They do not have staff on sunday. The towels to clean the equipment run out about midday so nobody cleans the equipment due to no towels and they run out of soap in the bathrooms. Not a sanitary environment

Good gym- complex review:
Equipment is all hammer strength and life fitness. Clean machines. Lots of plate loaded equipment.
Only 3 compound leg machines but lots of glute and hamstring variation equipment.
One smith machine. 15 treadmills, 15 elliptical, 2 step mills. Lots of ab machines and equipment. Seems to be a shortage of 45lb plates when it is busy. Numerous rooms of sorts to be in separate areas of the gym from others.
Good machine equipment based gym. Day pass is $10.
Towels and cleaners available to clean after yourself. Staff is helpful and fit.
Smaller locker room and restrooms but enough to get by.

Canceled my account 1 day after a year. Was forced to pay an annual fee, to cancel. I called and emailed them the day of my one year to cancel, however you can sign up online, and update payment info over the phone. But not cancel online or over the phone. We’ve been joined this fitness for years, but on the weekends if no staff working, and some of other people will bring in kids & friends.
Also just wondering if one guest can hold on 2 machines for switching one after another, won’t let people touch it,if only one kind of machine then the others can use it , hopefully this kind of stuff eagle fitness will fix it, because this is open for all the members, not only one use 2 machines at the same time, it’s meant!

A nice enough fitness center.

Pros: Clean, towels available, nice selection of weights and cardio and a First Responder's discount. This may be the furthest north fitness center in the area.

Cons: Retiree social club. Hot (temperature must have been 80 degrees in there).

Could be due to having Renown right next to it, but this is more a retirement club. You will be on a cardio machine and there's a guy in front of your machine chatting to the guy who came to the machine next to you even though others are empty.

Not sure if that is just the culture or what happens to be the demographic of the location but after a few months it just isn't worth it. If you are retired, this is the place for you!

This is hands down the best gym ive ever been to. You walk in and get greeted by the best Gym employee i personally have ever met, Arion. He's always got a smile on his face every second of the interaction and made the process of becoming a member easy and hassle free and was sure to explain every detail of the waivers and rules. The gym is constantly spotless and very clean, and Arion keeps the wiping towels well stocked, which a lot of places don't care for cleanliness. The gym layout makes sense and is easy to get from one machine to the other. Benches and squat racks are not right next to anything else and you have ROOM to do your workout without bumping into anyone else. The amount of equipment and treadmills is impressive for how small the location is and i can safely say that i can get many comprehensive workouts in with the equipment. The environment and friendliness of everyone in the gym is so welcoming and others are constantly willing to share tips and advice with beginners. The gym also has tons of rooms and areas for anyone who prefers working alone, with lots of others, and rooms for taking good progress pictures. Eagle Fitness is a 10/10 recommendation for anyone wanting a safe judge free environment to workout in.

This is a pretty good gym. Clientele is very nice and respectful. The only downside, would be that there isn’t a ton of equipment. But they do have a good range. Naturally, there are some different types of equipment that I would like to see you there, but no gym is perfect. For the price, and the accommodations of getting other people to join with you which lowers your price, nearly to Zero, it is totally worth it.

I signed up for a free trial based on an ad that promoted child care while working out. Tried to cancel my free trial, they didn't. Next thing I know I'm in a year long contract and when I tried to cancel AGAIN they told me I'd have to wait for my contract to end or pay an additional fee.... oh and they just renewed my contract. without my consent. I have never used the gym once. Their shady buisness practices are deplorable and just be careful when signing up.

Very disappointed with the owner of this location, I signed up in Oct my entire family and was charged a lot of money as application fees and for keys on top of paying another $50 a month for access. When I joined the leg press which I use weekly was broke and I was told they ordered a new one that should be there in a couple of weeks, 2 months later nobody knows nothing and they dont know when they are getting the replacement. Several other members said it has been out of order all summer, that is not what I was told!! Then last week I was charged an annual fee of another $100 less than 2 months in. So I switched gyms and they are now charging me another $100 to cancel. I went in and tried to discuss and they told me it was my problem. We will NEVER return again, all they want is your Money, we went back to another gym 1 mile down the road on disc for 50% of the cost with 3 to 4 times the equipment plus tanning beds, massage chairs and a red light bed. This gym is not for anyone who wants customer service, over $400 in 2 months and it's my problem with several broken pieces of equipment and tore seats, they will not even attempt to work with your concerns!

I moved and they wouldn't let me close my account. They said I had to still pay the full year, even though when getting the tour it was "cancel anytime." I then froze my account and should only have been billed 1 more time. Yet here I am still getting billed monthly on a frozen account (with email verification of account freeze.) I’ve been going to this gym for 2 years now and I love it here. I loved about a year ago and still make the drive from south Reno to here. I am one of the original members of Eagle Fitness and even though there are many other facilities in the area I would never leave Eagle Fitness because unlike the other facilities this feels way more like a family. They have recently invested a great deal of capital and upgrading almost all of their cardio equipment. And we all love the 24-hour access. The recent edition of new Staffing has been probably one of the best decisions they've ever made. She runs the gym like a well-oiled machine and treats it like it's her own home. Again I know there's other options out there but sometimes feeling like you belong to a family is more important

Not a lot of room to go about your business. A lot of the equipment needs attention. To be more specific maintenance. A lot of the seats are worn out. Cracking & holes in the padding. With a little TLC and a little bit of money this place could definitely be brought up to par. It's a hit and miss with the employees regarding hospitality and friendliness. In my opinion if you're running a fitness center no machine should ever be down. Every machine should be in top condition. Every machine should be oiled at the articulating points. Pivot points or however you would like to phrase it.

We moved to Missouri 10 months ago, we were in a contract and told we couldn't cancel. Our membership is on a month to month renewal now (done automatically), when I called the Sparks location and spoke with Sienna she was so rude, just wow. Was told we have to send a letter or come in person. She said the letter didn't need to be certified but I could do that if I wanted to but there's no way to verify if our memberships have been cancelled until after the 30 days and hope they don't automatically withdraw from our account again. I asked for the managers name, she told me Mike. I asked for his last name, her response was "There's only one Mike here". I asked are you not going to give me his last name and she flat out said "NO".
THIS A BUSINESS, or so I thought. Out of no fault of our own, we ended up 1800 miles away and have been giving our money to this facility for a year now without being able to use it. Now, this snotty girl is giving me a hard time because I'm not sure our account will actually be cancelled? If you're talking to me on the phone and I prove it's me, why oh why do I need to send some vague letter that can be "lost" or "never received"???? Mike, if you actually read this, I'd appreciate your communication.

The place is always clean, light music in the room but not overly loud to the point I have to blast my headphones. The staff is nice and friendly and always welcome me and my son. During the free , yes I said free, daycare my son has a blast and is well taken care of. When the staff isn't there there are spray bottles and towels to disinfect and wipe down the machines after you use them and make them smell nice.

Descent little gym. Unfortunately the Cons out weigh the pros. Weights are always a mess and never organized, some lockers have been broke for months, toilet broke for months (instead of putting a note on it fix the problem), spin bike with virtual screen broke for months (asked to get it fixed and got blown off) , curl bars need maintenance collar about to come off due to lack of, cleaners invade space when lifting, water fountain filter has been dirty for weeks. For the cost it’s pretty good I guess.

Nice and clean gym, with friendly staff. My favorite trainer there is probably Joe White. I don't train with him, but he's always willing to give you advice and knows what he's talking about!
About the gym: There's an abundance of lockers, so you'll never have to worry about not getting one. Whenever it's busy, most people are on the cardio machines, so if you're there to lift, it's not too bad. My only complaint is there there's only one squat rack, and if it's taken you're either going to have a wait, or squat in the CrossFit area, without any spotter catchers. Not great if you're trying to go heavy. This place is great if you like cardio, and physique training. A lot of machines, and options. But if you're a powerlifter, or going strong man, wouldn't recommend. The lack of spotter bars in the bench and squat areas makes it so it's impossible to lift heavy, safely, without a spotter. So I only recommend it if you're just starting out, and not moving a lot of weight yet, or have someone who will be able to consistently train with you.
Membership pricing is also pretty good, and they have a no contract option, so it's easy to switch gyms if you need to.

They tell you that the membership comes with unlimited guest passes so I took my husband to work out I then got told that I need to take different people every time that I cant take my husband every time. I would of appreciated if they mentioned that in the beginning. The child care center is horrible they don't even provide chairs for the children. My 7 year old had to sit on the bare floor with nothing to do. He hates it so much that I feel guilty taking him there, so I end up not going to the gym often.
