Training with Brielle was the best decision I could’ve made. From day one she pushed me way out of my comfort zone. Did I complain? Absolutely. Did I whine? Most definitely . Did she care? Not one bit and that’s what makes her amazing.

My backstory and experience:
I started from ground zero, as a “high bmi” and unfit middle-aged woman. Before I started at D1, I was suffering with depression and lethargy. I couldn’t get myself to exercise no matter how bad I knew I wanted to and needed it. I knew if I maintained my current lifestyle I was headed for diabetes, further muscle atrophy, and a deeper depression, which I definitely did NOT want! (Self-reflection can be life saving!) Well, after researching many health and wellness videos, I discovered that studies show building muscle would help me feel more energetic, possibly prevent acquiring diabetes, and can improve overall mental health. So…
One day, I decided to “just do it” and invest in myself and get a personal trainer at D1! I did this because I knew I needed someone who would hold me accountable and supportively “kick my ass into shape” again- think biggest loser but not THAT extreme.
Part of my decision making process included the fact I felt that I didn’t want to waist my time anymore at one of those “typical” $10 or $30 gym memberships…what I wanted was to gain muscle and reshape my body, not waste my time trying this machine or that one over there..not really knowing what machines would give me the best results nor whatever else I needed to do. 🫤 I’ve done that in the past and I would never stick to it anyway - and I always felt awkward going it alone, ever feel that way?? Plus, I never got noticeable results going to those gyms which just made my self-esteem feel even worse. I often felt like a failure. 😞
That’s why I decided to join D1 - they’re an athletic training gym! Who would know better than them how to improve my body composition?! They literally train professional athletes! Yeah, I’m NOT an athlete but I’d like to be healthy and in shape like one!
I told myself “this is it, I’m COMMITTING TO MYSELF; I’m changing my lifestyle, and if I have to get my ass kicked to do it, well that’s what I’m gonna do!” I told my daughter and she kindly offered to go with me, to be supportive and she wanted the workouts too! 💜
I walked in, spoke with Spencer and requested a female trainer and I said that I wanted her to be understanding of my size and be kind hearted yet tough! That is exactly who I got in Jasmine! She pushes me and my daughter to excel every visit and she is even patient with our occasional whining and complaining when it gets challenging! ❤️😰💪❤️ She is super supportive and encouraging, she has a great personality AND she has even modified some exercises I couldn’t do, due to my size, so that I CAN do them in a different way, which is awesome! She’s a very positive, happy, optimistic, friendly, kind and understanding woman and I am more than proud that she’s our trainer! ❤️ I encourage any woman of any size to trust me and try out Jasmine as your trainer too! She’s gonna get your body in shape! 💪😎
My progress-
So far, I’m down a size, down some fat %, and have gained a good amount of muscle and I can finally see some slimming down and a MUCH Firmer body! I feel like I have more energy, have a brighter outlook on life, I’m overall much happier than I was when I started - and - I feel more confident in myself and I feel that I can bounce back from any depressive episode I may have now or in the future just because of the “gains” from working out with Jasmine💜💪💜💐

Our two sons have been training with Coach Nick for the past couple of months, and the experience has been outstanding. Not only have we noticed major improvements in their form and technique at the gym, but the biggest change has been in their confidence and eagerness to go to the gym!
Coach Nick is patient, encouraging, and knows how to connect with kids while still challenging them to push themselves. He breaks things down in a way that makes it easy for them to understand, and he celebrates their progress along the way.
Coach Nate is also great with his encouragement and patience! He has also helped our son with specifics around football, which is his favorite sport.

My daughter has had a great experience with Bri! Bri is not only knowledgeable about strength training and athletic development, but also just a genuinely kind, down to earth person. My daughter looks forward to every session with her, not just for the work out, but because she feels supported, seen, and encouraged. Bri has been a great role model, helping with both strength work and volleyball specific tips. I've seen my daughter's confidence grow since training with her. What I love most is that she's teaching my 12 year old how to work out safely and effectively while building a solid foundation so she can hopefully carry a love for fitness and the gym into the rest of her life. That in itself is priceless and I highly recommend!

I have been a sporadic member at D1 for approximately two years. Upon my return, I purchased a package without signing a contract or agreement, and I only received a receipt. Several weeks later, after obtaining medical clearance to resume working out, I attempted to schedule sessions, only to discover that my personal trainer was no longer with the company. This led me to request a refund. For nearly a month, I have been trying to obtain a refund of almost $6000. My efforts have been unsuccessful, including a visit to the location, where I was threatened with security and told that my situation had been escalated. I called 311, as I did not consider it an emergency, and a police officer arrived to mediate. Spencer misrepresented information to the officer, claiming I had a contract, which I never received. As a result, I am being forced to pursue civil action and incur additional fees, which I expect to be reimbursed for once I receive my refund. I am writing this review to caution others at this location to be wary of verbal agreements, as this company has demonstrated sneaky behavior regarding refunds. In the past, I had looked forward to visiting this location, but my experience has deteriorated significantly over the last few months. Their contract stipulates that they must reimburse clients if they cannot fulfill their needs, yet they are refusing to refund me. Despite my efforts to contact Taylor, the owner, via email, phone, and in-person visits, I have been informed that he is unavailable to speak with me. Consequently, I am being forced to take this matter to court.
This facility used to gear towards children and the music they play there e is inappropriate for children and it's always dirty, and it smells.The place has truly changed since I first signed up....it's been extremely disappointing dealing with such unprofessional since making another large purchase. Spencer the manager is very unprofessional. Taylor the owner from what I am told is too busy to meet with me about this.

My kids LOVE their D1 class and we are so happy to have found it! Keith is their coach and he is terrific with the kids. Very positive and uplifting attitude in leading them through their “training”. They are active for a solid hour which is a great value for the cost. They take a water break every 10 minutes so they are mindful of the kids health. Happily recommend!

Best place to train 1-on-1 or small groups. My son is autistic, coach Aaron was very patient with him. My son improved significantly his confidence, balance, coordination and strength. I was very surprised he even wanted to do a video for the coach!

My daughter has been going to D1 for the past year and it’s been a game changer for her physique. She plays tennis and I can it’s been helping her game a lot! Aaron has been a great trainer for her and has helped her gain muscle and agility to help her tennis game. Love D1! We have private training sessions with Aaron and he is amazing! My son has seen improvements, he looks forward to every training session. When we started my son had 2 football injuries and Aaron helped him recover from those injuries with targeted stretching and specialized exercises. Not only has my son fully recovered but he is better than he was before his injuries. I can’t say enough good about Aaron. The weekly D1 classes are also very thorough and give the kids an overall full body workout throughout the week, strengthening the kids to tip top shape. D1 also tracks your nutrition and muscle/fat gain/loss and gives the needed direction to improve muscle gain and overall fitness.

Aaron Hargreaves is the king of this game! You tell him your goal and he nails it. Both my wife and I are training with him over the past few months and we have completely different goals. But Coach Aaron has found the perfect routines for each one of us and we are already well on our way to accomplishing them.
I consider myself lucky that I have found Aaron out of a D1 social media Ad about professionals doing a 60 day challenge. Which for me has now turned into a lifelong commitment. Aaron is a pro football player and someone who has 20+ years of experience doing this, first for himself and later for others. When Aaron did my assessment when I walked in, I immediately knew he was the guy I had been looking for since the pandemic started. I had just come back from surfing and scubadiving in Hawaii at about 149 lbs (leanest I had been in a while). At 41, I considered myself pretty fit but never really felt strong. I told Aaron my goals and how I wanted to focus on getting strong, flexible, agile and fit enough to keep up with my 21 month old toddler. He weighed about 22 lbs at the time. Our goal is for me to gain 25 lbs of muscle by the time I turn 42. We're well on our way with 8.5 lbs muscle gained while keeping the fat same, lowering the BF to 17% from 18% when I started. Clearly, Aaron knows what he is doing. Not only are the workouts fun, he takes the time to explain each exercise and answer my questions about form and technique. I have learnt so much in the past few months, just by hanging out with him in the gym. Things that I didn't even know I needed to learn, like how to do push ups the right way. "Break the bar" :) From cracking up on Anatoly's videos to making charts on whiteboards, there's such incredible amount of knowledge Aaron has, and he is happy to share as much as you want. I was in a car crash about a decade and a half ago, and I always had bad knees from it. Aaron has worked on my deadlift and squat in a way that I am getting stronger in my quads, glutes, hams and calves. Which has made my chronic knee pain much better and improved my life to where I am climbing stairs and lifting heavy things around the home without being in immense pain after. My latest blood work clearly showed improvements since I started lifting. Ultimately, the north star for me is to be the strongest, most athletic and fittest I have ever been at 45 years. Aaron and I really share this goal for ourselves. Age is just a number, and that's what I am out to get. A better, more fulfilling life filled with possibilities of what you could do where nothing stops you from getting it. All you need is someone like Coach Aaron H. by your side, because then you know you have the best supporter in the world.

I have had bad experiences with trainers in the past. But Aaron H is one of the best coaches I have worked with. He clearly understands my goals and has made working out fun again. He is very knowledgeable and has a positive attitude. He is thoughtful and always asks how I am feeling, how the body feels, etc, before workout and adjusts the exercises accordingly. My sessions with him have become the highlight of my day. Thanks, Aaron! You are the best.

I could write a book on the awesomeness that is Aaron Hargreaves, but I'll keep this at a paragraph. :) I started at D1 in October of 2023, a 53-year-old overweight female in that "I'm over 50 and falling apart" mentality. A lot of research has taught me that muscle mass is CRITICAL to us 50+ females and with arthritis in my back and hips and other issues which make me a bit more delicate than others, I knew I had to get strong. Aaron has challenged me in ways I didn't realize I needed to be challenged and that has made my body so much stronger. I've also lost 40 pounds while building muscle mass and managed to not lose any muscle. His knowledge and passion are continuously helping me to be the best version of myself I can be. Aaron is amazing as a coach of ALL ages, sizes and abilities. There is simply no better. Thanks, little brother!

Canada (coach aaron) is my absolute favorite coach EVER! I didn’t really like weight training before coming to D1 but after getting Canada as my coach it’s always so much fun and I love trying all the new workouts whenever I go. He always pushes me to try my absolute best even when I am not always feeling it and i’ve reached so many goals because of him. Even though he is my strength coach I am also still able to talk to him about whatever is going on in my life and he’s always interested and a great listener. I chose 5 stars. Rome has attended D1 for about a year and a few months. Since then we have seen nothing but progress. Thanks to the D1 staff when he joins the classes, but the bulk of his growth is from his 1 on 1 personal training with Coach Aaron who has worked with him for about 9 months. Coach Matt was amazing! We attended a 2 hour soccer training, and the kids worked hard the entire time. He taught fundamentals, skills, dribbling, passing with purpose, etc. The gym was very clean and well taken care of. The other trainer was super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

This is a terrific gym with superb trainers, all in a cool colourful atmosphere and modern facility.
It is great to be challenged in the fitness realm by supportive and encouraging trainers.
Something a little different and more focused than the typical "fitness classes" gyms offer.
Noticed it had a real family atmosphere too with classes for peeps of all ages and levels.

Liked it at first coaches are great, but I bought into a 12 class package for my son in the end of 2022 because he has a crazy busy schedule. Was never told of a time limit to use it, was even sold it as best option when I said I didn't know how often he would make it. We used a few classes then haven't gone in a couple months because of other obligations, planned on picking back up over spring break. Received an email the other day that his package would expire in 4 days. Called and Inquired why I wasn't told this and how many classes he had left to use but was told the person I reached couldn't access that information and someone would call back... Days later no call back ...6 or more classes wasted on a term I was never informed of.. Very expensive, sell group classes then tell you don't expect much unless you pay for privates.. *update never got call promised when I called or the one they claim in their response here

I have been with D1 for three months now, it's a great mix of strength and cardio. I had been going to a cardio-focused boutique gym since 2018, which I loved but I had hit a plateau. Also, I was really missing strength training because it is SO important for weight loss/maintenance and overall health. I'm already feeling stronger, my low back issues have improved since adding strength training. My Physical therapist today said that D1 "is just what I need". Classes are small and not rushed like some "boot camp" gyms that are popular, coaches are knowledgeable and really watch your form, and everything can be modified to work best for you and your body. Give D1 a try! :) You won't regret it.

You'll get to meet the team and experience what makes their workouts so different. D1 has been a great experience for my entire family. Meeting coach Mikaela during my sons consultation was the best thing that could have happened for me. Not only did I leave signing my kids up but my husband and I as well. Some weeks it is hard to stay motivated and she has really kept us moving.
