staff was rude and told me they charge an additional month on top of the remainder of that month if you go on hold or withdrawn! A total change in policy from when we signed up! I told her if it’s an additional 30 days then June should be prorated in half and not charged the full amount as I have now been forced to pay for six weeks my child has been unable to attend. This is very shady, money greedy business practice. I’m a business owner myself and I would NEVER charge my clients for services they never received! Obviously they are desperate for the money and don’t care about the kids or repeat business. Because of this and the rude sneaky way it was done, my children will NEVER attend their gym again. I will give my money and children to a more honest business. As well as for the two years my 11 year old son attended, they had him in a class with 5 year olds and never progressed him.

We have been attending this gym for about 6 months and we love it! The staff is competent and friendly. My daughter has advanced quickly in large part because her coaches push her to do her best without pushing too hard. It's been a perfect balance of challenge, accountability and encouragment.

This gym is the worst. Vindictive staff, classes that are more packed than the Titanic's life boats, and no air conditioning. Did I mention vindictive staff that will send YOU to collections because they are too incompetent to use a calculator? Save yourself the hassle and avoid this joke of a place where the joke is on the customers.

This is the best gym in town! They seem to win all the competitions. My daughter has been on team for one year and at the end of the year my daughter took 1st in bars, 1st in floor, and first in all-around. This was the state competition in Reno! She absolutely loves this gym. She loves all her amazing instructors. They push her and she excels. The instructors in team are very good and have a lot of experience in their specific apparatus. It is expensive but I think gymnastics is expensive period. We couldn't see her in another gym. She loves Brown's Gymnastics.

I love this gym! The coaches are very cool. Once you're on team you have to take more responsibility and the coaches do expect more from you but that's why we are one of the best teams! My son has been going here since he was 20 months old. On the day we go, class sizes are small and he gets almost one-on-one attention from the coach, almost like a private lesson. You will not get that at any other gym. The parent-tot instructors are wonderful with the small kiddos and they all know him by name. We absolutely love being a part of the Brown's Gymnatics family!

My daughter is 3yo. Toddler section small. Teenagers were teaching the class. No name tags so ur child doesnt really get known. For their first time. Seems as if they cant handle the kids. Jus seems like chaos. Really busy and not very organized.

My niece attends this gym and my sister had to change her instructor do to the way the instructor talked to her. She was very rude, i dont know if race was the issue but race should not matter in a diverse place like this. As I continue to attend her classes, I noticed a different instructor and her way of teaching. She was very brutal and although I am aware strictness is required, she had a very bad attitude towards the little girls. She is someone I would not want as my niece's instructors. This lady (caucasian) currently has a black and red ombre.

After being part of "The Brown's Family" for 5 years, we are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and ill treatment we received when our daughter decided she no longer wanted to continue gymnastics. Christine who is in charge of Team Travel was very unprofessional to deal with. When she finally got back to me after weeks of trying to connect with her to get a refund, she was screaming on the phone! Someone would be better qualified to handle Customer Service then her poor representation of a good company.

The instructors were so mean to my daughter that she refused to go back. So i called the office and told them and the said that she could cancel biut would still have to pay a month penalty. I refused to pay for a service that we were not going to use. So then the sent me to collections and hit my credit report. This was our team's first experience at The Lady Luck meet at South Point, in Las Vegas, in which Brown's Gymnastics hosted. It was well organized, schedules were on time, awards were well planned out and spacious. Regal Gymnastics parents from Vermont enjoyed the experience.
