I’m Coach Em. I’m an independent contractor at Eagle Fitness in Sparks. I run small group personal training sessions utilizing strength, endurance and mobility training. I also have a large group workout M-Th at 5:30p focusing on upper and lower body workouts, along with core strength and cardio. Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a gym or have been training for years, I create engaging and effective training programs for each individual need. Emily is a great coach. She takes time to alter workouts based on your needs and capabilities. She is motivational and isn't afraid to tell you to get your butt moving when you need it, but understanding of those days when you just don't have it in you. She looks out for not only your workouts, but a healthy lifestyle in general, with pointers on nutrition and well being. 10/10.

Coach Em is incredible! As I travel into my fifties I realize it is so important to keep my body strong and moving. Every workout leaves me feeling spent- in the best way possible! Unlike some more traditional classes- the movements and exercises that Coach Em has us doing are more functional in nature and easy to adjust to where I’m at, while still challenging me beyond what I think is possible. And- did I mention how much fun we have?

Emily proves an excellent workout. She pays close attention to proper form. She is very aware of past injuries or physical limitations so she can develope the perfect workout to meet your goals. She will work you hard but not beyond your capabilities while increasing muscle & stamina.

Workouts with Em are designed for my individual needs. She does a fantastic job making sure my technique is allowing me to gain strength but limit injury. Many days I arrive to my workout at the end of a workday worn out and tired but leave feeling uplifted and energized!

After starting my gym journey with an online app I was stuck in a rut. I visited my sister in Reno and attended a group session with Emily. I felt so much better after that workout. Emily helped me modify exercises to accommodate various injuries. When I came home I realized I needed a more personalized plan if I was going to succeed at the gym. I asked Emily if she could create a program for me. We had an initial Zoom meeting to go over goals and what kind of modifications I could need. Each week she sends me three thorough workouts with videos attached showing the proper form. If I am not sure of an exercise, I video myself performing the exercise and she will let me know what I need to change if I am doing it incorrectly. She also sends me question about how I'm feeling and what is working or what I need. She talks to me about nutrition and healthy lifestyle changes. Emuly has modified many exercises to accommodate my injuries. In the 5 months I have been working with Emily I have gotten noticeably stronger and leaner. The only complaint I have is that I can't attend her group exercises, but distance makes that impossible. I would recommend her services to anyone inside or outside the Reno area.

I have worked with Coach Em for the past few months. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She takes the time to point out the little things so I can get the most benefit from the workouts. The variety makes it fun and I feel I am not wasting my time. Em is nothing short of Amazing! From the very first session I had with her to now. She is constantly building her own skills and knowledge to better serve her clientele and our individual needs. From team trainings to individual or group sessions she is constantly challenging us while showing relentless encouragement and genuine empathy making our time together so rewarding. I am beyond grateful to have Em in my corner!! She is so amazing at building, not only her clients muscles, but, more importantly, their confidence as well.
