CHAPITOS BOXING GYM IS THE BEST IN RENO. We just showed up one day with my son ready to learn a new sport. The gym has extra gloves for newcomers. Oscar and Erica welcomed us with open arms. All the fighters in the gym approached my son to say hey which made him feel at ease. Coach Oscar and Yonny are great with all the fighters no matter what level they are at. There’s kids of all ages in every class. Whether you just want to train or take it to the next level and compete in tournaments CHAPITOS BOXING GYM is for you. Boxing is an individual sport but training at this gym feels like being on a team. Our entire family loves it here.

What an amazing gym and amazing community. I spend a few weeks of the year in Reno so I'm so glad I found Chapito's. The coaches were so inviting and welcoming. The workouts are great. I did the women's class and the open classes and they were both fun and challenging. Coach Oscar was super attentive to all of us, provided so many tips in such a short amount of time. There's a great sense of community and I will definitely be back when I'm back in town.

Never in my life did I imagine my kids learning boxing, it is a sport that is very underrated, thanks to Boxing my kids built confidence, increased their self-esteem, and better their grades at school. Chapito's Boxing gym has great coaches that stay on top of the kids showing them more than just punching a bag, they have taught my kids to appreciate and have respect. To coat the tremendous growth my kids have done in the past year of being part of the team, having self defense under their belt either is a long term or short term sport is such a motherly and fatherly relief. I could not be more grateful for the Chapito's support and positive influence they rub into my kids.

Seriously the best gym, by far! My son started almost a year ago and was excited to fit right in. On his first day, all of the kids at the gym shook his hand, and a few helped teach him the drills for the day. Before long, my son was introducing new kids into the gym and showing them new drills. It's safe to say that the coaches and managers at this gym are incredible at what they do. They bring kids together and train them to the fullest potential in boxing skills, as well as make them feel like family. My son has never been this motivated to remain in a sport and see his gym buddies. His skills have also developed immensely. He'd never boxed before and has gained so much skill, power, and knowledge in a short period of time. We are lucky to have found Chapito's Boxing gym. This gym is amazing. The coaches have put their whole hearts into this gym and these kids. My son has found his passion. Coach Oscar has given him inspiration and confidence in himself. Best gym around town! The coaches at this gym make you feel welcome and always push you to the limit! Well to the limit you are willing to go to! Came by as a drop-in because I was in the area for work. This place is something special. Owner was very accommodating and you could just tell this was his passion. Gym was packed with people just enjoying the workout. I will definitely be back anytime in the area and will def tell people about this hidden gem. Not a lot of places like this left in the world. No fancy equipment but 100% heart and the way it should be.

Oscar is a class act! Probably because he was a prospect in boxing and knows the struggle 1st hand , i showed up to his gym visiting from Oakland and asked how much it would be to train my boys who are both High Level boxers one signed to Mayweather promotions and the other still in the Amatuers. Oscar refused to take our $$$$ and let us train on the house. It was nice to see that common sense and hospitality still exist in the World today. A former fighter should never deny another fighter the right to train if found in this circumstance. Chapito’s Gym is one of the Last real gyms in this region. I highly recommend coming here if your a boxer in need of a place to train or if your an aspiring boxer looking to learn the sweet science from a true professional. Great gym!! Great atmosphere!! Coaches are awesome!! Good training for all ages!! The owner Oscar is a great teacher and trainer!! Very humble and great with the kids as well as the intermediate and upcoming amateur fighters. The price is lower than any other gym in the state! Absolutely Loved this place my son is very happy and exited to go back.I was amazed at how awesome the trainers were . Coach Gerry and Coach Jasper did an absolute great job I can’t recommend them enough!. they were very welcoming and helpful.
The kids that were training were very respectful and welcoming, they took the time to come give Jameison (my 11 yr old) pointers. It showed a positive encouraging environment.
After considering a few gyms in town it was clear that this was the best choice for us. I’m definitely going to join as well.
Our first lesson was free, it’s very affordable to join. They are open Monday-Thursday 5pm-8pm

It’s a great place with great people, like a big family everyone’s polite and respectful and cares about everyone else and how they’re doing I couldn’t ask for a better gym, it’s also one of the most active gyms in northern Nevada with a lot of great amateur boxers
